Our experience was great. We noticed a leak coming from our light fixture in the master bath during a bad storm. After consulting Angie's List, we chose A-1 Guaranteed Roofing to give us a quote based on their rating. The owner came out the next day and gave us a quote after looking at the problem. He couldn't repair the roof for about a week due to inclement weather (including snow), so we had to call to see when he was coming out. His employee, Jeremy, came out bright and early the next day. Jeremy did wonderful work. My husband, who was in construction for 20 years, kept an eye on him and he performed above and beyond. He was very thorough, and went out of his way to make sure not just that the leak was sealed, but that the little things were done so as not to have any more leaks in the future. Jeremy was friendly and worked steadily, taking about 3 to 3.5 hours to complete the job. He even walked the entire attic and informed us of where the roof had leaked before. Our roof was only about 7 years old, having been fixed after going through a tornado. Unfortunately, we found out with this service that the previous people had not only done bad work, they had sold us bad materials that were so bad they aren't even on the market today (don't use Summit Roofing -- more about them on their page). We are very satisfied and would definitely use A-1 Guaranteed Roofing again, and specifically ask for Jeremy to do the work. He's someone we have seen very little of in our time here -- a true craftsman.

I called A1 Guarantee the morning before Thanksgiving with a request for a repair estimate. They called back within a half-hour, saying their estimator would head out right away and either give us an estimate or make a repair if possible. Troy, their estimator, arrived promptly, reviewed our issue, and made a quick repair. Very knowledgeable, professional. Very good overall experience, I would definitely recommend them.

Several years ago they replaced my roof. Good job, fair price. I am an insurance adjuster (they didn't know) and work with roofing companys all the time. These guys did a great job, didn't try and scam. Wasn't an insurance claim. This was paid out of pocket and no issues. Several years later a leak occurred. it wasn't a result of their work but they took care of it for no charge...it wasn't big deal but they returned my calls and exceeded my expiation. These guys are first on my "to call list" when roofing issues come up. They are not salesman, but roofers. No significant or unexpected bumps in the road with these guys.

They did a great job. My insurance carrier recommended them. The insurance covered most of it. They were very quick and efficient. They picked up all the debris and I would hire them again.

Recommended to us as a preferred provider by our insurance company they worked directly and flawlessly with the adjuster who had personally assessed the wind damage and with the insurance company for payment. After some difficulties in coordinating the logisitics, A-I was exceptionally responsive, professional, and thorough. The crew that came to do the job was a model of precise team work. They did the whole job efficiently in less than 2 full days. Even after the first day, when they planned to return to finish the following day, they cleaned up every staple, every scrap of shingle and paper before leaving. At the completion they were meticulous about removing everything, even going up in a tree to retrieve a piece of plastic that the wind had blown there. They also reinstalled the TV antennae. As part of the reroofing task they cut into the chimney to insert new metal flashing. The crew's supervisor returned to the job at a later date to inspect the work done, and to paint the pipes/vents that protrude through the roof to match the shingles! The company owner, the contract manager and every member of the crew were all impressively responsive and courteous. They also warranty their work.
