Best home contractor service I have ever experienced. Their service was very affordable, completed on time, and fixed a dozen squeaks and a big dip in our floor in less than a day. Truly amazing. I wish all contractors were this dependable!

$670 to repair 20+ squeaks found in hallway and bedroom floors. We lived with the squeaks for way too long. So glad to have them fixed. Scott, owner, scheduled the work quickly and was on the job to help for a short while, while his very experience associate did most of the work. Both were very friendly and explained all the work that was done. Work is guarantee, nice to know in case we need them again. I highly recommend.

We have a 1950s home which had beautiful but very squeaky hardwood floors. Scott and Jeff were very professional, arrived promptly, worked hard, and took great care to leave our home clean when finished. They did a phenomenal job of removing the squeaks. Scott came in and identified 50+ spots that squeaked and they fixed each one. It's remarkable how quiet it is now. Not one squeak has returned and if it does I know Scott will be back and fix it no questions asked. Great job and we highly recommend.

Very well. Previously, I had given Squeakstoppers an F because I had difficulty reaching them and then they didn't show up for an appointment to provide a bid. After posting my review, I was contacted by the owner. Instead of being upset or angry, he was very apologetic and concerned that this had happened. He apologized and asked for a second chance to prove that the other wonderful reviews were accurate. I'm very glad I gave them a second chance because I am extremely pleased with the work. We have Pergo flooring, and have developed some squeaks in several areas of our house. Called Squeak Stoppers and scheduled an appointment. I was impressed with Angie's List raring and reviews. During the on-site inspection, I was impressed with the information and inspection process concerning our problem. On the day of repair, they were on-time and were professional and efficient throughout the repair. Jeff, (the repairman) explained what he would be doing. He corrected all the squeaky issues and cleaned all the work areas he had been in. We are very pleased with the work and the attitude of the employees of Squeak Stoppers. I give this company an "A" rating and will recommend them to my neighbors and friends . Way to go!!!

It has been almost a year since the project was finished. We have not heard one squeak!! Everyone showed up on time, were professional and did a good job of cleaning up upon completing the sanding and refinnishing of the floor.

To be up front, our house had a legendary number of squeaks. I don't mean little pops, I mean squeaks so loud that the neighbors could hear them. Upon entering our ~85 year old house, Jeff said we should write a testimonial, it was so bad. He spent a solid 2.5 hours documenting each squeak, and that was just for the free quote! Jeff was very meticulous and took all of the time necessary to explain what was going on and what they needed to do. This was a great experience. Scott walked around our floors to find the squeaks, marked the locations that needed attention. provided a reasonable cost to fix the squeaks, and then showed up on time to fix the problems. We've put up with floor squeaks for so long that its shocking to hear silence as we walk across the floor.

This guy was able to stop my squeek. It's real, the guy is like legit. He did a terrific job. He was here three seperate occasions in the past year. The work was outstanding.

He worked on a much more extensive area that he had to focus on for the squeeks. I decided to give him additional things, so that should give you some indication. I would mark it "A" across all the catagories.

I had identified some additional areas that needed attention. For floor squeeks it actually works.

We had been living with many exceptionally loud squeaks in the hardwood floor of our hall and kitchen. We put off repairs too long for two reasons: 1) We didn't want to see imperfections in our expensive hardwood floors that we thought the repair process would cause 2) Our basement is finished and we were under the impression repairs can't be done without damaging the basement ceiling drywall. Scott and Jeff silenced all the squeaks (those extremely loud squeaks and a few others). All the repairs are undetectable. The hardwood floor looks great. All without touching the basement ceiling drywall. We are very impressed and happy with their work and the results. We highly recommend their service.

We purchased a different home recently, and one of the biggest issues we needed to get past before purchasing the home was the number of really bad squeaks that the main floor of this 2,039 square feet ranch style home with full, mostly unfinished basement had. Every room had several bad squeaks. Although I did not contact anyone at the time, I did do some research on Angie's List and felt confident that we could probably get the squeaks out so we proceeded with the purchase, since the house met pretty much all our wants and needs, other than the squeaks. Scott, the owner of Squeak Stoppers, met me at the house and he took a look at the underneath of the floor, from the basement, and then proceeded to inspect the squeaks from walking/stepping through the main floor. I learned real fast that there is quite the science to what causes floor squeaks and that the squeaks very well and most likely are caused from someplace other than where you step on the floor and make the squeak. The price Scott quoted me was higher than what I had hoped to pay, but did not exceed what I expected it could be, based on other Angie's List reviews and based on the very high number of trouble areas we had at this house. We agreed to the price and scheduled Scott for his next available opening. Scott and his assistant arrived as scheduled and promptly began their work. I had other things to do, so I left and came back at the end of the day. Scott had scheduled one full day and a partial day to make the repairs, due to the number of issues, but he pretty much finished the repairs on day one and came back the next morning to cleanup and do a post repair inspection. Since we will be finishing the basement, Scott asked me to contact him before the contractor starts the drywall part of the remodeling, to be sure that any construction work did not change any of the floor structure that could cause new squeaks. Scott and his assistant were very polite and punctual and acted and dressed professionally. I was pleased with Scott and his work and very much recommend his services.

It was good and fine. I think he was very knowledgeable and did a very good job explaining it. He actually showed up when he said he’d be there and did the job and finished on time. There were no issues.

Scott came out about a week later to look. He came in and said..ok....where are the squeaks. I said...well...give me a price to get rid of all of them. This began my education process on squeaks. I hadn't made a diagram of where they were but by memory took him to a few areas and some areas where I knew there were squeaks didn't squeak when I took him there..grrrr...So...I learned that squeaks change. Sometimes they are there all the time...sometimes not. Sometimes they show up as weather gets colder....or show up when its dryer or wetter, so this whole thing is a process, so do not call him in and tell him to get rid of all the squeaks and expect that will take care of it. So after going through the house and different areas, Scott did his thing, made a list of what he found and gave me a quote to remove the squeaks he found. He then used the coupon to reduce that amount even further. I asked, does this price guarantee that all squeaks are gone? He said no. (the explanation above) His warranty is for a certain amount of distance from the spot he fixes the squeak (I forget if that is 12 inches? 3ft????) Well of course..in my mind I wondered about this. Anyway...I committed to the job, and he came maybe a week later and became one with my floors...tapping...banging...stepping...whispering....and when he was done, I could not step anyplace that would squeak. I was so happy. In the next week, I heard some more but they really were not in the same areas. I called Scott back because that is what his warranty is. If these squeaks are within a certain distance of the ones fixed already, there is no charge, and if farther, then his normal low fee per squeak. Fortunately for me, on this trip all off the squeaks were within the covered distance so there was no charge. When he left, there were no squeaks. Within a week I heard more...new ones...geez....weather was changing. So I called him back, but also added the job of removing misc noises from my steps and not just the floor. When he came, of course the stairs were a new charge and 2 of the squeaks were new charge squeaks. This will be a process but I will get all those suckers. I would definitely recommend the service, but all need to be aware that it is a process and honestly could take a couple years to get all those little guys, but...Scott will be there
