Terminix - Saint Louis -Termite & Pest Control

While replacing our concrete patio, the workers discovered some termite damage behind a step they were replacing. The location was not accessible before the concrete step was removed. It was old damage and there were no signs of termite activity. We had our house treated for termites years ago and have maintained a service contract with Bruce Terminix ever since. They provide annual inspections and guarantee protection against termite damage. I called their office to tell them about the newly discovered damage. They sent a man to our house within an hour. He inspected the damage and confirmed that there was no evidence of active termites in the area. He recommended re-treating the soil that was disturbed by the patio removal. Here's the really good part. When the concrete contractor said that they planned to begin pouring the new patio at 7:30 the next morning, the Terminix man said that he'd be there at 6:30 to treat the soil along the foundation and in the patio area. 6:30 AM! He recommended replacing some of the wood after he completed his work. The Bruce Terminix man arrived promptly at 6:30, as promised. He finished his work before the concrete workers arrived. The actual bill for the chemical application was 25% less than the original estimate. The cost was much lower than if we did not have the maintenance contract, which does not cover reapplications required when treated soil is significantly disturbed.

The salesman was very knowledgeable and gave good prevention tips when he came to inspect our property. We chose the treatment that best fit our needs and scheduled a time for the service to be completed. The serviceman arrived on time and quickly got to work. He was thorough and efficient and completed the job exactly as it was described to us.

They were way overpriced in comparison to the other estimates I had. The worker that came out was very professional, and he also followed up with me. Other than the price, this company seemed fine.

They guarantee all of their work. If we ever have a problem, they come out and take care of it right away. They are very friendly and always show up on time.

They are great. They call ahead of time to let you know they are on their way. They will schedule the appointment, and call you a couple days before to confirm the appointment. They did the inside once, and now they just do the outside and the garage, and we have not had any bug problems since.

They are outstanding as far as showing up on time and responding to my calls.

We have used their services for 20 years. They do a pretty good job overall. They always arrive on time although there were a few times in the past when they just showed up without calling. They needed to get into the garage to check the bait traps and it was a problem doing so. I do trust their work and know that if there is a problem that they will come out at no extra charge and make it right.

Terminix has kept the same tech servicing my house all these years and I really like that. I've been quite happy with their service though they have changed their methods somewhat. I do not think that they are as thorough as they once were. I'm hoping the quality won't change as well.

They are very professional and do a very thorough job. They notice problem areas and treat them before I notice them. They are very reasonably priced and very reliable.

They always call the day before they are going to come so I know not to make plans for the day. They are always very polite and do a great job. I am on a one year agreement but I pay them every months. I pay them while they are here.

I really appreciate the fact that they call or leave notes to communicate with me. We did have some trouble with a tech finding cracks and holes within our home however they didn't follow up with me on that issue or tell me where they found it. I am glad that we got that issue resolved and I am pleased with them overall.

What I liked the most about them was that they were very professional and timely and they were always very polite to me. I paid for the installation and one year treatment, but I think I might need to get an annual service in the future as well.

They were very thorough in their inspection and treatment. They were knowledgeable and explained in detail everything that they did. They gave me hand outs to read that explained it as well. They were very professional and did an excellent job. I think their prices were very reasonable and plan to get a yearly service agreement with them next year.

We weren't getting the customer service that we wanted. They wouldn't respond and they would just call to come out whenever they felt like it. There was no personal service. Everything was strictly automated. We needless to say canceled the service and will not be using them again. We were paying quarterly for the service.

Company is very responsive to customers. They perform periodic extermination for both the outside and inside. I have no complaints on their periodic extermination. They I also have the termite bait system. The company comes out periodically throughout the year to check the baits. However, they do not check the baits in the winter (this information is not given to customers before they sign the agreement).

They are always punctual to the apointments set, and very nice to work with. If I have a problem they are quick to respond. I haven't had ants since they sprayed.

THE TERMINIX REPRESENTATIVE WAS PATIENT, RESPECTFUL, AND MORE THAN WILLING TO ANSWER QUESTIONS.

BRUCE TERMINIX WAS ON TIME AND LET ME KNOW WHEN HE WAS THERE AND READY TO GET STARTED. HE SPRAYED THE YARD AND WENT OVER A FEW THINGS TO HELP KEEP THE ANTS AWAY. THEN HE SPRAYED THE HOUSE AND GAVE ME SOME INSIDE TIPS AS WELL. THEY DO A WONDERFUL JOB.

THEY CAME OUT QUICKLY TO INSTALL THE SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM WAS VERY EFFECTIVE IN GETTING RID OF THE TERMITES. THEY CAME AND REINSTALLED THE SYSTEM AFTER WE HAD A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT.

WHENEVER I CALL THEM THEY RESPOND. ALL THE TECHNICIANS ARE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL. THEY COME WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO COME. THEY GO THE EXTRA MILE TO ACCOMMODATE MY SCHEDULE.

WE CANNOT COMMENT ON THE QUALITY OR EFFECTIVENESS OF THEIR WORK AS THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSTALLED FOR ONLY A MONTH AND IT WILL TAKE SEVERAL MONTHS TO RID THE HOUSE OF THE TERMITES. OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THE COMPANY HAS BEEN VERY GOOD, SO FAR. EVERYONE WE HAVE DEALT WITH IN THE COMPANY HAS BEEN VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THEIR PRODUCT.

THEY INSTALLED UNNEEDED TERMITE CONTROL TUBES DUE TO A WRONG PEST DIAGNOSIS. I CANCELED MY CONTRACT AND THEY SAID THAT IN A WEEK OR TWO SOMEONE WOULD BE OUT TO TAKE THE TUBES OUT. THAT WAS APRIL 20 AND THEY ARE STILL THERE TO THIS DAY.

NO TERMITES OR DAMAGE IN EVIDENCE SINCE FIRST TREATMENT. MEN WHO DO THE ANNUAL INSPECTIONS ARE PROFESSIONAL AND THOROUGH. THEY INSPECT OUTDOOR FOUNDATION AS WELL AS GARAGE AND BASEMENT.

SERVICEMAN WAS THOROUGH AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. HIS INSPECTION FOR TERMITES WAS MORE THOROUGH THAN I EXPECTED. HE POINTED AREAS OF POTENTIAL PROBLEMS AND SIGNS TO LOOK FOR POSSIBLE TERMITE ACTIVITY.

THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROMPT. THEY CALLED BEFORE THEY CAME AND CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY EXPLAINED THE PROCESS TOO.
