Called Dave after pleasant previous experience when roof needed repair in different locations. Called Dave who rearranged his schedule to visit, quote, & repair later that day due to impending weather and my travel. He called when complete & was very responsive.

Dave was great. He responded promptly to our call, showed up on time, and fixed the problem on the spot. Very inexpensive. He's friendly and knowledgeable. He even called us back the next day to see if we were satisfied and to remind us that he would be happy to fix it again if we have any further problems. Excellent service.

He's very good. He goes around and looks at other areas of the house and if he sees anything wrong, he'll fix it on the spot.

It was completed quickly and effectively. Good clean up.

I did not want to tackle this job because of my fear of the possible hidden damages that water can create. Dave is very focused on doing the work right, and was prepared to respond to any contingencies without a "this is gonna cost more than I thought" attitude. The end result looks great.

We had 2 windows replaced in our dining/kitchen area a couple years ago and they were well sealed, but there was air coming in around the trim. During the winter it was uncomfortable to sit at the table because there was so much cold air coming in. I called Dave after finding him here on Angie's List. He was quick to return my initial call and scheduled a time to come out for an estimate. He scheduled a time for the next weekend to do the repair. He was here right on time for both visits. When he removed the trim, we could easily see daylight around the casing for both windows. He caulked all around them and put the trim back on. He took his shoes off when coming into the house, laid covering on the floor where he was working and completely cleaned up when he was done. I am happy to say we can now sit at the table and enjoy a meal without getting frostbite. We will definitely use him again for future projects and will highly recommend him to anyone we know.

We had got a leak in the ceiling and I noticed it late evening. I called SuperDave and he was prompt in answering my phone. We setup a appointment early morning the very next day. SuperDave called me the next day that he will be a bit late as he had to finish the previous job. He spend some time finding the cause of the leakage and it was due to the now in the attic that had got through the ridge vent. Super Dave quickly analyzed the situation and asked me to called insurance as the repair work would cost me more than the deductible. He was even responsive to speak with the insurance agent on the phone and describing the damage and work that needed to be done even before the adjuster could come, in order to prevent further damage. After getting the approval, he made an estimate of the work that needed to be done and cost associated with it. He then cleaned up the snow in the attic and removed the wet insulation. He cleaned up good after he was done. He also went out and brought shingles to fix the ridge vent so that no further snow or water would come in. He was a life saver that day. I hope he gives me a good estimate for the remaining of the work so i can re-hire him :) Thank you !

The results were great, the repair involved ceiling, wall and floor work resulting from a built in pantry tear out. The results are just as expected, no visible signs remain, very well blended in with the adjacent areas. The added bonus was the methods used left no clean up work on my end, note the work was in the kitchen, involved installing drywall patches - no dust left for me! Dave also fixed an import entry door problem without additional charge during the planned repair. Charles's work on the kithcen repair was outstanding, will definitely use SuperDave services again.

It went great! He was very professional. And the 8th of January they are putting in a new kitchen.

These guys were absolutely wonderful to work with. They have a wealth of experience and it shows in their craftsmanship. From the beginning, they were prompt in responding and always punctual. Before starting construction, Charley came out twice to look at the project and to make a plan. He put A LOT of thought and consideration into a solution to our problem. He wanted to fix the problem correctly, so that we wouldn't have issues in the future. The band board in our basement that our deck is bolted to had rotted out completely. This was the result of the previous owner's work on a door on the first floor. They did not put proper flashing in and therefore water had been saturating the wood for a long time. Charley had to completely jack the deck and remove several rows of the cedar siding in order to fix it properly. Once we decided to go forward with the project, Charley was at our house the next day. He put in two very long days and completed the job...something we were told by others would take weeks. Both men are extremely professional and incredibly nice. We will have them back in the future for sure to complete more work. We could not be more pleased with our result!!!

Excellent! Completed work on time, good workmanship, fair price. Included extras at no charge as he noticed issues during the work, e.g., repaired roof vent from squirrel damage, replaced rotten wood around windows and painted surfaces that were not included in his bid. Superdave has worked for us on many jobs on our old house over several years. He is very knowledgeable and knows his limitations. He. puts every detail of the job in writing, making sure there is full understanding of scope of work and price. He always cleans up after jobs and checks back for satisfaction. He does what he promises for a fair price.

The repair went seamless and looks great. He was very nice and walked me through the process. He cleaned the work area and did nice work.

I first contacted Super Dave around the 18th of November, after I realized the front attic vent had blown completely out, I had wind damage to my roof, some guttering and siding. He came to my house on the 19th, but wasn't able to put the vent in because of the rain and dangerous conditions, but after having a look at everything, he recommended that I contacted my insurance agent, as the necessary repairs would be more costly than my deductible. He told me to let him know when the adjustor was scheduled and he would be sure to come back and set things up to make access easier, etc. AND HE DID!!! The day the adjustor came, he arrived almost an hour early and set up his ladders, etc. and looked things over himself. He stayed until the adjustor made his recommendations and left and then discussed, with me, his suggestion for the best course of action. I had his estimate, in the mail within two days and decided to proceed with having him do the repairs. He was absolutely diligent in making sure he got back and got the repairs completed before the next wave of winter storms!! I could not be more pleased and impressed with his thoroughness and professionalism. When it's so hard to find someone who actually follows through, these days, I will definitely be keeping Super Dave "on my speed dial!!" He's 1000% a "keeper!!!" Oh ... and did I mention that my house is over 100 years old and has a steep-pitched roof? Super Dave never even blinked at having to deal with those conditions!

Day before sleet and snow due to arrive the person who was scheduled to remove all our leaves (7 trees) from back yard and front to the street curb for the city to collect didn't show up! Who you going to call? I called Super Dave! He showed up early the next morning while it was sleeting and worked for four hours to move a mountain of leaves out to the street. He had to replace a broken leaf blower part way through too. Luckily the sleet stopped for him. He got ALL the leaves even in the front garden under several rose bushes. And he left us a tasty holiday gift before he left. (Pays to be long time repeat customer) Dave always has done great work for us and came through in a pinch this time. We certainly were fortunate.

His bid was significantly higher than the other bids. He has great marketing materials, though! Very friendly!

SuperDave and one assistant did all the work for which we had contracted, and fixed a couple of other problems they discovered (without additional charge). They repaired a stretch of aluminum soffit under our roof and some vinyl siding that had been damaged by a recent windstorm; installed a new garbage disposal to replace an old one in our kitchen and fixed a large broken drawer in our kitchen cabinet; replaced a sink stopper mechanism in our master bathroom that had been damaged when we had new bathroom cabinets installed; and they replaced a faulty ceiling light fixture in our laundry room, and put in a new light switch in one of our bathrooms. Dave was very prompt in giving us his estimate, they showed up at 8:00 a.m. as he said they would to do the work, did all the work in a very professional manner, and finished in five hours. In doing the work, they discovered some additional siding that had been blown out of place and reinstalled it without charging us. We were very pleased with our experience and highly recommend SuperDave to anyone needing an excellent handyman.

Charlie called and set up a time to come out to look at the damage, after which he called with an estimate. He called again to schedule the repair and called right before he came out to let me know he was on his way. While he was there he checked the rest of the house for other pieces that were loose - and found one. He repaired that as well under the same estimate. He was there when he said he'd be there, cared enough to check for more damage and repaired everything very nicely. He was very courteous and thoughtful.

My deck looks brand new thanks to SuperDave and Charlie. I wasn't sure what to do with my deck as some of the boards were rotting away and staining the deck every year becomes quite expensive. I was thinking about replacing the flat surfaces with the composite maintenance free boards. After talking with SuperDave, I decided to have the rotting boards replaced and the deck painted. Even though the replacement of boards was more extensive than estimated, SuperDave did not charge me extra The price that he quoted was the price that I paid. The deck looks great and I'm really happy with the quality of work and service that SuperDave and Charlie provide. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

SuperDave and Charlie did a fantastic job. They arrived bright and early in the morning, started work immediately, completed the work within 2 days and did an excellent job of cleaning up after completing the job. They even did additional work that I did not request at no additional charge! I was very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

Dave and Charlie completed all the work in two busy days. All the painting and varnishing looks great, replacing the peeling and mold-covered paint that had gone too long without being repainted. They noticed some nail holes' caulking needed to be fixed from weather exposure, so they took care of that also. Charlie removed the old toilet and installed the new one Dave purchased; that took a couple of hours. As always, they took care to protect exposed surfaces from paint drips and cleaned up every day. We've been customers of Super Dave for over a decade and trust his work. He is reliable and personable. In the past he removed and built a new deck, did interior plastering, painting, tile work, roof replacement, storm windows, etc. Everything looked so good, we signed another contract to have the rest of the garage exterior prepared, stained and painted. Dave's prices are fair and worth the results.

From start to finish, this was an excellent experience. SuperDave arrived quickly to provide an itemized estimate and the work was completed within a week. The work was excellent and everything was cleaned up when they completed the work. I would highly recommend him and would quickly hire him for any future work.

He & his associate, Charlie, completed the job in about 2 hours. They completely cleaned the area they worked in, left everything spotless and did a beautiful job on all work. He called everytime before he came out and was always on time. I would not hesitate to recommend him & his associate as a handyman and will call him in the future for handman jobs.

When we needed some work done to improve the appearance of our backyard and garage, the only person we contacted was SuperDave. As returning customers, we knew his bids to do the work would be fair, and most importantly, we knew the work would be excellent. We were not disappointed. After an extensive backyard renovation last fall, our home?s back porch, back fence, and the exterior of our garage looked shabby. The small roof over a bay window also needed to be replaced, and we needed a new gutter/downspout installed on the garage. SuperDave responded quickly to our initial call. We pointed out the work we wanted done, and along the way SuperDave suggested options on how he could make things look great. Taking advantage of a window of opportunity in other jobs he had going on, he commenced work within a business day. Over the course of three days, SuperDave and his crew tore down and rebuilt our rear fence and gate, painted our back porch and a couple doors, installed a new custom gutter system on our garage, coil-wrapped door frames on the garage, and re-shingled the bay window roof. The quality of work exceeded even our high expectations. The crew was friendly and courteous, and they made sure to clean up at the end of each day and after the job was completed. SuperDave personally followed up with us over the next couple days to ensure we were satisfied, and it is clear he possesses a high measure of professional pride.
