It was fine. Everything worked out well.

The job went very well. We were very happy with the results. Wished we had done it years earlier. Very positive experience. The finished result help to sell the house very fast.

Before I purchased the deal, I spoke with them about the tub we had - a cast iron tub that was glazed in a pink color. We wanted it glazed in white. I texted them photos of the tub prior to purchasing to make sure they could do the job, which I appreciated. During the course of our remodeling we had to pull the tub out completely so we didn't use the deal.

We are really happy with our new shower. Jeff and Frank were really helpful with our tile color selection and picking out the drain valve replacement kit. The plumber and tilers did and excellent job. We are very pleased with the results and would use The Tub Company again.

Except for the odors/ fumes, which they did all they could do to minimize, it was all done well and within the scheduled time.

I Asked Angie's List for help in finding a provider that could replace 4 damaged kitchen tiles. They provided me 3 names and after reviewing reports I decided to try Tub Company. I sent email with pics of the tile and in a day or two received a call from Jeff, the owner. I explained I had replacement tiles and original grout. He asked a few questions but felt the pics provided enough info to give a bid over the phone. I agreed and we set up an appointment. Eli showed up. He was very professional and courteous. He did state the repair would kick up a lot of dust as grout would have to be cut with grinder. Jeff had already alerted me to that over the phone. Importantly I did express my concern about limiting the dust as best as possible. Eli really did do a good job of sealing off the area as best as he could with plastic. He also covered the kitchen cabinets, opened window and placed a fan in it to draw as much as possible outside. He also used a grinder that had some sort of vacuum to draw as much of the dust as he could. Eli replaced three of the tiles and was able to patch a small chip in one tile so it did not need replacing, thereby saving me one of the few replacement tiles I had left in case I need a future repair. Can't tell where chip was. Good match. He set the tile and then let it sit overnight to get a good seal. He then came back next morning and grouted. I can't believe how much better the flooring looks in the kitchen. I guess we just tolerated the cracked tiles and got used to it. My wife and I are very pleased with the job Tub Company did.

They were able to do the project earlier than planned due to a cancellation due to snow and that worked well for me. There was no mess left and like I said, it looks wonderful.

When purchasing this "Big Deal" I expected there to be extra costs, and didn't have very high expectations about the results. The technician was very professional and obviously experienced with tub refinishing. He made sure there was plenty of ventilation, and he protected the areas around the tub so they were not damaged. There were no additional expenses, and the tub is beautiful. He also did a great job caulking around the tub. I could not be happier with the service and results. I will absolutely use The Tub Company again if ever needed.

The process took about 6 hours. The young man who did it was a very nice guy. The smell was awful, but we knew it would be. The tub looked much better when it was completed. The only drawback thus far is that there is one tiny spot where it doesn't look like the shiny finish adhered and there is a chip in the surface from something falling (very lightweight, but chipped nonetheless). Oh, and the bath mat situation (not their fault). You can't use a regular bath mat after this process because the suction cups will lift the paint surface. We finally found something that helped eliminate slippage but it isn't as workable as a regular bath mat. I don't feel as secure as I did on the old mat. I have not yet contacted the company to ask if there is something we can do about the small dull area. It isn't very noticeable. Also haven't asked if we can fix the chip. Most of the time the tub looks amazing, the only time we can see the many pre-existing defects (with the original, 90 year old badly beaten down tub) is when it is early morning and the sun is shining directly into it. I would definitely use this company again.

Booked by phone about 5 days before the service was done. He arrived at 8am, as promised, and stayed until about 2pm. He did a good job keeping dust under control while stripping, and masked the surrounding tile effectively. The finished job looks quite neat, and he did a good job with the re-caulking, as well. The problem with reviewing this service is that the key question is the durability of the finish, and of course I don't know that right now. I had this tub refinished previously, and the finish lasted only a couple of years. This company was more expensive: If my new finish lasts longer, it's money well spent. I will try to remember to update this review in a year or so to comment on whether the finish lasted.

He started around 8am and finished in 2/12 hours. No extra charges and the tub looked great.

The tech was friendly and got to work right away and the job looked pretty good when he left. Unfortunately with the other bathroom remodeling I have not used the tub much. I did spill some tile cleaner on it and it left permanent dots in the finish and I did scrape it with a piece of wood already which shows. Time will tell how well the refinish will hold up.

Very pleased. Purchased a Big Deal coupon in December. Called The Tub Company to come out in March. They were very polite on the phone and very easy to work with. Scott arrived on time, was very professional and was very interested in doing a good job, making sure that I was happy with his work. Great company to work with AND my 63 year old bathtub looks brand-new! Great job, guys! This was a great value because of the Big Deal coupon but I would have been happy with the result even if I'd paid full price.
