They have been great to work with. Tennant Lawn service has done a great job. They are extremely thorough with their grass cutting , trimming and clean up.

Tennant did a great job and was the low bidder on the job. I asked Tennant to sod the lawn before the ground froze for the winter. Despite a wet December, Tennant diligently called the sod farms until they got the sod. Tennant sodded the lawn in early January, before the spring rains would have made a mess of the yard. The sodding has taken hold and worked out great since then. Tennant also finished off a section of drain pipe.

Very poorly. I asked five times to blow the driveway and it was never done.

Perfectly. The workers accomplished everything within 2 hours, and the cost was very reasonable. I did have to wait for the work a bit longer than I anticipated, but I was extremely pleased with the overall project. I used the new feature of Angie's List to describe the work I needed done and waited for a company to respond. Tennant responded quickly and ended up being the only company to respond. I feel fortunate.

Everything went well - did what was offered. Professional and friendly.

Tennant is excellent to work with. They came and designed new landscaping and gave us an estimate quickly and installed the work in a timely fashion. We had them come back and do the monthly lawn care and maintenance after that. They are a dream to work with. They continued to maintain the yard and landscaping after we moved, before we sold the home. Kept up our curb appeal and helped us secure a buyer. Great company!!

They require a 24 hour cancellation notice. They showed up a day earlier than usual, so I didn't get to call before the 24 hours. They charged me anyway, without mowing my lawn.

I have just begun using the irrigation system as it was installed during the winter months. Jim who planned, installed and did spring start up is nothing short of an artist. First we have an oddly shaped corner lot, second, I put in various plots of gardens in my front yard area, which required a lot of planning. Jim hit the mark as far as coverage of all my odd areas. Then he installed for turf irrigation in my back yard area, being sure to water some small garden areas I had put in. The Hunter Pro-c controller is as easy as setting a clock and has enough programmability that during summer months I can expand my programs if I wish. Jim drew by hand a map of heads and connections also including trees and bushes growing in each area. Cannot say enough about the responsiveness of the front office and the dedication of Jim and the crew getting the job done during difficult weather.

The year started out good, they were very responsive to our calls and emails, and we got a discount on the price by pre-paying. The biggest issue we had with them is we have an uneven hill in our back yard, and they wound up killing patches of grass on the hill, and leaving nice large areas of dirt. A push-mower should have been used, but based on how the yard looks now, it is clear one was not used. When we asked them to fix this, they just put a sprinkler in our yard for a few days - no seeding, no fertilizing, nothing, so then we just had a large patch of mud. In addition, by pre-paying, we needed to make sure that they actually mowed when they said they did. There were times they left an invoice saying that they had mowed, but it looked as if they had not. By the end of the summer, we were happy we did not have to deal with them anymore, but now we are left with large patches of dirt which we have to pay to have fixed through reseeding, fertilizing, and more.

I scheduled an appointment for estimate.. company came out gave me a good quote, set a date for removal, showed up on set date and removed stump. Good price, punctual good communication. Much appreciated.

Contacting them was easy and they provided me with a contract and payment options. After working with a service where there was no contract, no accountability and no payment options, this was very refreshing. I've been nothing but happy with all of the services they've provided to date. My lawn has never looked better.

They come and mow the lawn once a week. They usually come on the same day each week. They do a good job. One time I noticed they were making a rut by sending the mower along the same track every time, so I went out and talked to them about it and now they have stopped doing that, so that's good. The workers are mostly Spanish-speaking but it is easy to get in touch with the locals who run the operation, by phone or email.

Weekly lawn service is excellent. Monthly flower bed weeding, etc. has been great too. Office staff is easy to work with and very well organized.

Tennant ripped out old plants, weeds, mulch and a tree that was not growing very well in it's location. They used pavers installed on end over a rock base to outline plant bed, installed new rose bushes, Japanese maple tree, Weigela Dark Knight plant, Trimmed up boxwoods. John Gillick and Kevin Burkot were and extremely helpful very professional in the design and planning of the project.

They are very quick. They came, found what had to be done and were gone before we knew it.

Timely response to a request for uan estimate. Answered all my questions about the service. I've had the company cutting my lawn all summer. They are quick; they come regularly each week; their work is quite acceptable. We have a rather large back yard with lots of trees to trim around, and the price is a bargain for a job well done.

They did an excellent job. The guy, Kevin, was very personable and professional. He was very prompt as well.

They did a great job; all the request service was performed completely. If I need a large amount of yard work done again, I will call them first. They seem a little more expensive compared to other providers, but the quality of the work was high, and the small price premium was worth it.

Friendly service. Had a follow up issue which they worked for no additional cost. I plan to use them again.

Tennant is the best lawn service I have used. They are thorough, fast and very responsive.

Tennant gave us the lowest bid for lawn mowing weekly at a house we were selling. Others wanted at least 50 dollars for a regular sized lawn. That service was good. I gave a C for responsiveness because we had an estimate for replacing a retaining wall planter at our house from Tennant and never received the price via email when we were told we would get a response in a week. No follow up either to check if we received the estimate.

Overall pretty happy. It took 2 weeks instead of the planned one, but we got through it. And, the sod has come in beautifully.
