He was prompt & very courteous. Tony suggested repairing my main valve so it wouldn't corrode in the future. I was very pleased with his work.

They were awesome. Yves was very personable and friendly, careful to not make a mess and cleaned up after himself throughout the two day job. He did a great job explaining what he was going to do and also what was done after it was completed so I could explain it to the inspector.

The plumber arrived on time, was very professional and worked very efficiently. Couldn't be more pleased! Very efficient use of my time for a day off work. The quality of work was excellent. Great value for the money.

We had been "stood up" by another plumber, and called LaMartina, who sent someone almost immediately...the same day! The guy arrived on time, did the job, and stuck around to assist with a couple of very small things (toilet tank adjustment, advice on a calcium clogged faucet aerator) until the coupon-defined time was up. VERY pleased.

Came on time. Did a good job. Cleaned up after himself. Pleasant to talk with.

This was my second time using LaMartina. I really like their electronic communications, including e-mail appointment confirmations and texts when the plumber has been dispatched and is expected to arrive (along with a picture of bio of them which helps eliminate the element of an "unknown" person showing up to your house). The repair went fine - he didn't have the part on his truck and had to run back to the shop but was back within an hour and had it fixed in under 1.5 hours. I had the $135 Angie's List coupon and only had to pay an extra $14 on top of that for parts.

they do not leak....... The man was efficient and did the work asked - I no longer have a leak. They are rather expensive - but everything worked out - so I am satisfied.

I have used this company a couple times. They are very nice, professional, competent, and reliable.

Excellent professionalism, told me everything that was happening and what to expect. Even tolerated the questions of my 3 year old. Would use them without hesitation again.

The repair went as expected. They plumber listened to my description of the problem. Analyzed the situation on his own and completed the repair. (A simple repair but professionally completed.)

I contacted LaMartina Plumbing for an estimate to fix my leaking toilet. Tony arrived promptly on the scheduled date and was professional. I received his proposal with 2 lines items reflecting the work we discussed: (1) cost for the basic work and a 2nd higher cost if it looked like I needed additional work. However, there was nothing else included in the proposal. Since I work in the commercial construction arena and have seen arguments regarding the content of contracts, I sent Tony an email requesting clarification on items not specified in his proposal, such as, once they start the work they continue until completed; they are responsible for removing and replacing the toilet and all accessories; they clean up after themselves; his workers are insured; and (#3) - we agree on the condition of the bathroom before they start, even take a photo. Since Tony said they will have to melt lead to pour into a pipe joint, I was concerned they might have an accident and spill it on the tile floor. So I thought it prudent we established the condition of the bathroom before proceeding, even to take a photo, just to protect both of us. Tony responded with: "I?m not sure where your going with item #3 with inspections and photos. We always clean up after our jobs and protect everything with tarps and your job will be completed on the same day. Apparently you have had some bad experiences. I?m not sure we are a fit here. Thank you for the opportunity to work for you, but will will bow out of this one." I emailed Tony that his proposal was acceptable. I related my experience is in the commercial side of construction, and I just needed clarification on these items as it is not addressed in his proposal. Since LaMartina Plumbing is so highly rated on Angie's list I preferred to have them do the work. I did not receive a response back from Tony. I thought maybe Tony was waiting for me to sign and return the contract. On May 9th I sent a scanned copy of the signed contract to LaMartina Plumbing and followed up with a phone call. To date, I have not heard back from them. Of course Tony has the right to refuse work if he so chooses. However, I would think though that Tony would welcome questions regarding the work so as to ensure the potential customer is comfortable before proceeding. I am surprised by his response that "we are not a fit here" because I asked him to clarify the terms of his contract. At a minimum I would think his professionalism would dictate a response to my last email and phone call.

Mike arrived on time, we went over the list of things we wanted done and then he worked steadily until done. He also gave us an estimate on some possible future work. It was a great experience.

He was excellent 1. He was punctual 2. He was polite and courteous 3. He was supportive in his explanations and suggestions 4. He did a great job and in a timely fashion- within 1 hr Here is the bonus - there are issues he identified by ear ( leaking toilet) - it is on our " to do list" With his advice, and based on the success with this job, we have moved it up on our list and we will call you again!

We have used LaMartina twice now. Each time they were very professional, did an excellent job, courteous, helpful and punctual. Plan on waiting almost 2 weeks for a service appointment. A very busy company likely related to quality service.

We live in a very old home with ancient plumbing and so we have seen LaMartina plumbers at least a handful of times in the last two years. This business is a well-oiled machine with an impeccable reputation that is very well deserved. Overall: Communication is stellar. They respond quickly to emails, phone calls and texts. I got an autotext every time a plumber was headed our way which is seriously convenient. Work is unparalleled. Don't know much about plumbing but have to assume that our 150-year old home presents a number of challenges. Price is competitive. Before we discovered LaMartina, we used at least three other plumbers in St. Louis area. LaMartina costs are slightly less than average which I find pretty remarkable given the ease of communication and quality of work.

l Hand held shower connection developed major leak when accidentally dropped. I thought it to be broken water line connection and purchased the repair deal through Angie's. Repairman arrived and within barely couple minutes found simple loose screw on connection was loose; tighten same visually check others & that was it. In addition he also replaced a small thermal valve in water temp hand control without charge! Entire repair visit through in ten minutes. Very friendly gentleman too! Absolutely would use again. Highly recommend.

I needed to replaced the cartridge in my kitchen faucet, but the water shutoff valve was stuck; so I had to call a plumber to replace that. Several otherer watshutoffs were also stuck. The plumber replaced the kitchen shutoff and opened the other three I thought were stuck without having to replace them. He also replaced the faucet cartridge I already had. That was very difficult for him to do, so I'm glad I didn't attempt it myself. He worked very quickly completing all work within 1 hour.

It's been over a month since the work was completed and no leak. It's nice not to worry about a leaking pipe.

Had to wait about 10 days for an appointment, but we didn't have an emergency, so that was fine. Company sent emails, texts and phone calls confirming appointment and technician arrival. Mike (the tech) also called when he was about 15 minutes away. He arrived in the agreed time-frame and got to work right away. He was very professional, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. He replaced our old kitchen faucet and broken sprayer with a new faucet and sprayer (one we had purchased in advance, along with extra water connectors.) Our sink is in a corner and has only one cabinet door for entry to underneath, so I know it was a bit cumbersome for Mike to do the work. But he was finished in under and hour and did a great job. The faucet is now a week old and there's no problems with it at all. He even noticed we had some cold water pressure issues in the sink and adjusted it while he was there. Before he left, we asked him to give a quick check of a bathroom sink that had a squeaking hot-water handle. He was happy to check and said he thought it was the cartridge that was squeaking and would probably need to be adjusted. That faucet is also old, so we'll just have them out again to replace the whole thing, along with some other things that need to be fixed (ie: laundry room spigots, bathtub hot water drip.) We did use the Angie's List Coupon Offer for this service call and we are glad we did. Well worth the price, even without the coupon...but always glad to save a little money. :)

After purchasing the deal and speaking with the company they are not available until May 5th. I need the work completed sooner, so I contacted Angie's List for a refund.

Mike -- our plumber -- did a fantastic job. He was very professional, showed up on time, kept everything immaculate through the installation. Tony LaMartina has a great system. They sent us Mike's brief bio before he showed up. Mike also has all the billing information on an iPad, so the transaction was clear and well communicated. Top notch services. Highly recommended.

Shut-off installation went well, very professional. When he tried to install the replacement faucet we purchased at Home Depot, he notified us that the drain part did not fit the existing sink, something he had not seen in about 25 years. He told us we had two options: 1) return the faucet and try to find one that would fit our sink, or 2) replace the sink. Since the sink was this cheap, plastic thing we decided to replace the sink. Because of his work and additional instruction before he left, we installed the sink and hooked up the faucet, drain, etc. ourselves with no problem. He could have claimed that this would need the expertise of a plumber, but instead he advised us how to do the job ourselves. Definitely would use them again!

Professional and courteous. Asked if I wanted the garbage disposal they have on their service vehicle installed or if I wanted to buy my own and have it installed. I went the buy my own route just because expect to use it very lightly, so don't feel a need for the higher quality model.
