Description of Work: Annual contract to inspect home and make recommendations. |In past they have honored the repair insurance when termites ruind a wooden outdoor deck.

Description of Work: We've used Terminix for years and they did a better job at keeping passout in our previous service with Orkin did. The bag grade I'm giving them, in the reason I'm canceling my service with Terminix has to do with our direct knowledge of what I considered to be severe ethical issues with the way the company treats its employees. My brother-in-law was a service provider for them out of the same local offices, and work very long days and on weekends to keep up his route. His route included some very dangerous areas and that he did his job. One day when spraying down below of porch he experienced a severe head injury. Since that happened - on the job, this company has done everything they can to avoid paying for his Workmen's Compensation. I own a business myself and I understand what Workmen's Compensation is for - it is for when people are injured on the job and they depend on it for food and housing in their livelihood - Terminix could have cared less about this and treated this man that worked 60 and 70 hour weeks for them, often in very bad areas, like he was pulling some sort of a scam. They should be ashamed of themselves. I hope that Angie's list leaves us up and recognizes that rating companies is not just about rating the service to their customers but that how they treat their employees is critical to well-rounded service. And if a company can't treat its employees right how can I trust them as a customer to be fair to me if I have an issue.

Description of Work: They sprayed completely both inside and outside the house and have done so monthly for 20+ years. They are prompt and professional with exceptionally friendly and helpful service people. Wish I could say the same for my other vendors.

Description of Work: This is one of 5 firms I contacted for an estimate on temite/pest control services. I decided not to contract with them because: -There was no inital work included in the contract; work was only performed on the detection of termite activity. -They subcontracted their work to other firms -They a disproportional number of complaints reported by the Better Business Bureau. Although the complaints were considered resolved by BBB, I read seveal of the actual complaints and there appeared to be a pattern of unresponsiveness and failure to meet contract obligations. Merely returned the customer's money was not a satisfactory resolution, in my opinion.
