Reinhold Electric Inc

Anthony, the technician from Reinhold, called to let me know what time to expect him on the day I scheduled the work. I found Anthony to be pleasant, engaging and quite professional. He had scheduled in the power company (disconnect-reconnect power) and the inspector so there was a minimal down time. I am very pleased with Reinhold's workmanship and personnel and would recommend them to family and friends.

The strong storms that came through brought heavy lightning and thunder. There was a loud boom in the early morning which caused a surge that caused us to lose power in a portion of the home. We called Reinhold after my husband tried to troubleshoot and find the source of the problem. He explained everything in detail to the person he spoke to on the phone. He explained we were leaving on vacation and needed the alarm system working while gone. We can't say the office person really understood the seriousness of our situation as he scheduled the tech to come to our house at 1 PM in the afternoon. The issue with that is their day ends at 3:30 PM and then it becomes overtime which we soon learned. Matt arrived and was very personable, courteous and knowledgeable. He and my husband walked through every room, checked every outlet, checked the panel, etc. and were almost at a loss to find the issue. Matt was the one who explained that their regular work day ended at 3:30 and that if he couldn't resolve the issue they would have to send someone else as he had prior commitments that evening which we understood. We were rather unhappy with the office staff who should have scheduled this first thing in the morning, but Matt was very determined to diffuse any frustration we had and continued right up to the last minute. To all our surprise, he heard something literally at the last minute, and on further inspection found 2 wires touching that were almost impossible to see inside a wall outlet behind a wall mounted TV. In spite of being past the time he should be off work, he finished the job to ensure we could leave on vacation and not have to deal with another service call. He saved us money, time we didn't have and was able to complete the repair in less than half an hour where he wasn't too late leaving. Lesson learned for us is knowing the companies hours to ensure you are given an appointment that allows the time needed when it is a problem that must be isolated. Unfortunately we couldn't control the timing of a storm right before we were leaving town, but definitely recommend planning enough time for repairs when possible. Finding the culprit was the time consuming part of the service call, at least in our case, where the repair was not much time at all. We would still call Reinhold again for assistance, in fact we are considering adding some additional power outlets outside on our patio and some other minor upgrades. Matt was great and we really appreciated his work.

One day I noticed that 10 outlets and one light switch in my basement didn't work. I checked the circuit breaker panel box and nothing tripped. I flipped all the circuit breakers off and on again, and nothing. I called Reinhold Electric and they were able to come out the next morning. Lon showed up and determined it was a bad circuit breaker due to age – my panel box was 30 years old (Crouse Hinds). He was unable to find an exact match for the circuit breaker, but he was able to replace a "pair" which involved increasing the ampere. I felt it was the beginning of my problems with the old panel box. For safety reasons, I inquired about replacing the whole panel. Lon called his supervisor to set up an estimate. Carl called the next day and we arranged a time to meet. Two days after our meeting I had the estimate in my mailbox. Because of a coupon offer, I decided to upgrade my panel. Lon was the installer. He showed up a few minutes early and was done by noon. He was very neat, organized and detailed. My panel box is great and the outside area is up to code. The whole process with Reinhold was seamless. Everyone involved was very friendly and reacted quickly. Carl was nice enough to do a follow up call to ask me how everything was working. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

It went excellent. Repairman came out the same morning that I called and worked quickly to address all issues and did a walk through to talk about some my future projects.

The electrician was quick and knowledgable. He worked the entire time he was in our home, took apart and reassembled things neatly, and was able to repair the issue and restore power to the house. After he left, a different outlet stopped working, so we called Reinhold again. The electrician returned within a few minutes, during his off hours, and quickly located the issue--a cord he accidentally knocked loose on the junction box--and fixed it for free. Knowing that staying to clean is usually a waste of the customer's money, he asked if we would prefer to clean up the minimal mess ourselves, which we did.

Reinhold Electric was one of 3 electric companies that gave me a bid on aforementioned work. I went with them due to the professionalism of Dave Deaton and also their competitive pricing. Glen, the electrician sent to do the work, exceeded my expectations with the quality of work done and also his professional, can-do attitude.

They were very efficient and the price was extremely reasonable. Fixed everything.They were very friendly. Outstanding work!

It went very well. It was a relatively minor issue. The service person did a great job, addressed concerns, was very pleasant and professional.

I am beyond happy with the service Reinhold provided. Easy scheduling, quick to arrive and the technician not only did an outstanding job, he was very friendly (and funny- made my day!). If you are searching through tons of electricians trying to find which one to use, look no futher - use Reinholt. And btw... the other electricians I contacted estimated the cost to be between $600-$1200 and said it would take 3-4 hours - it was done in an hour! I will definitely use Reinhold when i'm ready to have my bathroom fan installed (or anything else electrical).

The service electrician determined that the 77 year old switches were still functional and it was arcing only because an incoming wire was touching the metal wall box. He checked all connections on the switch and wrapped electrical tape around the switch case so bare wires could not touch the wall box. Everything working now and the old switches can live on for hopefully many years.

Absolutely great! Called late yesterday and Floyd Anderson came by this morning. Fixed both problems in less than 1 hour. Was totally professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He even cleaned up after himself!

No return call when one was promised.

Excellent service! Upon buying a new property, the building inspector had dislodged a wire on the circuit servicing the stove and oven. While they appeared to work since the 120 volt service was uninterrupted, the 220 volt service was disconnected. Unfortunately, this wasn't identified until after the inspector left and the current resident returned that evening and attempted to prepare dinner. I contacted Reinhold and explained the situation. They were very prompt in responding and quickly took care of the problem. I appreciated their fine customer service!

I have used them in past and work was good. The electrician (Frank) that came this time was very nice. I plan on asking for him next time. He was friendly, punctual, professional and great with the dogs! I called and they were able to fit me in within two days. I am very appreciative of that. The price was standard, but it is worth it. If you want good electrical work you do need to pay for it. It is not something you play around with.

I had chaos at my home today, due to power outage 12 hours ago, Carbon Monoxide alarm going off, arrival of 6 fireman, 1 tech from Utility Company, and finally Floyd from Reinhold. Utility company told me that it was an internal problem, probably requiring a new circuit panel for approx $2000. Floyd checked things out and determined that I needed to replace the breaker. He had one in his truck and quickly installed it. Fearing the worst, financially, I was prepared to write another check for hundreds/thousands of dollars. He called the office for the price, added his service charge of $62 and presented me with a bill for $127.00!!!!! He stated that the owner of the company believes more in customer service than high profits. I could have kissed him, but restrained myself on his behalf. And at 75 years of age, I am out of practice with kissing. This encounter with Reinhold, and Floyd, was a bright spot in the repairs of the last few months.

I found myself in need of an after hours electrician due to a short in my wiring which affected my power on the hottest day of the year. I called several companies but was impressed with the promptness in which my call was taken (not sure if this was an answering service or not which says something), what I felt was the lack of price gouging for an after hours call, and the general service I received. The technician was responsive and professional after a very long day full of emergencies. He troubleshooted my power, determined the issue, made it safe and took the time to make sure everything was back up and running properly. I would highly recommend Reinhold Electric.

They did a beautiful job. Glen worked and was quite and showed up on time. He let us know when he was needing to leave for any reason. He work straight for 2 days. When the inspector came out he made a comment about how good of a job he did.

Contacted sales rep to schedule ceiling fan installation. Rep would not provide an estimate, but said an estimate could provided once the installer determined what needed to be done. Installer arrived and did not provide and estimate, and went ahead and finished the installation in 1 hour. After finishing, the installer contacted the office, and the person at the office told the installer to charge $500.00, a clear indication that there was no intent to provide an up front estimate. In my opinion, not providing an up-front estimate is an unethical business practice, and in this case resulted in what I consider to be price-gouging. $500.00 is an exorbitant cost for a simple 1-hr install of this nature. Our bad for not being more insistent on an estimate up front. However, this is still price-gouging, in my opinion. "Buyer Beware!"

Jason came out Monday and gave us an estimate. He was very friendly, professional and on time. His estimate was reasonable and was the total we paid. Floyd came out on time Tuesday morning and did the work. He was very friendly, professional and knew exactly what to do and how to do it. He even swept the floor of all the wood chips when he was done. Thank you for blessing us with a great job. Way to go Reinhold Electric. We will definitely use you again.

The job was done in 4 1/2 hours. Glen called first to get the address, arrived on time. We told him what was needed, showed him the ceiling fan-light that was still in the boxes and offered him use of our ladders. He asked us to cover the bedding because of drywall dust, which I did. He tested the circuit that was dead and discovered the broken switch. He then went right to work, pausing only to ask which side of the fan blades I preferred. When finished he went out to the Reinhold truck to figure the cost. He apologized about the drywall dust tracked into the living room. My husband has done drywall work before and I know Glen was very neat, my husband would have made a much bigger mess. I love having well lit rooms.

He methodically tracked down the issue with my lights. It turned out to be a GFI problem. I called in the morning and the electrician was here about 2 hours later. The service was quick and I would use them again.

I used the coupon they had. I thought it was very good. They were timely. They gave you a block time at which they would be at your home. The guy was thorough and friendly and I would use them again. I thought he was reasonable and the quality was good.

Derek did a great job, very efficient and thorough. Reinhold's office was very responsive in quickly providing a written receipt and lien waiver for us to provide to the buyer. Highly recommend them and will be using them shortly for work at our new house.

They were on time, did what I asked them to do and they were very professional. I liked them very much. The price was what I expected.
