Great and very fast

Mr. Williams and his crew spent most of the day Friday and Monday removing and replacing my old heating and cooling systems in my historic St. Louis home with new high-efficiency systems. Joy and Jane came by the house when the work was done to clean up fingerprints and vacuum the floors to ensure the work area and surrounding areas were clear of dust and debris from the removal of old systems. They also brought over my Ameren rebate forms to sign. They make the process easy, as they fill out the forms and do all the work to receive rebates owed after purchasing high-efficiency units. 6/22/15 - Update to initial review. Furnance worked great all winter long. Energy bills dropped signifcantly. Very pleased wtih heating element. Unable to say the same for the cooling unit. First time we turned it on in May and it did not work. Service tech came out and said it had no freon and was not properly hooked up to electrical. Main office said it is hard to calibrate pressure on freon in temps below 65 degrees. That's fine, but we were not made aware of that at the time of intial service. No excuse for the electrical issues. On Saturday (6/20), the unit stopped again. Called again Monday morning (6/22) and woman answering phones instructed me to turn the unit off until the technican got to my home. Three hours later, temp has risen to above 80 and is endangering sensitive and expensive computer equipment. Paid over $5,000 for this system less than a year go and this is the second service call on the same AC unit in the past 10 weeks. Mr. Williams recommended Ruud systems, we had always used Trane in the past, but he recommended Ruud. So far, not impressed with his AC unit. 7/20/15 - Update to previous review. AC unit still having problems. Now, AC unit is producing so much humidity that it is causing the walls, carpets and clothing in closets to feel damp. Went and bought moisture meter to determine possible interior wall issues and found several walls 95-100% humid. Unit has been running non-stop for a week straight. Temps in St. Louis got to 77-78 yesterday morning and evening, unit still runs all day and will not cool below 75. Williams is sending out Ruud technicians today to further assess the situation. Four calls on a system that has only been used for less than three months is ridiculous. This is our first and last experience with Ruud equipment. The irriating issue is that we asked for Trane equipment at the initial installation, but Mr. Williams highly recommended Ruud products.

Mr. Williams and Matt are kind, courteous, efficient and extremely knowledgable. Mr. Williams is a boiler expert with decades of experience. They were very patient with me in explaining how my boiler and radiator system works, and how to keep things running smoothly. They gave me a key and showed me how and when to bleed the radiators, and where to keep the boiler pressure at. Mr. Williams was also telling me ways to keep my boiler in good shape and how to avoid unnecessary work on it. The office people were kind and courteous as well, and it was easy to set up an appointment. They called before they came too. I am very happy with their services and would not hesitate to hire them again. We will be having them check our systems regularly from now on. I highly recommend Williams Heating and Cooling.

I would like to say that Williams Heating and Cooling is an excellent company to work with. Mr. Williams came out to my home several times to explain in details to me and my husband of what would be done on our home. The entire Williams Heating and Cooling team was very professional. They were a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use Williams Heating and Cooling in the future.

Originally I had Matt from Williams Heating and Cooling out to discuss an upgrade from a 3-ton to a 4-ton a/c unit that was advertised in their Angie's List Deal. I was experiencing some issues with my blower unit on my 30 year-old furnace unit and Matt came out and provided valuable feedback on the cost to replace the parts in the old furnace, without pressuring me to either repair the old or buy a new HVAC system - UNLIKE another highly-advertised company I had out to diagnose the issue with my furnace, which not only charged me a $100 evaluation fee, but also pressured me to purchase a new system which was nearly $4K more than the special that Williams was running. Ultimately, I decided to purchase the special from Williams through the Angie's List Deals, and they were able to schedule the appointment to have the new system installed nearly a day after placing the order. Furthermore, Jane and Joy made accommodations to ensure that I received both the Laclede and the Ameren rebates for an upgraded, efficient system. Not only that, they also took the extra step to process those rebates for me. The installation was seamless and took one day and part of another. I am extremely impressed with how willing the company was to work with me, and clearly with the work that they performed. I have recommended them to my family members and will likely use them in the future for my HVAC needs (should there be any). Another nice touch was a hand-written thank you note from the company, which confirms that they truly were appreciative of the business.

This company has superior service and timeliness. Service person was well informed, can explain the issues in non-technical terms and was very pleasant to deal with. I never felt like they are trying to "sell" me something. He took the time to ask enough questions to determine the level of service needed and to explain what to expect in a service call.

Vendor was new to Angie's list coupon process. They did not see that I had ordered coupon until 3 days later. My AC was down, so i got fixed by another vendor. They called me after the fact to explain situation and were very apologetic and courteous. They believe they have resolved administrative issue with coupon service.

The traffic that day was horrible due to bad weather, so I was wondering if they were going to show. Sure enough Matt called me and said he would arrive in 20 to 30 minutes. Matt was very nice and friendly. After installing the humidifiers he showed us how to use them and what needed to be done for maintenance. Since we signed up for a service agreement it is great to know they will actually be taking care of the maintenance. The installation took about 3 to 3.5 hours which is what we had been told. There were no surprises! Matt didn't have the right size filters for our furnace but someone called and dropped them off the next day. So they were awesome with their follow-up.

Williams Heating and Cooling have been handling the service of my system in my home for over a year now. The St. Louis weather alone is enough reason to have my system checked on a regular basis. However, even more important than that is the safety and health of my family. As the temperatures start to drop and people start using their heat it is inevitable to hear a horrible story of a family dying of carbon monoxide poisoning. The office staff is always friendly and helpful and the technicians are also friendly and and do a great job cleaning my ac and furnace and always educate me on what services they are performing. I trust them to make sure that my system is functioning properly and I would gladly recommend them to any of my family and friends!

Joy Williams of Williams Heating and Cooling is awesome. All I had to say is five words: pregnant wife, broken air conditioner. Anyone who has had their air conditioning fail when their wife is six months pregnant knows my pain. Joy answered my call at 4 o?clock on a Thursday and arranged for a technician to come to our house at 8 o?clock the next day and fix the problem. Given summer is one of the busiest months for repairs and we were in the middle of a heat wave, Joy went above and beyond the call of duty. I?d definitely recommend Williams Heating and Cooling to all my friends and family.

My furnace was not working right so I called Williams from a networking group I am in. They came out and checked my unit and found out the person who put this unit in put in the wrong one and it wasn't working right. They made the necessary adjustments and it is working great now. Jade is the salesman who came out. He was professional and had a firm knowledge of what needed to be done and how much it was going to cost. I would highly recommend this company and would share their information with anyone I knew.
