Scott came out about a week later to look. He came in and said..ok....where are the squeaks. I said...well...give me a price to get rid of all of them. This began my education process on squeaks. I hadn't made a diagram of where they were but by memory took him to a few areas and some areas where I knew there were squeaks didn't squeak when I took him there..grrrr...So...I learned that squeaks change. Sometimes they are there all the time...sometimes not. Sometimes they show up as weather gets colder....or show up when its dryer or wetter, so this whole thing is a process, so do not call him in and tell him to get rid of all the squeaks and expect that will take care of it. So after going through the house and different areas, Scott did his thing, made a list of what he found and gave me a quote to remove the squeaks he found. He then used the coupon to reduce that amount even further. I asked, does this price guarantee that all squeaks are gone? He said no. (the explanation above) His warranty is for a certain amount of distance from the spot he fixes the squeak (I forget if that is 12 inches? 3ft????) Well of course..in my mind I wondered about this. Anyway...I committed to the job, and he came maybe a week later and became one with my floors...tapping...banging...stepping...whispering....and when he was done, I could not step anyplace that would squeak. I was so happy. In the next week, I heard some more but they really were not in the same areas. I called Scott back because that is what his warranty is. If these squeaks are within a certain distance of the ones fixed already, there is no charge, and if farther, then his normal low fee per squeak. Fortunately for me, on this trip all off the squeaks were within the covered distance so there was no charge. When he left, there were no squeaks. Within a week I heard more...new ones...geez....weather was changing. So I called him back, but also added the job of removing misc noises from my steps and not just the floor. When he came, of course the stairs were a new charge and 2 of the squeaks were new charge squeaks. This will be a process but I will get all those suckers. I would definitely recommend the service, but all need to be aware that it is a process and honestly could take a couple years to get all those little guys, but...Scott will be there

He was very personable and he did good work. He was also flexible with his schedule. He really did a good job.

Squeaks are gone!!! I was truly amazed at that fact but even more so at how invisible the work was. Even with a freshly finished floor, the steps taken to stop the squeaks were not visible at all. I would highly recommend them and their work to anyone.

Quiet as a mouse other than normal expansion and contraction.

I called initially and Scott answered all of my questions regarding me wanting to make sure my subfloor was in top shape because I was adding hardwood floors to my home. Scott set up an appointment promptly and addressed all of my concerns and even identified some other areas I had missed on my inspection as well. He was on time for the estimate, the prices are very reasonable considering the investment of a hardwood floor. I agreed to have the work done and we set an appointment. When the day arrived, he showed up at the promised time and well prepared. Had screwed down the entire subfloor in all my areas of my home. He walked over the areas with me and the corrected 3 soft spots in the floor. I was very pleased with the detail of his work, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone getting hardwood floors, or needing squeaks eliminated. My floor feels like one solid piece of wood with no movement and I am 100% confident my new hardwood floors will have a solid base for years to come. Scott wins hands down. Scott was very professional and explained the entire process before he began working on the floors. The precise methodology for detecting floor squeaks was very impressive. I would recommend Squeakstoppers to everyone.

Scott came couple of weeks before and gave an estimate on places he and I discovered squeaks. We set up an appointment 2 weeks later. He did get busy in his first job that morning, and unfortunately couldnt show up on time. He was kind enough to call me and let me know. He and his assistant did their job quietly without any mess. It took them 2-3 hours to completely wrap up. We had some places with big squeaks, but now when we walk on it there is no noise at all. Pretty awesome job. During the visit he noticed that the 2nd level was much hot and then found out that my supply was not working. He was kind enough to point me the problem. Unfortunately they don't do any HVAC related stuff, but he did tell me what options I had. I strongly recommend, Squeak Stoppers for any squeaks in the house.

AMAZING! They came in, worked very hard from 9:30am-2:30, never stopped for break or lunch, by 2:30 our floors no longer had major squeaks. The only down side is that now that all the big squeaks are gone, I notice the small ones in other areas of the house. I was warned this would happen though, so we'll have them back to fix those at some point. I never imagined that the squeaks we had would be fixable - especially on second floor - with no visual signs that they were fixed. Again, amazing job and even my spouse that first thought it was a little frivolous, is very happy with outcome and glad we did it.

Scott was very thorough in his estimate and work performed. He took the time to make sure all the squeaks previously marked were fixed as well as any in the area. Only on very close inspection can you tell that any work was done. Most areas repaired had finished ceilings below them, but that did not pose a problem.

An estimate was provided with a detailed mapping of the location of each issue to be repaired. The method of repair and the cost of each repair were described in detail so that we knew exactly what was to be done. Three references were obtained and all were very complimentary of the work performed. The company's insurance papers were provided immediately on request. We are quite pleased with the quality of the work performed and the professional conduct of the owner, Scott Diebold, during the estimate and performing the work. Scott answered all of our questions and provided all of the information requested in a timely manner. He arrived promptly to perform the work and conducted himself is a very courteous manner throughout the entire process. He and his company are a pleasure to work with and deliver the results promised. No more squeaks or things that go "thump" in the floor. If new squeaks develop we will definitely use Squeak Stoppers.

Everything went well and he had no problem coming back out when we found some additional squeaks. We did have to air out the basement because the glue smell was pretty strong, but the weather was good enough to keep the windows open. We have an 89 year old house and we didn't realize how noisy it was until they finished the job.
