I have used them for years...ever since I moved into the STL area. This last cleaning was not done very well///only one person now comes and I had to have another one come out again cuase the job was not done right the first time. I am disappointed in them...they were always the best but now I will be looking at other companies...they are too expensive not to be top notch and top quality.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of the technician. I was absolutely thrilled with the service! My couch and loveseat look like brand-new again, and my carpeting (which is 19 years old, and had never been thoroughly cleaned before) turned out much better than I expected. I would most definitely use this company again.

They got most of the chemical a certain company had left applied. They did their best to keep the hose off of the soiled carpet, and cleaned it to the best of their abililty. They put a pad down over my black slate flooring so that if any dripping occurred the pad would take care of it, not damaging the floor. They are very courteous, and seem very concerned with doing a great job. They asked afterward to ensure I was satisfied, which I was and let them know.

The person who answered my call for service was able to give me the date and time window that I requested. I received a confirmation call the day before service and was called again the morning of service to give me a more definite time. The technicians arrived exactly on time and went right to work. Said and his partner were very professional and did a great job. This carpeting had not been cleaned in three years. It was heavily soiled and had some stubborn spots. I was very pleasantly surprised with the results of the cleaning.

In summary, Woodard negligently demolished far more wall areas than were reasonably necessary. As experts in this work, Woodard had a duty to mitigate the damage to the premises and not to engage in overkill. I wonders whether, upon Woodard's hearing that this loss was fully insured (which was not the case), Woodard's inclination was to demolish more area the was necessary. Millman's total cost for this loss is in excess of $18,000, not including Woodard's charges. After consulting with its contractors Millman has determined that: 1. Woodard's legitimate charges should be limited to a moximum of $3,000, after deducting amounts attributable to unnecessary work. 2. Woodard's is responsibel for the following elements of Millman's other expenses, i.e., those elements which were directly the result of demolition negligentlyand unnecessarily done by Woodard. He did a good job. The furniture was cleaned, and he was easy enough to have in the house. It was all in one room, so it wasn't very invasive. We did notice a strange chemical smell in our basement that night. We think it was the reaction of the cleaning chemicals with our gas pilots. It went away by the following day. We scheduled this job with them because we'd won a gift certificate at a charity auction. We appreciate that Woodard made the donation to the charity, also!

They are a little more expensive than some of them here, but they are the best in town. They are good on everything except for their price. They are prompt and they come right back out immediately when you have a problem. They also clean oriental rugs as well as do a lot of repairs which a lot of carpet cleaning companies don't do. They have a good reputation in the town. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

The sales associate who worked with me in the beginning was very professional and helpful. He introduced me to the crafts person who would be performing the work, and I found her to be quite knowledgeable. I was told that the damaged end of the rug would be rebuilt to match the intact end, and the work order stated that very clearly. I was told it would take two weeks but that if the work was completed sooner I would be contacted by phone. At the two-week marker, the sales associate called me to let me know the rug was ready for pick-up. However, to my dismay, the rug had not been rebuilt as we had agreed. Rather, it had simply been overcast, which is a $70 job not the $500 job I had hired them to do. The sales associate was very nice and apologetic about the error. He said they would make the completion of my project a top priority. Nearly two weeks later, no word from the company. After calling to check on the progress, I learned that the company did NOT in fact have the capability to make the repaired end match the intact end of the rug. Had I been told this at the beginning of this process, I would not have done business with this company but rather would have sent the rug off for repair elsewhere. At this point, we were $500 and four weeks into this process, however, so I expected the company to come to some remedy. The owner of the company, Charlie Woodard, called me personally. My immediate reaction was one of appreciation, but within a minute or two it became obvious that Mr. Woodward was not calling to apologize or to make remedy. Instead, he belittled me, insulted me, talked over me and insisted that I would pay the full price of $500 for the work, even though it was not done to the specifications we had agreed on when I placed the rug in their care. After paying the bill and picking up the rug, I tried contacting Mr. Woodard again to work out some type of remedy. He refused and told me that he did not intend to do business with me again. And on that point, we can both agree!

They don?t come out, so we take the rugs to them. They are very good and reputable. They are the only ones that I would trust to clean my antique and oriental rugs. It is a family operation.

Due to a move, I had to store an antique sleeper sofa in an environment that was not heated or air conditioned; then I also found out there were mice. I noticed the mouse damage earlier this year and then a week or two ago I saw the mildew damage. I sent an email to Woodard Cleaning and the next day I was contacted via phone. Mary was very courteous and took time to get the details and discuss their services. She was very clear in discussing what could be cleaned and that the mildew might leave some damage spots to the fabric. She also stated that they would not be able to repair any damage but would thoroughly clean the fabric. Mary provided a quote over the phone and said she would be very happy to schedule me for service the following week. I called back the next day and spoke with Mary to schedule my appointment. She said I would be called in the a.m. on my appointment day and would be advised what window of time the team member would be there to do the cleaning. On the day of the appointment, I was contacted and told the team member would arrive by 9 a.m. Byron arrived promptly at 9 a.m. He was very courteous and professional. He examined the sofa and advised what type of cleaning (dry) he would do because of the velvet material. He also discussed use of a mildew treatment with deodorizer. The price he gave for the total treatment was exactly what Mary had quoted. There was no attempt to tack on extra services. Byron was very attentive to protecting the floor area (put down a tarp and moved the sofa on it) and was very thorough in cleaning all sofa surfaces. He spent extra time on the areas stained by the mice nests and the mildewed sections. The whole cleaning process took approximately 1 1/1/2 hours. When Byron was finished the sofa looked brand new. The nap of the fabric was perfect and thankfully the mildew had not damaged the fabric so there was no evidence it had ever had mildewed areas. A day later I was contacted by Andrea with Woodard and asked to please call them to let them know if my furniture was cleaned properly and if I had any questions/issues or problems. I called back and spoke with Ginger who was very polite and very glad that I was happy with the service I received from Woodard. If I need any other furniture or carpets cleaned, I would not hesitate to contact Woodard Cleaning and Restoration Services. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was friendly and courteous. I will also request that Byron do the work as he did a great job on my sofa and was also friendly and courteous.

I have used Woodard Cleaning & Restoration Services for years and I like them very much. They are dependable and they do a very good job. They act very professional. I am a single woman and I feel very safe with them. I am very comfortable with them and I trust them. Once I became their customer, they sent me a coupon for getting discounts. They are really good.

The last time that they were here, I thought that they had some kind of special offer, but I don?t remember getting a lot of stuff done. I didn?t want them to move any of my furniture, and I just had them do the work around it. I think they were recommended by an interior designer. I like them and I am happy with their services.

They have a good reputation and they did a great job. The carpets came out much cleaner than I had anticipated especially on our stairs. They are expensive but they were wonderful too.

They do a wonderful job. They also clean area rugs. Their pricing is competitive. I have had a very positive experience with them.

We called Woodard to schedule the service. They explained the pricing over the phone and answered all of my questions (I had never had our carpets professionally cleaned before). I requested a Saturday cleaning so I had to wait approximately 2 weeks. They told me they would call between 8 and 9 on the morning of the cleaning to tell me a 2 hour window. They called around 8:45 and said it would be between 3:30 and 5:30. They called again around 1:30 to say they were on the way. When they arrived they came in and I showed them where they were going to be cleaning. We talked about spots that were on the carpet, and whether or not they would be able to get them out. The two gentlemen were very professional and very honest with what they thought they could and could not do. They put pads down on our hardwood floors and carefully brought their hoses into the house. I had asked them to do my daughter?s bedroom last because she was sleeping, and they were fine with this. Having never had our carpets professionally cleaned, I was expecting a DRAMATIC change in the color. The man who came to clean the carpets told me this probably wouldn?t happen based on the age and type of wear on the carpet. The carpets do appear a little cleaner, but more importantly they feel cleaner and smell cleaner to me. I would definitely call Woodard again when we need our carpets cleaned.

We have been using them for almost 30 years now. They are very punctual, friendly and professional. The quality of their work is excellent.

I was really impressed with their professionalism and accommodation. That was a nice change.

They arrived on time to pick up the rugs. I showed them where the lighter-colored rug had spots on it, most likely grease dripped by the chef bringing in food from the outdoor grill. The darker rug didn't show any specific spots. They rolled up the rugs and took them away. The rugs were delivered on time the following week. The guys rolled them out, I saw the spots were gone, the colors looked brighter, and they left. That's when I noticed that I'd been checking for spots, relieved that they came out, and totally missed that the light-colored rug was no longer straight! I double-checked my photographs, just to be sure it wasn't a feature I'd not noticed for ten years, and it wasn't. They picked the rug up ten days later. When they redelivered it a week after that, it was still noticeably crooked. I sent it back without delay. This time I talked to the plant supervisor, just so nothing would get lost via the middlemen. He assured me he was giving it his personal attention. He even called once during the week to say they thought they had it straight, but then it twisted again, and so they were "doing it" again. It was delivered again. Still crooked. I gave them one more try--stupid, hopeful me. It came back somewhat improved. I gave up. Update: Woodard called shortly after I filed this report, informed me of their 100% satisfaction guarantee, and refunded my money. That was a nice surprise. But while I am very happy to get my money back, I'm leaving the grade "as is" because my rug isn't "as was," and I do think that others with Oriental rugs should be aware of my experience. I have used Woodard before to clean regular wall-to-wall carpet without complaint.

They do an excellent job at getting the carpets fantastically clean. They are prompt and they call if there is ever an issue about the timing or being late. Overall, they are very professional.

They do great work. My husband handled this. It was fine. If it wasn t I would have known.

Great quality except some damage to a wall corner where a hose rubbed against the paint (no, corner guard was not used on that particular one although other corners were protected).

Service personnel came to assess the carpets, gave me an estimate. Within the next week, the cleaning team came out and cleaned all carpets. Staff was clean, professional and reliable.

They showed up on time to do the work. They were very quick with the work. The next day someone called form their office to make sure we happy with the work.
