Mitch came out to find out what the problem was with my dryer not heating. Although my dryer had been serviced before, it had never been completely taken apart for service. I'm extremely grateful that he did such a thorough job. We found tons of lint and some had been a little singed. He also inspected my vent cover and told me that this could be the problem and to replace it. As listed above, a bad part caused the issue not to be initially resolved.Par Mitch immediately sent a second repairman out within the hour (great service). Unfortunately, he did not have a replacement part with him, but called to find one for me. (Great job Justin). If this had been the level of service I got from everyone at AAA, I would have rated them like their name-- all A's. But sadly, I had to deal with a rather rude person in parts, Brian. He had absolutely zero empathy for someone wanting their dryer back and told me essentially to stop calling to ask when they would have the part- they'd call me. This was after 1-2 calls. (Apparently, you are supposed to go a few days without a dryer and not worry about it). Hey, that would be great except for the fact that I have Mt. Everest growing in there and a fast diminishing supply in the closets and linen closet. Snippy would best describe him. Not everyone in customer service is like this. Their initial answering service is great. She was personable, responsive, and assist you with what you needed. Their service crew is very professional, polite, and thorough. Service Grade: A+ Their parts guy is rude, condescending, and impatient. Parts Grade: D-F Their front desk is friendly, helpful, and responsive. Front Desk Grade: A+ *Update 07/22/2013* After a great service call, I would love to rate them higher. Their service staff has always been exceptional.The front staff is another matter. I am updating because I called back to let them know of my disappointment with their front office.This did not make much of a difference to Brian. He told me that he's sorry I was not happy, but they weren't going to change anything in regards to how they relate to their customers.He said that it's been working for 40 years so they weren't going to fix it.As this is Angie's list, I think we can be in agreement that this site would not have existed 40 years ago along with several other things we take for granted-- internet, cell phones, computers, DVR's, and... appliances themselves. (Trying to be somewhat concise, I am sure that I left out many other advancements.)While I can understand how they stayed in business so long with great service, they should recognize that customer loyalty determines their future success. Whether they intended to be so or not, they came off as being condescending. This is not only a disservice to customers, but to to the owner of this company and the extremely talented people that work there. So, technicians: A+ Front office: D/F

The buzzer on my store would not shut off. They came out and cut the cord on it for me to shut it off. Their price was reasonable. They were punctual and they knew exactly what to do. I told them what the problem was and they easily and quickly got the work finished.

We called them three separate times and Dana scheduled immediate appointments on the same day of call. Doug answered the service call for each appointment. As requested by us he fillled the unit with freon. He was very knowleagable and since air conditioner unit was appoximately 25 years old he advised us to install an entirely new unit. We asked for a bid and immediately received it. Unfortunately their bid was higher than 2 other bids and we did not give them the contract for a new unit. We were very pleased with their service. Doug was very helpful and we received quick and good service each time we called.

Extremely well. The ice maker works better now than it did when it was 6 months old.

They were fast and efficient. They solved the problem immediately. They were reasonably priced and we did decide to go with a service contract with them.

I use them regularly. I started using them about four or five years ago. I am generally satisfied with them but they don’t have anything going that is outstanding. I am satisfied with the price and with their service. I haven’t had any other work done by them. Their responsiveness and punctuality is very good; I have never had any problem. Their current charge annually is $175 for two visits, one in the fall and one in the spring. I would continue to use them in the future.

The icemaker on my LG was malfunctioning. I called and told them the error code and was assured it could be fixed. They came out and charged me for a service call and reset the fridge, declaring it fixed. I had already done this myself. It didn't work. They agreed to come back out. This time they replaced a fan in the freezer. This didn't work either. The third time they came out, they told me I would need to also replace the motherboard, which was an additional $200. I debated whether or not I wanted to spend that much in addition to the $200 I'd already spent on the service call and fan (which I might not have actually even needed). When I finally decided to have them come out and do it, they told me more than 30 days had passed so I would have to pay ANOTHER service call fee - despite the fact that in the three previous visits to my home they had not fixed the problem and had replaced a part which may not have even needed to be replaced. Additionally, when I called the company to discuss the matter, it took over a week to actually get my phone call returned, despite numerous promises of "a call back the next morning". At the end of my experience, I still have an icemaker that isn't working, have spent $200 that got me nothing, and have a very sour taste in my mouth regarding appliance repair companies. UPDATE: After Angie's List information, the RIGHT technician finally came out, installed the correct part at their cost with no additional fees. At long last, I am finally satisfied with the service, just sad it had to take so much time and effort for the right thing to be done at last.

See above. It went very well. I just thought the cost was a little high, but I have nothing to compare.

I thought that they were too expensive. The reason I called them as because I had them out in July 2010 for my gas range. At that time I was real happy with them because the man that came out and serviced the range gave me a 10% discount for using them. I was happy about that and also because the service charge was reasonable. When I called them for the disposal, their service charge had gone up by $10 and they supposedly could not fix the garbage disposal and replaced it instead. I thought that cost quite a bit and I also mentioned to them that I got a discount the last time because I used them before, but they would not apply that. I wasn’t happy with the price and also since I was hoping to get the same brand, but they did not have it, so they put another brand in. I am not sure I would use them again. I think that they could have changed the part that goes into the sink and replaced it instead.

We called them as we have used them before, and they were recommended to us also, checked out Angie's list. They said it would be $25.00 to look at it, then took that off what we paid when we picked it up. Balance was $41.00. Carried it out and put it in my car. No problems. Very satisfied.

We had a project estimator come out to our house from AAA heating & cooling. We had the estimator through the entire house and wanted an estimate to install a second and third floor system. AC & Heat including ductwork, as there is none existing. Worker recommended ideas and acted excited about the work. He reported he would submit an estimate in a few days. A few days turned into over 10 days. I called the estimator on his cell phone which was on his business to card to just see what he said. He said that we were his top priority but he could not price the unit at this time because he said the prices for the equipment were changing frequently? He said he would let us know when he could estimate the work. Its been over a month. I still do not understand, nor am I interested in ever using this company.

I called them in first because there was a problem in the bathroom done by someone else. The plumber who came solved the problem instantly. I've called him back since to do something else for me. They do a lot of different things, then I called them in for my washer. They have a service contract that is a pretty big bargain for people who need help with various things. Everything is great. I called the plumber specially.

I called AAA Appliance and Heating based on reviews here on Saturday morning and was pleased to be told a serviceman would be at the house the same day to service the water heater. When he arrived he took a look at the water heater and then told me the service call is $68 and that the thermocouple needed replacing and that it cost an additional $108. He replaced the unit and I wrote a check for $174.50, asking why it was so expensive. He was cordial and said that was the going rate. He was in and out of the house in less than 15 minutes. I have to have hot water so paid the bill, but later saw that thermocouples sell for under $10 and found the rates for service repairs would have cost a total of $75 to a top end of $100 so I feel AAA engages in price gouging. I would not use this company again.

We used them before in 2007 because there were two different things wrong with the air conditioning/furnace. We had googled them online and saw that they had been in business for a while. We are new in the area and we didn't know who to go with. We picked them because of location, years of experience and we were able to get through to them on the phone.

They were excellent. They did the job in a good subsequent manner. They were very nice, very reliable, very efficient and nice people. They were very professional and their quality was high. They were fairly priced. I would use them again in the future.

Arrived on time with phone call before which was good. However, they seemed more interested in getting the job done very quickly (normally not bad) than answering questions/concerns.

I used them for two years. I spent $215 on them. Their price was good. It wasn?t a bad interaction. They showed up on time. They worked pretty fast and were very straightforward. They seemed very efficient. They charged my air conditioner with Freon and took care of other problems. I had no complaints. This year I used another company for the work. I just wanted to use a new company this year. I will definitely use this company in the future.

He was very prompt, pleasant, and professional and was finished replacing the valve in under an hour.

Went very well. Tyler was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable in trying to fix our washer. He was also HONEST - he recommended we buy a new washer rather than repair the old one due to a bad cluch and it being 12 years old. He made the whole process easy.

I called and stated I had an ~15 year Tappan double oven gas range (bottom and overhead ovens in one unit). The problems were: 1. gasket on top oven door needed replacing; 2. igniters on left burner had problems; 3. bottom oven thermostat was off;4. timers were making continuous noises. Company said, no problem, we'll come out and take care of the problems. They came out the next day, stated that all parts had been discontinued, gave the bill, and left. Any professional company would have let us know over the phone that it was unlikely parts would be available.

the service man declared the old water heater dead Monday, then two other men came first thing Tuesday to install the new water heater. Installation took about 90 minutes. They workmen left the site clean. They did not install an expansion tank, which I understand is preferred now, and they didn't mention this as an option.

They were in and out in fifteen minutes. Found and fixed the problem right away. They cleaned up after themselves. I would not hesitate to call them again.
