A-1 Guarantee Roofing did a great job. Professional and competent staff and excellent workmanship. They were on time, for the committed start and completion dates. They cleaned up well after the project was completed. The A-1 TEAM communicated well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof repair or roof replacement.

This was the most efficient businesses we had ever dealt with. We called them and asked for their estimator to come and an appointment was made and he was here right on time. Chad was very good to work with and very polite. He was very good at explaining everything to us and showed us what all needed to be done. We gave him our order that very day and within about two weeks the crew was here to do our roof. All the crewmen were very polite and worked very hard at getting the job done promptly. Their workmanship was excellent and they cleaned up the yard very good and it all looked perfect when they left. The two inspectors that came were very friendly and polite. They kept things picked up as they went and removed debris each day! The onsite inspectors and crew leader made sure all the contract details were adhered to, as well as doing a final inspection of the installation to insure everything was as it should be! The job was completed on-time, with no "surprises" or upcharges. A-1 Guarantee Roofing certainly has their business running smoothly from start to finished. We made the call for an estimate and that was done immediately. Ordered the roofing materials and set a date for installation - was done on the agreed date. The crew was here on time and all of them were courteous, worked all day, cleaned up every night before leaving and let us know they would be back the next a.m. - always on time. Five days of roofing and they were finished on the fifth day p.m. Everything cleaned up and you could not tell that they had been there. We would highly recommend this Company to everyone. Out standing Company !!

I sell insurance and have for 40 years I am very particular especially with my own home and have never had to file a claim of my own but did this time I have had a-1 do several repairs always very neat and fair and honest I was so impressed with the complete roof job and the no mess I couldn't even tell they had been there each day when I came home from the office that is so unheard of absolutely the best roofing company I have seen especially for honestly and professional will always use and recommend them in the future thanks pam king nationwide insurance

I called, and was told that it would be four weeks before anyone could come out to my home to look at the damage. Four weeks is much too long, as it will rain before then. They weren't very sympathetic.

They were excellent. I've recommended them to other people. He's very, very efficient. It's hard to compare the price because I didn't have any other person give me an estimate. I was impressed with the individual he was dressed very nicely, had a beautiful truck, very polite and he was very efficient. I was very pleased. I have faith in the program Angie's List & I was impressed with the way he presented himself. He was very professional.

I called A-1 Guarantee Roofing and set up an appointment. The roofer called me and told me when he would be there. He was right on time and up on the roof in no time. After he inspected my roof and attic, he informed me of what he thought was the source of the problem, a nail at one of the vents wasn't put in quite right. He gave me 2 options, and I told him which one sounded best to me. He arrived a few days later and made the repair. There has been at least 3 times when the leak would have appeared. I have not seen a leak since the repair. The billing was sent to me and matched exactly as we had discussed. The 2 people that I had contact with were very professional and friendly.

I never write reviews, as a matter of fact this is the first review I have ever written but I was so pleased with my experience with A1 Guaranteed Roofing I had to write one up so others will know what a great company A1 is. First, I hired A1 because of the reviews on Angie's List. Next, I am an ex-Customer Service Manager for a large national company so my expectations are rather high compared to most. Further, dealing with companies in the construction sector can be intimidating, and rightfully so, especially when it comes to high end transactions like roofing. My experience with A1 Guaranteed Roofing was exceptional, I couldn't be happier. We had a large hail storm that damaged our roof. I called A1 and they promptly visited my home and provided an accurate and informational assessment of the damage. They provided more than ample information to help me decide on what type of materials to use and even helped me sort out issues with the claims adjusters. Their customer service is second to none. From the estimating process to the payment process, everyone there I spoke with was very nice and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The new roofing materials were delivered a day early and their installers arrived exactly when they were supposed to. And speaking of the installers, they were fantastic! Very professional and pleasant to deal with. And the final product looks amazing!!!!! Residential construction projects always seem to have issues, but not when dealing with A1. They have given me hope that there are still great people in that industry to deal with. I will NEVER use another roofing contractor other than A1 and encourage anyone reading this review to call them for your roofing needs. I've dealt with other roofers in the past and they don't compare to A1. I can't say enough good things about them, some of the nicest people I have EVER dealt with and they did a FANTASTIC job!!!!!

I had read several favorable reviews, so I contacted A-1 Guarantee Roofing to arrange an estimate on roofing repairs for a house that I had just gotten under contract and that I knew had roof issues. From the initial call I made, I informed the staff person that I spoke with that the property was a lake property and almost an hour away from Springfield. They stated the location was not an issue and that someone would call me back the next day or two to schedule an assessment. The call back NEVER came, so after a few days I called the office again... then again, and again. Each time I called, the office person was extremely courteous and reassured me that they were sorry and just super busy and that someone would call me right back to confirm an inspection time/date. After 3+ weeks of calling, I made one last attempt and ask who specifically would be calling me... I was told that due to the size and location of the house, it would be Brian that would be calling me back, as he covers that area and typically goes down in that area weekly. Needless to say, I never heard back from Brian, or anyone else... I was very shocked and disappointed in the overall lack of professionalism. The only reason I did not give them a grade of "F" on the categories rated was due to the very courteous office staff I encountered.

On January, 2015, a roof vent began leaking, causing water to drip on my ceiling. Although, it didn't damage the drywall, I could hear an occasional "ticking" sound in the hallway during heavy rain. I performed an attic inspection, and confirmed one of my roof vents was leaking. On performing a review on Angie's List, I contacted A-1, and received a prompt response. The representative arrived and inspected the vent, and then provided a statement of work and materials with a quote. I agreed to the work, an estimated date was established, and work was competently completed ahead of schedule. This included all new stack collars. This past April, two more of the remaining original vents failed, and I requested a quote to just go ahead and replace all of them. The original vents were vinyl. I was provided a quote for replacement of all the existing vents to be replaced with more durable aluminum vents. Again, cost was competitive, and work was completed ahead of schedule. The employee completing the work both times maintained a professional appearance and manner; was communicative; and was well organized. Since these repairs were completed, this area has experienced several heavy sustained rainfalls; and the roof has remained leak-free. This company exemplifies the best when it comes to competence, and executing good business practices.

Excellent staff. They were all helpful, worked hard. The installation crew worked from sun up to sun down and completed the job in record time. They cleaned up all the debris as they went and hauled it off. We could not have been more pleased with this major reroofing job.

A-1 Guarantee Roofing has been taking care of our roofing needs for over 2 years and we're always pleased with their work. We're also happy with the work they don't do --- they don't do unnecessary work. Our screened-in deck leaked because of an ice dam last year so A-1 inspected our roof and sealed a narrow gap in the shingles where the water had leaked into the deck. I asked Jimmy, the owners' son, if we should schedule an appointment to re-shingle the deck. He explained that the conditions for ice dams are rare and sealing the area that leaked will hold just fine until it's time to re-shingle the entire roof in a few years.
