It went fine. Nothing special at all. I have an older furnace so any heating and cooling person tries to talk me in to getting a new one...to be expected I guess. The worker they sent out was fine. The people who answered the phone (the owners maybe?) were rather brash and aggressive, I can live with that if the work gets done. For the cost I would at least expect a new filter to be put in. Isn't that part of seasonal maintanance? All the other companies I have used supplied batterries for the thermostate and new filter and were less expensive. They are one of those companies who does EVERYTHING, which always makes me think they are a jack of all trades but a master of none.

It was fine. He just came in and he did what he was supposed to do and told us what was needed and what was okay, and that's really what you want.

Interestingly we'd had it checked before by another company who told us the dryer wasn't balanced correctly. Obviously that didn't work. This time I think we've got the issue resolved.

Bob was great. Explained everything as he went along.

They did a good job. The gentleman was helpful and prompt. He did the work and left. Due to the weather we had to reschedule the appointment which was not an issue because I was not in a rush for the service.

Checked all the plumbing and hot water heater

The part for the repair had to be ordered. Both times the person doing the service was on time and very courteous.

Purchased service through Angie's List deals. Service was performed as stated in the deal. It was a good experience. I was shown how to flush the water heater myself (since it should be done every six months) and the general plumbing questions I had were answered. Quotes were provided to fix a couple plumbing problems that were discovered during the inspection. There was no pressure to commit to having the service completed. Overall, I was very pleased.

It turned out very well. The person came on time, he was professional as well and did the job right. He came out on the 14th of November and there were no additional fees.

The two team service team explained all plumbing findings as well as recommendations. I learned from this review and will use this service again as educational and informative for future plumbing activities, as required

The representatives were on time, accomplished in their tasks and made appropriate recommendations that we find in order. They were professionals in their field who knew the course and scope of their duties and how to communicate with their client(s). We would be happy to use their professional services in the future...

I purchased a "service contract" with them for $195 a year, but after purchasing that, it made service calls $39.95 each. Everytime I need something fixed, they will come and repair anything electrical, plumbing, all appliances and HVAC. When I got the stove fixed, the repairman didn't give up and fixed it thoroughly. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had purchased the plumbing inspection deal. Prompt response and on time. Did not try to sell us unnecessary equipment. Felt evaluation was honest and accurate.

He drained the hot water heater until it seemed to stop flowing...and he said there was a big piece stuck inside the water heater and he would have to stop there. He did give me a lot of information about hot water heaters and I got a bid from him on that plus quite a few other items in the house. I got another bid a few weeks later which were 15-20% less expensive than the ones he gave me and also from a professional plumber. He did go over a quite a lot of information concerning what he thought I should do, replace...update...etc. He did check water pressure. Over all, for the $49, I got a lot of information, and bids on items to be done so as to compare that to other bids, so this was certainly worth the cost.

They are a general go to company. They do electric, plumbing, heating and air conditioning. I haven’t done any comparison on pricing. They do have coupons which I appreciate. I have used them for so many years that I really haven’t shopped around that much so I am assuming that they are competitive. Their prices are reasonable. They have always been very pleasant on the phone. They keep their appointments. They call ahead to let me know that they are coming. The appointments usually are within a certain timeframe like 8 to 12 but they do call. They clean up after themselves. I have never had any problem with the work that they have done. When I got the new furnace the salesman explained quite a bit about the options. I took the time I needed to make the decision and he didn’t pressure me.

Would recommend to everyone I know. This company has serviced several of our large appliances, including washer, dryer and dishwasher at a reasonable price and professional service. Saved us tons after hubby just couldn't figure it out and fix it. O.k. he tried but this company came to the rescue...my knight in shining armour!!!

The service call went well. The technician was punctual and professional. The job ended up costing a bit more than I anticipated because I had not thought through the details of the "Big Deal" quite as thoroughly as I could have. The details said that one part was not included in the price, and I did not realize that I would be in need of that part. Still, when I paid for that part separately from my coupon, the price was reasonable and in-line with a quote from another plumbing contractor I had used previously for a different job. I was satisfied with the outcome of the service call and also with the service provider. I would use them again.

The work was fine but the cost was through the roof. I purchased the deal for $650 and it need up costing almost double.

The installation went fine. They were here on time and the new water heater is working. $179 seemed high for simply installing a shut-off valve, but we bought the Angie's List big deal and were stuck if we wanted the hot water heater installed. Their explanation was that they not only had to install the shut-off valve, but had to drain the house. It didn't take them very long to drain the house. To give them the benefit of the doubt, though, I gave price a 'fair' rating, rather than a 'bad' rating.

The hot water heater installation went perfect The toilet installation went well The new furnace took a long time but they did a very good job, The electric hook up for the spa worked out but I am not completely satisfied. All their people are great

I purchased a coupon from Angie's List for the water heater, based on the fact that it was a very good price compared to other prices I had seen for an installed water heater. However, when the installers arrived I learned that my house required a non-standard sized water heater which ended up costing about 25% more. The extra charge for a non-standard water heater may still have been a good price, but I have nothing to compare it to. The install went smoothly and everything worked as expected right away. I was told that I would receive a letter informing me how to schedule a city inspection for the new water heater. After a few weeks, I had to call AAA because I never received the letter. They were able to schedule the inspection right away.

The experience was perfect. The service responded immediately and the plumber arrived couple of hours after the call. He was fast, efficiend and courtious. Answered all questions. There are no complaints whatsoever, just praises!

I had a water heater installed through an advertised Angie's List deal and AAA scheduled the following day and was installing the next day. During the installation, I had the plumber schedule a time for a estimate to repipe the entire house. Steve came the following day and conducted a very thorough inspection and provided an on-site detailed estimate; I scheduled the job with AAA the following Tuesday after Labor Day. Steve and Dave did a great job in just under 5 days, including a complete rip out of existing pipes/outlets and reinstall of new PEX line, two commodes and utility sink. They were prompt and worked steadily each day and took time to explain their work at critical junctions. The new pipes were installed with minimal invasion to existing walls/ceiling. The job was completed on time as promised and passed STL City inspection on the final day. I experienced three small leaks over the weekend once the job was completed; however, I contacted AAA the following Monday morning and Steve returned to make the repairs within an hour and explained each issue in detail. Overall, I am very satisfied with AAA and their plumbing work on my home and would contract them again for any plumbing needs

Service man went to the basement and began to figure on a slip of paper, then told me it would cost an additional $500 for the permit and miscellaneous parts to complete the installation. I stopped him at that point and told him not to continue. Nothing had been done except to figure the additional amount that would be due.

I called into AAA Heating and Cooling inquiring about setting up an appointment to get a quote on a new water heater since I had just noticed that mine started to leak (after 20 years). To my surprise, they where able to send out someone that day to give me a bid on the work. I had mentioned to the service man about the deal on Angies List and he made sure to provide the bid within the terms of the deal making the needed adjustments for additional equipment (expansion tank) and the permit (no surprises there with the original water heater being so old). The service man also took pressure measurements to make sure that I was within an appropriate PSI range without needing a pressure reducing valve since my home currently doesn?t have one (I didn't need one). After things checked out he let me know he could be back the following day to do the installation so I went ahead and agreed to have the work done. Later on in the evening I received a confirmation call from AAA confirming my appointment for the following day between Noon and 4pm. On the following day the service man returned (called before arriving to confirm my availability) and proceeded to do the work. I work out of my basement and I was able to keep my office door open the entire time while he did the work (very quiet process). After the new hot water heater was installed he removed the original water heater and also swept up the working area leaving it in better shape than when he started. He did some additional testing to make sure all of the solder seals were sound then took some time to cover how the new water heater functions. The work was very professional, nice clean pipe work and he even made the needed adjustments for my water feed for the whole house humidifier (which feeds off the same line that goes into the water heater). AAA rating for the work and to the service man (Bob). I will be using them again if I ever have future appliance/plumbing/heating/cooling needs.
