They came and assessed what was needed. The tech bought the drywall and materials needed. He patched it on one day.

I called SuperDave, and he came out on Monday to give us a bid. We appreciated that he honestly told us which jobs he didn't feel qualified to do (tuckpointing and replacing a horizontal rubber roof). We accepted the bid on Tuesday, and the work was completed by Thursday. He and his assistant did fabulous work. The bedroom ceiling required pulling down and replacing a lot of plaster. It now looks brand new. They not only cleaned up after themselves, but also cleaned up other areas around where they were working. Also, we really appreciated being able to pay on Paypal. The whole process was quick, easy, and very high quality. SuperDave is aptly named!

I am in the process of getting a new kitchen installed. My cabinets are already in place and I will be getting a new counter installed on the 24th. The only problem was the built in 40 year old yellow Formica window sill under the large kitchen window that would certainly not match my new granite counter.. I tried to use a Dremel on it but was terrified of screwing it up so yesterday I got on Angie's List and started leaving emails with handymen to explain my issue. I reached out to a few but couldn't get any definitive answer. Super Dave contacted me to ask for a picture of my window and after seeing it, proceeded with advice on how my husband and I could do it ourselves to save money. I told him we weren't very comfortable with that idea and were more than willing to pay. He then asks if 7 am today is fine and I agree. He got stuck in major traffic this morning and even called me to let me know. He spent approx 2 1/2 hrs completing the project and clean up process an we couldn't be happier. It's such a relief to get this job out of the way several days earlier than we had hoped. We are very pleased with Super Daves skills and would definitely use him again as the need arises.

SuperDave does it again! Exterior of 1930's home looks brand new! SuperDave and team have been doing work for me since 1997 and they always exceed expectations. SuperDave treats my home like it is his home. The SuperDave crew did an excellent job of prepping my home for paint ...thorough bleach spray and powerwash, scraping flaking paint and filling cracks / addressing mortar issues, priming any bare wood or brick. The team then rolled on a heavy coat of premium Sherwin-Williams paint onto all brick surfaces. brush painted the fascia / window frames, shutters, front door and repaired / painted my sunroom. Dave very closely monitored the weather and refused to risk painting when rain was forecasted. He and team worked a long day (6:30 to 5:00) on the final Saturday to finish up before my landscaper arrived to do work on Sun. I would recommend SuperDave to everyone that wants a high quality job at a fair price.

SuperDave was available almost immediately. Others I contacted were not available for a month or more! They were very professional, and did a great job. They cleaned up thoroughly when they were finished, and our 35 year old deck looks brand new!!! They told me up front that they would move everything off of the deck prior to cleaning, but I would have to put things back (the deck took two days to dry).

Super Dave was super! He and his worker completed all the work in one day just like he said. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves and the work looks terrific. I couldn't be more pleased. Will definitely use him again.

Super Dave replaced all my basement windows after someone tried to break in with bubble glass that you can't break through. He is truly a professional. I totally trust him at my house if I'm not there. He even brings bones for my dogs and plays with them.

SuperDave was fantastic to work with. He responded within a half hour to my initial email and was just as responsive and available as he scheduled and completed the work. He finished everything as promised and even mulched the two beds in front of the newly painted porch to really complete the job. I plan to hire him for other work around the house and another bigger porch project in the back of the house. He is really awesome.

Super Dave thoroughly cleaned the deck (looked better after just that cleaning ) and once it was fully dry a couple days later he and his helper sanded the entire surface and removed litter that was trapped between deck boards before applying a new soaking coat of stain and sealer. Looks almost new and the light rain today just beads on the wood surface. (second picture) My lesson learned is to keep outdoor structures in top condition with periodic maintenance. Super Dave made fast work of the project.

The work was performed excellently. They are very prompt, professional, flexible and pleasant. With some of the electrical items, the install was challenging, they worked with us on options, and it turned out great. They arrive on time, work until it is completed, clean up the work areas, and are very respectful of our house and the items in it. A very good experience!

The weather was a perfect day for painting on Saturday. They painted all four porch columns, making them look brand new. The color Dave chose was a perfect match to my house. My front door was also painted along with all the trim around a palladium window and caulked around the decorative glass that surrounds my front door. Dave and his partner are highly professional and knowledgeable about home issues. I had other questions about possible future projects and he was able to always have a full explanation for the problem. I know he is a busy man but I will always wait for an opening in his schedule rather than hire someone else who can do the work sooner. You won't get better service!

Dave and Charlie were great. I would highly recommend them and will use them for sure in the future.

SuperDave is absolutely great and gets my highest possible recommendation. He is very prompt, friendly, fairly priced, and does excellent work. He got to the house very quickly, actively listened to all of our projects and worked up an itemized proposal for the work within one day. He then began work the day after we signed the proposal and completed the projects really quickly. We had a slight weather delay, but even then, he was at the house as soon as possible and finished everything.

Dave, Charlie and Eric arrived on time, (and Dave sporting a flat tire, but I'll let him tell you about it) even with the snow we received. The job was constructed as designed, and at the bid. They took good care of our home, laying down tarps to protect the flooring, and completely cleaned up after the job. The workmanship was excellent! In addition Dave helped me move furniture around in the garage to help me make room for the cars and other stuff. I have a 3 part project, and with this start on phase One, I will be moving forward with Super Dave for parts Two and Three in the coming weeks. It was a great experience and these guys are at least as good as their A rating, maybe even better. Hard to go wrong with Super Dave!

Charlie and Dave both came to do the job, and I couldn't been happier with the results. The painting was perfect and very neat, and they were both very pleasant to work with. The price was a very fair price too! They were quick, but did the job. Would definitely use them again!! Thank you Charlie and Dave!!!

He does a very good job! He was very careful and very accommodating. If he cant do something, he will find someone else who can complete the job for you. He always clean up after himself and is prompt when he comes. I would recommend him to anyone.

He was able to do all the work in just a few hours so I didn't have any downtime with the concession stand.

I bought a new porch light with a motion detector for my mother because her porch was not well-lit. To complete the gift, I needed someone to install it. I thought of Super Dave, who has helped me before, and I sent a message to him through the Angie's List website, asking if he did small jobs like this. Within a short time, he responded that he did and he quoted a price. I responded that I wanted him to do the job. He responded that since the following day the weather was predicted to be warm (I'm writing this in January), he could install the light fixture then. He arrived the next day (a Saturday) when he said he would and he was very personable, as always! He installed the fixture with no problems, and made sure the motion detector was set to operate. Dave also had noticed that my mother's storm door slammed shut instead of closing slowly each time someone went in or out. He tried to adjust the pneumatic-type door closer, but it was very old and couldn't be made to work properly. He made the case that this was a real safety issue, because the door has a large section of glass that could break. He offered to run to the local hardware store and buy a new door closer mechanism right then. Before we knew it, he had returned and replaced the bad part. I was so surprised and glad that Dave was willing to work on a Saturday with such little notice. Before contacting him, I had envisioned it might be difficult to find a good time for the light fixture replacement, since it's winter. The fact that he also went the extra mile (literally!) to make sure the door closer was replaced shows his dedication. He's enthusiastic and very responsive.

It was about a 6'-8' section between the side of the house and the chain link fence. He installed it in one day. It looks great, we will use him again!

As usual, Dave was prompt and professional. He reviewed my issues, gave suggestions and firm estimate, picked up materials, and got straight to work. He introduced me to two products I had not heard of and trained me in how to use them. SuperDave does excellent work which is why he's my go-to guy for any problems in my house.

My grandfather was a carpenter by trade. In his later years, he would tell us when you hire a contractor, hire the busy one. There?s a real good reason they?re busy. I was so impressed with the work that SuperDave and Charlie did on my carport that I had them come back for a second job. I needed my front door and dummy door replaced. They gave some design suggestions that we hadn?t even thought of. The result was mind blowing. They took a difficult job and made it look like that?s how it was supposed to be all along. I have more projects in mind for this team, and I?m having them back again and again. Throughout the process they continued to incorporate new ideas and the quote stayed the same. The quality of their craftsmanship is second to none ? they are real pros. They took care of us and our property like we were their own. They are great contractors, and great people. If you want your expectations met, find any other contractor. If you want them exceeded, hire SuperDave. They?re worth it .

Called Dave to replace garbage disposal as it wasn't working. I purchased a replacement and had the item here for him when he arrived. Upon arriving Dave helped me understand how I could manually reset and turn the garbage disposal blade to unclog the disposal. He was very honest that I didn't need a replacement product saving me about $200-$250 in his time and allowing me to return the disposal I purchased. His only ask for his trouble was for gas money so I gave him $20 for his time and effort. I trust Dave to not perform unnecessary work and appreciate his honesty/patience with my scheduling his time and not needing it.

Super Dave was terrific. He came on time to give a bid on the work then followed-up with the service on the date that we had agreed upon. He arrived on time and went right to work in installing the lights and the locks. The products installed were high quality and matched my house well. He took the time to show me how to re-key my locks if needed and tried to identify a problem with my outdoor lighting. These small things show that he valued customer service and took pride in the quality of his work.

The reality is that there isn’t any way to properly review SuperDave and his crew (Charlie!). The technology to do so doesn’t exist. There’s just no way my words or pictures could possibly do the work justice. The quality of the workmanship and the people are beyond top notch. The work is fantastic, my expectations exceeded, and I now have the best contractor on my team for future projects. There’s no need for us to look anywhere else. Professional, thoughtful, punctual, eye for detail and hard working all come to mind. There’s a reason he’s busy, he (and Charlie) are THAT good.
