TechRescueStLouis.com offers OnSite computer service, support, and repair professional field technician service to the Greater St Louis area. Remain comfortable and secure at your home or business. Over two decades of experience in providing clients with personal attention and genuine full service. Tech Rescue does not service via remote access. It only provides a genuine human technician at your location. While solving your technical issues, I listen closely and work responsively to earn your trust as well as your business. Billed time begins upon arrival, with a 1-hour minimum charge, thereafter billed by quarter hour intervals. Payment is due at conclusion of any service visit. TRSTL accepts Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, checks and cash.

Description of Work: The first hour he said he just examine the computer then the extra time start. I paid for 3 to 4 hours and then I had to buy a special envelope and pay the post office to send the master disc to him. He did a good job I just didn't know about all the hidden fees.

Description of Work: Overall, he cleared up a few issues I had on 2 laptops and gave advice on home PC. But I couldn't get past his lack of professionalism, when, instead of admitting that he didn't really know about the specific computer virus (or doing his homework ahead of the home visit, since I had told him of the issue ahead of time), he asked to use my bathroom, and tried to cover up his phone call to a friend (that I assume he thought might be able to help him with info on this virus) by repeatedly flushing the toilet and loudly opening and slamming shut the doors to my medicine cabinet and drawers! I thought that was so strange that by then I just wanted the guy to finish and get out of my house! Also, even my husband commented that the guy smelled bad. This was only my 2nd use of someone from Angie's List - first one was fine, but frankly, this second service has me wondering about Angie's Lists ratings now, since I thought this Co. had good reviews?

Lee was responsive. He was on the road and pulled over to take my call. Even though he didn't perform services, I'd call him again in the future.
Description of Work: Provided consultation regarding a stand-alone Dell monitor. Informed me that the cost to repair would exceed the cost & that I'd be better off buying a new one. However, he suggested I check out the warranty first.

As a small retail store, we rely completely on our computers to ring out customers as well as run the day-to-day business. I arrived Saturday morning to find that I couldn't access ANY customer information or history, or complete transactions, much less run credit cards. And... it was a Saturday!! If we don't have our computers running, we must resort to writing and computing all orders by hand, which slows things down immensely! Knowing the value of customer service, we strive to make sure our patrons are not only treated well, but expeditiously too. In other words, it's a huge deal if our customers have to wait! After a short phone call, Lee arrived within an hour from the other side of town and rectified the situation quickly. He was able to retrieve our customer information from the crashed hard drive and we were up and running in no time. Lee was professional, knowledgable, prompt and quick. We'll definitely keep his contact info close at hand!

Mr. Fischer not only came and picked up my laptop but also returned it the next day and only charged me for a consultation since he was unable to repair the computer (it was unrepairable). He was prompt, friendly and courteous. Also, he had quoted me a service hourly fee of $70 but only charged me for the consultation. I will definitely call again if needed.

Lee came out on a Sunday afternoon and spent about three hours hooking up the printer and checking everything out. I needed specifically to start scanning documents and he showed me how to do that. He gave me some good tips on search engines. I will call him again if needed!

Service was wonderful. Quick turnaround and I had the computer back up and running.
