Overall, it went well. They had to order new stems - and the order was delayed. Later, the spout wouldn't for the shower didn't work. They returned promptly and installed a high-quality faucet. The plumbers were very friendly and professional. I particularly want to thank Matt LaMartina - who was very willing to work with me on the billing for this string of work. (Thanks, Matt!)

They were excellent. They are very expensive. I would give them a C for pricing, I think that they were way too high. Quality was great, the guy that came over was great. Responsiveness was good. It was a great service.

Fantastic. We had engaged another plumbing service to try and fix shower controls that are no longer made. They totally screwed it up. Tony LaMartina's sent out someone who knew about our brand of fixtures and made the repair quickly. They also fixed the issues the other plumber caused. Great service. This was not an easy repair. Highly recommend this company.

I called requesting an estimate for installation of two Aquasana filter systems for my house. One system is a whole house filter to be installed on the main water line in my basement, and the other system is a reverse osmosis filter to be installed under my kitchen sink, through the cabinet and floor, and into my basement. My basement is unfinished and provides easy, direct access to the installation sites. I also pre-purchased from the manufacturer, a professional installation kit to go with the whole house filter. I phoned on 7/5/2016, and Mike Dryden came to my home on 7/8/2016 to provide an estimate. The estimate for the work to be done was $850.00 for the filters installed (I had to pre-drill the installation hole in my kitchen sink), and $375 for a pressure regulator (if necessary). I called the city to ask about the water pressure on the main line coming into my home, and the city sent a worker to measure it. My pressures did not necessitate the need for a pressure regulator, but I appreciated that this plumping company was knowledgeable enough to suggest it. I contracted with this plumbing agency, and had to provide $425.00 or half of the contracted amount as a down payment prior to service. Installation was started and completed by Jim Hawkinson in approximately 6 hours on 7/20/2016. I also pre-purchased pex tubing and fittings to achieve my desired layout for the whole house filter installation, and additional tubing for the under-the-counter filter installation. Final price includes additional parts provided by the plumber to achieve the installations.

Mike came out immediately to put together a bid to dig up the pipe and replace it. He was thorough, with a line-by-line description of the work that needed to be done, as well as a description of additional work that might have to be done depending on what they found. His proposal was exactly half the cost of what the larger plumbing firm quoted me, and he was much more thorough and professional in the way that he broke it down. When Yves came out to do the work, he was prompt, professional, and quick. He had the work done in only a couple hours, and he didn't mind walking me through what he found. Again, super professional. Finally, Brad came out to pour the concrete. He did a great job and the work was done quickly. At some point I'll have to dig up the rest of these old pipes, and I'll go with LaMartina.

We had a great plumber, Brad, who came over to do the work. It was nice that LaMartina texted and emailed the information to let you know the plumber was on the way and who to expect. Brad was very knowledgeable about the work to be done and was happy to answer any questions I had along the way. We had supplied the parts for the sink so we were mostly paying for labor, but we are very happy with the job they did.

The employee attempted to snake (clear) the outside drain near the rear door but the water did not go down. Believed a pipe might have been broken. I suggested trying to snake the drain which was overflowing but he was under the assumption the cover was not removable. I explained I removed it in the past with no problems. Once he removed it, snaked it....all the water drained free and clear. Including the outside one. The worker was extremely polite and quick. $160 but the problem is fixed so far.

This was one of the most seamless service jobs I've ever had done on our home. I left a message for Tony on their website through Angie's List. A note came back to me on my phone via text confirming our proposed appointment. I let them know that I would have to leave by a certain time and they called me back the next morning and were able to open up an appointment earlier so it was more convenient for me to leave and ensure that be out of the house on time to get back to work. Rudi, the technician, text and emailed me prior 30 minutes to him arriving. He was very cordial and considerate of our home puttingon protective gear over his shoes and got right to work. I felt comfortable leaving him in our home alone to finish the job after showing him around. When I came home later that evening he completed the job and cleaned up nicely. I could barely tell he was even there. They emailed me a bill which was easy to pay online. The whole experience from scheduling, appointment, repair, payment was seamless. My wife and I both work and getting away from work to have estimates and somebody come in and do a job is really difficult with both our busy schedules. Tony's made this a seamless easy for them modern-day family. We really appreciate and I would recommend them to anyone. I wouldn't bother with calling anyone else next time.

The plumber was extremely punctual and communicated very well at all points during the service call. He told me what he was planning to do, and explained the costs very well. He was friendly and got the job done quickly. There is a two year guarantee on the work, which I feel good about. I will definitely call them sooner next time, instead of trying to fix it myself!

I was kept informed every step of the process being notified that Rudi (the technician ) was on his way to my home by text and email - so I was looking out for him. Rudi arrived approx. 15-20 min. later in a "Tony LaMartina" truck, introduced himself by name and stated his reason for being there and told me he had everything he would need in the truck - I only needed to open the gate and basement door. The entire experience was impressive and the work exceptional. I will definitely use their service again because obvious pride was shown in the workmanship and I will gladly recommend them to others.

Everything went smoothly: punctual, easier to understand, reasonable cost.

Company called me and set the appointment. The tech came on time. Was professional and informative. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Fast work and professionally finished

This was by far the best experience with a plumber I've had in St. Louis. He was knowledgeable, fast, and had all of the parts he needed in his moving van sized truck.

Last year we used Tony LaMartina for a plumbing issue we were having. It went well and we left them an 'A' Angie's List review. When our kitchen sink started backing up a few days ago I called LaMartina right away. They scheduled an appointment for today between 8am-12pm. At 12:30pm no one had showed up and no one from their office had called with an update, so I called them and left a voicemail. An hour later I still hadn't heard anything so I left another voicemail. Around 1:45pm their office called me to let me know that it would likely be another hour before anyone would be at our home. They explained that they had subcontracted the job to another company. I needed to leave the house at that point as they were already two hours past the four hour window they gave me. I asked if I could get the first appointment the following day, a Saturday. I was informed it would be 'overtime'. So I cancelled the appointment.

This company has got it together. Our experience was organized, efficient, and enjoyable from start to finish. Everyone we worked with-- the estimators, owner, plumber, and receptionists --was very professional and thoughtful. All the work was completed in a timely manner. We did receive other bids, and even contacted another plumber (not contracted for our area) to review the LaMartina estimate with us beforehand to make sure everything was fair. He said the bid seemed reasonable so we moved forward with the work and could not have been happier. They made every step of the process very simple and straightforward.

They came as soon as I called them. They contracted this job out to another company as they don't do this work. However, they said this is who they use all the time for this problem and that they stand behind the work. WRONG! The problem came back 1 week later and when I called they said there is no guarantee! $200 is a lot of money for a 1 week fix! I had another plumbing company out who was so much more thorough. They cabled multiple times with different size cutters and they cabled from street to house and from house to street. Everything is fine now. I would never use Tony laMartina Plumbing again and I would not recommend them to anyone. In fact, I would say steer clear of them. They are a sham!

We could not have asked for a better experience. Tony LaMartina Plumbing was prompt, friendly, cost effective, and, best of all, solved the problem. An A+ grade without hesitation. A wonderful job!

I purchased a 1 Hour Special from Angie's List. They called me promptly to schedule the work, showed up on time and knocked it out in the allotted hour.

The plumber, Ives did a great job. On time, courteous, completed the work in about 3 hours. All the work was done professionally and cleaned up afterwards. I appreciated Mike the project manager, who came by to check the work in process and to make sure there weren't any problems. I would definitely recommend them for your next project.. Thanks Scott
