Description of Work: AC went out late on a Friday night (of course!) and called SmartHouse who came out early Saturday morning. Problem was motor on a 20 year old Carrier. Since we haven't had any problems so far with AC decided to go ahead and replace motor. We have a yearly plan with Smart House and have AC and Furnace checked seasonally. |Technician was awesome and knowledgeable. Gave me all the info (pricing, off hours fees etc.) before going to get part. He also spent time explaining to me the new technology in HVAC systems, SEER, dual stage motors etc. as well as explained the specifics required to replace out AC and Furnace. We got a bid quickly from Smart House for replacement HVAC and are currently getting additional bids. Highly recommend Smart House.

Description of Work: SmartHouse upgraded our attic insulation by adding 8 to 10 inches (I'm guessing) of insulation in a 3000 square foot home. Their President came first and consulted, gave some additional suggestions of ways to be more energy efficient. In addition to the insulation they added some covers in the attic over 8 pocket lights that were allowing air to leak up thru the attic as well. Very pleased with the entire experience. Had gotten another quote from another company that was significantly higher!
