They worked with me on what coverage I would need without overselling. Their bid was in line with my expectation and even though my ground was hard and they had to reroute the main line to find some better soil, they did not charge more than their original bid.

+ -1 moreInstalled two sprinkler zones with master control sprinkler system. Control panel in garage. Had to boar under the back driveway to continue laying system in the back yard. We have (8) zones with 38 heads and (1) backflow meter. We maintain a annual contract with them to turn on the system in the spring & test the backflow meter. They return in the late fall to winterize the system. Overall we have been satisfied with their service.

The rep is courteous and knowledgeable and works with experience. Each rep has been a friendly face to open the door to and I appreciate this!

They came out the afternoon he called and did the service. We will definitly be contracting them for the ongoing sprinkler maintenance.

We have had an annual service contract with them every year since and have been extemely well pleased with their service, service personnel and the cost of the service. Over the years some repairs and modifications have been needed which were taken care of efficiently and economically. In most cases the work could be done within the alloted time of the contract agreement. They always arrive when promised and are very professional and personable when doing the work. We will be renewing the contract with them for 2013 and have included their new service of a mid-year check up.

+ -1 moreExcellant. The system was installed and activated and I was given details on how to operate it. Soon after it was deactivated for winter as advertise and again, we can't wait tillspring to use the system.
Description of Work: I met with their representative and he gave me an estimateon the spot and a quick layout of what was to installed. He had a detailed list of parts and an estimate of total cost with encentives. We agreed ao a price and the system was installed ad proposed and we are waiting for spring tocome to reactivate the system and enjoy a full green lawn all year long. Mother Nature providing of course.

Description of Work: Metro installed our original system 14 years ago and has maintained and updated it ever since. We do extensive landscaping and have an extensive irrigation system. Periodically, as our irrigation needs and landscaping environment change, we have had to add to and revise our irrigation system. Metro is always responsive to our service calls and our needs. Metro's staff is professional. Metro stands behind its work, and if there are problems, they take care of them promptly. Recently, we had an "emergency" on a Sunday, and within a very short time, an off duty supervisor appeared to fix the problem. Metro's charges are reasonable. We highly recommend Metro.

+ -1 moreBecause of the rain, the soil was soft and it was difficult working in many parts of the yard. Repair of the turf and the shrub beds is an ongoing process. It would have been better to have waited a few days to begin the installation because of the wet soil.
Description of Work: First they arrived when they said they would for all of the installation steps. Installed a sprinkler system per my request. On the days of the installation, we had intermittent rain, which made the work site a mess. In addition, there were numerous trees to work around, which seems to have compromised some coverage. Since the installation was late in the season, I've not really had an opportunity to access the preformance of the system. When they carried out the winterization, they discovered a broken connection, which is to be repaired in the spring.

+ 2 moreThe whole process for the irrigation, lighting and all landscaping/hardscaping took less than 3 weeks. They were extremely helpful in meeting our timeline and very professional. All of the landscapers on the team were professional and friendly. They took the time to show us how everything works, how to handle our plants, how to water and how to access the lighting. We have had several plants die due to the extreme heat and drought this summer, but they have a one year replacement guarantee so we'll have those back soon. Nick & his team were wonderful and we highly recommend Metro!
Description of Work: Landscaping in front, side and back yards, irrigation system installation and landscape lighting. Metro installed the irrigation system first, making sure to water the seams to ensure the grass rebounded nicely. They installed a retaining wall, pavers and rock around the plants, mulched the trees and did a beautiful job.
