in theI went to the showroom based on the hours posted on the company website and found that the actual showroom hours differed. Called later and left a message for a salesperson to contact me; that call was never returned. My wife and I went again to the showroom during the hours posted on their door and phone message and found them closed with no explanation. As I consider my time too valuable to throw away on a group like this I will not use Pella so long as I live in the St. Louis area. I like their products but the professionalism seems more than a little lacking.

We would definitely recommend them. They finished it in October 2010. Overall we are satisfied them. We needed clarification when it came to getting permits for the construction. They do the construction very well but their main service is replacing windows. They don't do atomic constructions so their process was little bit sticky for the window replacement. Once we had the permits, it went smoothly. I guess they look absolutely gorgeous. We probably talked to four other companies.

They didn?t charge us because it was still under warranty. The door that they installed in December was defective. It took a while for us to get the problem fixed. Once I got hold of the right person to keep a track on this, they were done very quickly. The person who came to fix the door was very pleasant and nice. They were very pricey.

Very professional company. On time. Work performed well. No damage to surrounding windlow frames.

We liked their windows. Specifically, we use casement windows with a roller screen. It is a window with a screen that rolls up in to itself. When you want the screen down, you pull it down. When you don?t, you just roll it. We love it.

I called for an appointment for an in-home quote. The sales rep arrived on time. He took measurements and looked at the doors to be replaced. He used his computer to put together the quote for us while he was at our house. He showed us a couple of options and we discussed opportunities to keep the costs reasonable. Unfortunately, this bid was the highest of 3 that we received and there didn't seem to be any technical or quality reasons to motivate us to go with a higher bid.

They did a good job on the installation. They were professional and cleaned up. They put trim on the windows. It was a little expensive.

It went very well. They came in early in the morning and their work was done very efficiently. They were very clean and very courteous. They were out by mid afternoon. The salesman was very information and he wasn't pushy. Everyone we called was very cooperative. We went there to look at their windows and they were very helpful there too. They came when they said they would come and they were very efficient. The price was good. We did some comparison-shopping and they were cheaper and I liked their windows better. We would absolutely use them again.

Pella came and gave us a quote. Then, after we made the order, their representative came to our home and carefully measured for the custom-made products. The workman were skilled and courteous and enough workers were provided to complete the job in the projected three days. We are pleased with the products and glad we had the work done. We were more interested in good materials and workmanship than in a strongly competitive price.

I contacted them because I thought their windows were good. We didn't go through with the project, but they were on the short list.

Their estimate was right on target. The work was very well done. It was done very quickly and very neatly.

The staff was very responsive with some of the questions I had. They were very prompt and professional. They were a little more expensive than some of the other companies but they were good and we had no problems with them.

Excellent experience. Highest quality material and professional installation. They are expensive but you do get your money's worth.

They measured for the windows to give an estimate. After I signed the order, all measurements were repeated and double checked by another worker before it was sent to the factory. After several weeks the windows and installers arrived. It took three days, as estimated, to complete the removal and hauling away of the old aluminum windows and to install the new door and windows. The workers were courteous, focused and skilled. Most of the time there was a pair at work but part of the time there was an additional man or two. They completed everything on time despite having to do some of the outside work during a drizzling rain. I wish the clean up of glass shards had been more thorough--a few small pieces were overlooked in the lawn. When the sliding glass door's second lock, not the primary one on the handle, was difficult to lock/unlock, I called and a technician was sent to adjust the door to make the lock/unlock feature easy--because the door had built in mechanisms to accomplish this if one knew how to do it. I have no disappointments in the product and the installation looks good.

The installation crew was professional and did a quality, thorough job. I left them in the house alone while I was at work, and had no problems. It's now a year later, and a couple of the windows are not closing easily (you have to push H****** the window pane as you close the latch, otherwise it won't catch). From what I can tell, this is not the fault of the installers, but the fact that the Impervia windows, while overall of excellent quality, have a very cheap/flimsy latching mechanism. I called their service team and the woman I talked to brushed aside my complaint and said not to worry about it. I called back again and they agreed to send someone out. However, the tech did not keep the appointment we set, but rather showed up at a different time when I could not be there. My wife let him in and he checked the windows and could not find the problem I had described. Hard to believe since it happens every time you close the windows. I will have to call them out again and make sure I am here when they come. Stay tuned...

We had a very old, very big sliding glass door that needed to be replaced. I wanted one with the blinds between the glass for several years. I received a great coupon and called Pella to get a bid. It was not cheap - but the door is wonderful. I was amazed at the installation. The two men who came were great. The new door came with new trim and you would never know it was a replacement (other than it is much nicer than the rest of our house now).

Performed the job to my satisfaction.

They did a great job. They were here on time both days and got to work right away. They took one 15 minute break each day and ate their lunch in the sunroom. I never saw them talking on the phone or taking any other breaks. The quality of their work is tremendous and they cleaned the room up better than it was before they came. I would definitely use them again for future projects.

We first reviewed the products at the Pella showroom and arranged for a salesman to visit and give us a detailed estimate for our site. We ended up choosing Anderson products because the security pins seemed more substantial.

This company has a well earned reputation for quality work. They proved that while they worked in and around my home. They dealt with the small problems that came up professionally. They didn't over charge me for the work they did.

The folks at the store were helpful. Our estimator was very through and knowledgeable. However, the paperwork must have been put aside, as the appointment for installation took far to long, and only after a call to Pella, was it discovered that they had failed to schedule the install. They were able to get to us quickly, after that happened. The installation crew was on time, but not completely prepared for the unexpected weather and we had water in the house. They came back the next day to install the master bath window. They were on time and professional. We were able to deduct the cost of the water clean-up and we had only one call back to finish some caulking they had not done to the windows downstairs.

Glenn Fialka came to look at the picture windows we wanted to replace and took measurements. He explained how the original windows, (which were long gone), had worked and showed me how he could tell that two had been sash windows. Glenn offered me options, explaining the details of each, the cost and benefits. He did the same with the floor to ceiling sash window which was too narrow to replace with French style doors and remain historically accurate. Glenn also explained that due to the size of the windows it might take up to eight weeks for installation. We received a quote within a week, and the windows were installed in six weeks. The installers were courteous, professional, and friendly. They were very careful and cleaned up all the debris left from their work.

The representative arrived on time and was very professional. He was very thorough and made sure he knew exactly what I wanted and made a couple of suggestions that were very helpful. It did not take very long to have the windows made and installed and they could not look better. I highly recommend them.

The process of getting an estimate from Pella was one of the best of all the six bids we received. Rather than a hand-written incomplete estimate, we received a computer print-out that was itemized with every feature we would be getting on the door, plus any alternatives (and prices) that we were considering. We chose to go with Pella because of the combination of value and quality, compared with other products we saw. The installation was done within three weeks of the order, and the installers were professional and left the work site spotless. Before this process, I thought Pella products would be out of our price range, but it turned out to be in the mid-range of our bids (much less than Andersen and Champion) and we are very pleased with the result. We would use them again and would definitely recommend the company others.
