Description of Work: Larry was called to do an anuual servicing of the furnace. He arrived promptly and got the job done in a reasonable. I have already made a report on this job. In the future, I will call them again.

Description of Work: Told me i needed a new unit, tried to sell me a $4000 HVAC, then finally agreed to fill w freon, charged $880 for that.. said it took 8 lbs.. then only lasted about a week, but luckily it cooled off enough that i could wait. This spring, had another company come out, cleaned coil and put 6.5 lbs of freon in cost me $300.. It is mid June and is AC is still keeping it cold as can be

Description of Work: Replaced entire HVAC with a top of the line Trane Heat Pump and A/C System. Showed up exactly when they said they would and spent two days installing the system. Lead installer was very knowledgable and gave me a thorough walk through of my new system. My electric bill last month was -1 from my normal $210 levelized payment plan. The new system is far more efficient than my previous 1995 system. Great move having it replaced and great job by Adam and team at Comfort Systems in South Couru St. Louis.

Description of Work: It was a cold Friday evening and the thermostat seemed to be stuck - it didn't get warmer in the house and I was cold. I got worried and picked up a card I had received in the mail thinking it came from my regular furnace company. When I called I was told that someone would call but the representative said that he would come the next morning. He arrived on time and looked at the thermostat. I had turned on my oven to warm up the area and then the thermostat started working. He speculated that the batteries might need to be changed but I didn't have any new ones. We went down to the basement where he looked the furnace over and said that he couldn't find anything wrong so I said that since he was there he should do the fall check on it. He did and dusted off areas that needed it. After he came in, I didn't know him so asked some questions and realized that this was not the company I usually call but since he was already there I let him do the job. At first he seemed kind of impatient. After we talked about the problems he seemed to be calmer. I thought $70.00 was a little high for that type of service.

Description of Work: We recently had a new heating and cooling system installed by the crew at Total Comfort. Bill, the consultant who spoke to us prior to the installation, was very knowledgeable and professional. He arrived at the appointed time, carefully reviewed our needs for a new system, and offered several quotes on the spot. He really new his product and was confident that we would like our new system. The new system was installed by experienced professionals and was nicely done as specified in the contract. We have not been through the hottest part of the summer yet, but so far, our system has been running fine and is also much quieter than the old one. We are very satisfied so far. |

From the salesman to the installers, everyone was very professional, courteous and quality oriented. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: I called them on a Wednesday, and they said a tech would call me Thursday morning to come out for an estimate. They took all my info, but no one ever called back. It was a waste of my time sitting in a house with no A/C.

Description of Work: I called to have the Furnace checked and cleaned. The lady on the phone was courtious and helpful and gave good advice. I had wanted to have the airconditioner serviced also and was told to wait until the outside temperatur was at least 50F. The serviceman was on time, clean and professional. He suggested to take advantage of the special offer to pay for aircoditioning service at the same time and save $5.00. However; he did not change the electrical switsh back on and when I returned home in the evening the temp in the house was down to 63F. Since there are times I have to stay away from home at night, I was not happy about this. When I called the company appologized.
