ARC Locksmith Service

Ramasun Farr was my locksmith and he did a great job. Very efficient and professional. Two of the locks were very old but now work like new after he serviced them. Two of my locks had missing keys and I wanted them to match other locks in the house which he did. Great job and great price.

My wife and I just bought a new house with 3 exterior doors and we wanted them to all be keyed the same. Also, we wanted to install a keypad lock on one of the doors so we can open the lock with a code rather than having to use a key. Also, the deadbolt on the front door was not working. The short story is they sent a technician named Ramasun who was very nice but seemed to be very inexperienced. He had to call his boss several times with questions, and seemed unable to handle the complexity of the job. He fixed the deadbolt but needed to do research on finding a keypad for the one door, and changing out the knobs on another door so it could be keyed the same, and changing out the cylinder on another door so it could be keyed the same. I asked for antique brass finishes so all the new hardware would go with the house and that seemed to be a big problem with their supplier. So after a week and half of phone calls back and forth about how much trouble he was having finding the right hardware, and that the cost to install a keypad on the door was probably going to be $800 because it was a big job, I decided to call a different locksmith who came out the day after I called, and had all the work done the following day for a very reasonable cost. I am sure this is a good company when Tony, the owner does the work, but Ramasun has not been appropriately trained in my opinion.

He charged me an additional fee of around $30 on top of the coupon I paid for. He was friendly and made a special trip for me, but I was unhappy with the extra costs.

It was good. He was timely, fast, prompt and efficient. He was on time and finished that day.

They were very good and they were on time. They did the work for less than what we expected it to be. They did what they said they were going to do and we are pleased with the work.

I had never been given keys from my laundry room to my garage, and my key to the front door didn't work in the laundry room door. The locksmith was able to come to my home the same day I called to make an appointment. The new keys were made quickly, and the locksmith was professional and competent. I would definitely use this company again.

I thought something was wrong with the lock and would need to be replaced because my key had to often be jiggled a lot to make it unlock the front door. I didn't have a key that would unlock the back door. Tony arrived early after my call for help, which worked out well for both of us. He re-keyed a total of three locks and made me some extra keys that all worked very well. Now, we can even use the same key to get into the back door as well. Tony pointed out that I didn't need to replace any of the locks, so he saved me money by being professional and honest.

Tony was here at stated appointment time. He finished all but one lock for which he needed a tiny metric Allan wrench, which he did not have. He returned the next day and finished up. Tony was very pleasant.

Everything went well and was performed in a timely manner. I was overcharged, since I had bought the Angie's List deal. Before I even realized this, the service man had given me a call and came back to my home to alert me. The credit was received with no issues. Very honest and great customer service! I hate that I waited so long to finish this review, as I've forgotten the guy's name, but he did a great job.. I definitely recommend this company!

Prompt excellent service and work.

On Angie's list, I saw ARC's deal for $29 service call that includes all labor and service. However when I got the call back for an appointment, the owner told me that it would cost me an additional $25 for a total about $55. And was promised to have the service provider by 2pm and didnot show up until 5:15pm. The service guy was very professional and replaced the lock in less than 5 mins. He mentioned that he will provide the best services and did some filing of the lock placement in the door without asking me. Charged me for another $25. So don't be misled by their $29 all-inclusive service call. I ended up in paying 3 times the cost of what it should have been. I will never go again with this company. I don't trust.

Did a nice job. He was a little late but not a big deal. My husband was satisfied with the work.

He came on Saturday. Finished the work quickly on site.

Professional, kind and fast.

I received a message through Angie's list from Tony, the owner. I told him that I wanted to have a deadbolt installed on my door. I scheduled an appointment for 3 days later. On the appointed day I was contacted by the locksmith, Ron. He called because he was able to come early and wanted to know if that would be ok. It was. Ron put paper down on the floor so that wood shavings would not get onto my carpet. He did a great job installing the deadbolt, did a good job of cleaning up and assisted me with a problem that I was having on another door.

It went great. Both Rom and Tony (owner) came out. Both were very courteous and quite concerned that the work was done correctly and when we wanted it done.

Tony contacted us and set up the appointment. Tony was able to accommodate us within a very short time frame. He had his associate, Ray, come to our residence since he was in the vicinity. Ray was very professional, and displayed a very positive attitude. He made suggestions, which helped us in determining how we should proceed. He immediately set to work, and was able to accomplish everything in a very reasonable amount of time. He worked from his vehicle and had all the necessary tools and parts necessary to accomplish the job. He left each work area (front and back doors) spotless. Ray even instructed me to use the assigned key for each lock to make sure that it worked properly and smoothly.

Tony was not only punctual, but called ahead of time. Nice touch. Very friendly, even though I wasn't particular in the mood for small talk. I can appreciate someone who picks up non-verbal cues like he did. He also worked steadily and had the two locks and deadbolt completed in less than 30 minutes.

His response was fantastic-I called him at 6:00 am and he was at my house within 15 minutes. Was polite, tidy, professional and compassionate. Friendly and trustworthy. I hope I don't have another emergency like this (I'd locked my car and house keys in my home office and needed to leave for work!), but if I do, I will definitely call this company!

Outstanding professional courteous services- this is not an accolade I can easily give it to a service provider. Tony is an outstanding professional. He was knowledgable, punctual and extremely courteous. I recommend him highly for any locksmith related service. I will use him again if needed and recommend to families and friends.

Overall they were wonderful. They did an excellent job. They were on time and very efficient.
