Work and project went very well, workers were diligent and cleaned up nearly all of the mess. I am a bit OCD so found a few items in the lawn that needed tending to. However, word to the wise, not everyone who says they understand and speak english actually do so. (this goes for any contractor, now just this company) So, to be sure, if you need specific things done right the first time, be sure to discuss in detail with the Superintendant who will communicate with the workers. If dealing direct with workers, explain and then watch to be sure they undersrand your wants and needs. Would definitely hire this company again. This was the second project they did fo me in the last year. Good work and reasonable pricing.

I wanted to edit my original review but either I'm not allowed to or I don't know how. Tennant did call me back just over a week later and emailed me a bid the very next day. Unfortunately, with the current COVID-19 situation and uncertain finances, I've put the project on hold. But, I give Tennant Landscape Solutions a thumbs up.

They did a great job and workers were nice and considerate.

Tennant did a design and install for the front of our house. They removed old plantings and really changed our look. They were fantastic and easy to work with, despite COVID. They also recommended and put in a French drain that solved a drainage issue we had I would strongly recommend Tennant and plan to use them when needed. Top drawer team

I did not actually get to use their services but was very pleased with the effort they made to review the job and bid it. If they had been available during my timeframe I would have used their services. I have recommended them meantime, and meant to write a review earlier.

I have tried several lawn care companies over the years with little success. But when I found Tennant Lawn Service that all changed. I want a company that is reliable, flexible, reasonably priced, and does a good job every time. The only involvement I want in the process is paying the bill. This is definitely Tennant. They've been taking care of my lawn since Spring of 2019 and I have never been disappointed. They come when they're scheduled and are flexible enough to change the day or skip a week if I need them to. They have taken care of my lawn, trimmed my shrubs, and are now cleaning up the leaves that are everywhere! The best part is when they finish a job they haul off all of the mess. My yard looks great - even my neighbors have noticed. Their prices are reasonable - cheaper than I was paying previously. Great job, cheaper price - win, win!

It went wonderful. John Gillick came to talk to us about what we wanted went back to the office and within a couple of days I had the pictures and plans of what plants to put down. All of these were up for review, so I asked him to come back and explain some of the stuff to us. Which he promptly did. He then drew up a subsequent plan with some changes we discussed and we accepted. Paid our down payment and were told they would be starting in 1 wk to 10 days. It was a week and the workers were here at 8 a.m. on Monday and were finished at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. They were very nice gentleman, they worked hard the whole time and they cleaned up both days after themselves. I would give them all 5 GOLD STARS all the way around.

We are only a few of weeks into the season, but all is great.

Overall satisfied. There were a couple patches left uncut in the back but grass was very high. I did not expect them to edge the sidewalk and driveway. That was a pleasant surprise.

What was good-fertilization treatments really improved lawn, any time there was an issue they came back and made it right. Very thorough with leaf clean-up. What was bad-there were issues often (overbilling hours and materials, tearing up the fence, cutting grass with what looked like a dull blade, leaving grass clippings behind, throwing sticks over the fence or leaving them in piles in flower beds, leaving gate open so dog escaped). My main issue (why I did not use them the following year) was how the yard looked after weekly mowing. It never looked nice...the grass looked like their mower had a dull blade, grass clippings all over yard, sticks in piles everywhere. I got tired of calling them.

I was told the tree needed good, weekly watering and should be fine - and was charged nothing.

The project end d up beautifully, with many compliments from neighbors. I recommend speaking with John Gillick, he was a delight to work with!!
