Description of Work: Had the part in stock, fair price and it worked. However, I was told by the CS Rep working the counter that the part was not returnable if the part failed to work. To me, this is not a very professional attitude...use at your own risk.

Apparently the auto ice maker had been held in place by two screws which had backed out, allowing the module to fall out of place. He repaired it in a timely fashion, and offered to return if the same problem recurred, without additional fees.
Description of Work: 3 year old Samsung refridgerator automatic ice maker ceased to function. Mike set a time next day when he could diagnose the problem; quoted his flat rate for a house call and we agreed to do it

+ -1 moreWe called Hawkins Appliance first thing Monday morning. Mike said he would be out first thing that afternoon. He did not come so we called his business about 5:00 p.m. and left a message. He called first thing the next morning and apologized saying he had written us down on his schedule on the wrong day. He came out that morning and took care of the problem as described above.
Description of Work: When Mike arrived, we were unable to reproduce the clunking noice that prompted us to call him. After looking it over, Mike felt the drum glides were probably the culprit and replaced them. He told us to call him if that didn't fix the problem and he would return for no additional charge. Two days later the dryer is still operating quietly.
