I was impressed from the beginning. Mike came by to give an estimate, and because of drywall in the basement, he guessed on the inside wall and gave me a quote for him to remove the small area of drywall (or we could do it). The day came when he was to do the work. I told him I saw another crack in an area I didn't show him the first time, so they investigated and good thing - it was the source of much water. They began to dig outside and then advised it would be cheaper to do the epoxy inside. The filled the dirt back in (better than it looked to begin with) and didn't charge me for that labor even though he dug for probably 30 minutes - the dirt was dry and hard. They also dug in front of the drain/downspout and put a PVC pipe in and a pop up in the grass away from the house because the sewer was not working where the downspout was directed. that was a big part of the problem too. Mike kept me updated as he did things, asking questions, and telling me what he was doing and why. He was incredibly knowledgable. They had laid down tarps, and covered furniture, and cleaned up appropriately. They were efficient, professional, and extremely polite. All work was done. The original quote was $725, With the additional work (including tearing out some drywall, to get to the crack that went all the way down to the ground.) it was an additional $240. Total was $970. I was impressed and happy for all that was done, that was all that was charged.

Super fast service, estimate before the work started, obviously knew his business, and his assistant is also very sharp.

I contacted them on Monday to schedule to have them do some work. They were suppose to call me back on Friday and I never heard from them. I even called a number they had listed and the man who answered was rude to me.

I called Robert's Foundations one day telling the owner, Mike Roberts, that an old foundation crack repair job had failed. I was given an approximate estimate by phone and Mike came out the next day. He and his helper worked about 21/2 hours and they filled the the crack, and another smaller one that they found at a small additional charge, in a most professional way. Their price was less than that of a previous estimate and the speed with which they responded was exceptional. I would use this them again and I highly recommend this company.

Roberts did a wonderful job repairing the foundation of my 105+ year old home and waterproofing the basement. I found Robert & his team to be friendly, honest, and reliable. They always arrived when they said they would, and they went above and beyond to do things they probably could have charged me for (i.e. moving heavy furniture/appliances around in the basement). This was an expensive job, but I felt I was treated fairly and with respect. They worked fast and hard to get the job done, and then cleaned up so well after they were done that you almost couldn't even tell they'd been there with so much equipment! It's been almost 8 months since the work was done, and my basement (that used to have huge puddles of standing water after even a light rain) has been bone dry. I am VERY pleased with their service and would not hesitate to recommend them.

From the first visit I was very satisfied with the work done. The owner came for the estimate and I dealt directly with him for the duration of the project. The price was comparable to other estimates and I felt the explanation of the work and evaluation of the entire project was above and beyond what I had initially consider. Other vendors only spoke to what i asked for. The team came in and completed the work in 2 days, 1/2 day ahead of schedule. The finished product was held up to multiple storms and I am very pleased. The only comment is the basement was unfinished and although i had constant running water it was passable for cleanliness. The dirt/debris from the concrete removal was significant and I'll needed to do a decent amount of cleaning to the space. I'm not sure if this is normal for basement repair or not, but the quality of work more than makes up for this.

I live in a 75 year old home in the Kirkwood-Webster area. I noticed only minor water leaks in the basement over the years until this past Spring with the very heavy rains, so it was time to fix the problem. I contacted two of the larger waterproofing companies and received their bids. I decided to use Angies List to find a smaller company for a 3rd and final bid. I contacted Mike Roberts and he stopped by the house and provided some practical advice on how to deal with the various problems. He delivered the bid the next day and it was over 35% lower than the other two I had received. I was still a little nervous about going with a smaller company for such an important project, but the $2,100 savings was too much to pass up. Mike and his crew showed up on time one week later and they immediately went to work. They finished the project in 1 1/2 days and they left the basement cleaner than when they arrived. They thoroughly explained how the system works and they even helped me move some heavy furniture before they left. I am very happy with the price and quality of work and I highly recommend Roberts Waterproofing for drain tile, sump pump, epoxy injection and drylok painting services.

They were good. They were very professional. They were competent. We decided not to go ahead with the project due to our own reasons. If we had to go ahead with the project we would have asked them to do the job for us. They were responsive. I would use their services in the future also.

Everything was completed in a timely manner. Everything was completed as expected and per the agreement.

Great. The owner, Mr. Roberts was very knowledgeable and his crew took much care with all of the work that they performed. A professional manner was maintained by all throughout. Very impressive. The only glitch was with the sump pump itself which started to act up a few days after installation. We called Mr. Roberts. He came out that same evening ready to replace the faulty pump at no charge. When it was determined that it was not the pump itself but a bit of debris caught up in the well works, it was quickly cleared and back in operation, good to go. No charge. Mr. Roberts apologized for any inconvenience that may have been caused by the temporary malfunctioning of the pump and encourage us to call back if anything else should arise.

He was professional, considerate; fair priced, and did an excellent job. I also had him come back to do my driveway. I will definitely use him again if the need arises.

Work was completed in a timely fashion and the clean up was wonderful! The channels were dug by hand and dirt was carried by wheelbarrows so no damage was done to the rest of our yard. He had a team of 5 workers, each with a specific job, so there was no wasted time.

I discovered approximately 1/2 to 1" of water in the basement of a rental property after recent heavy rains. There was some indication in the home inspection report that this had happened before, but the serious nature of the problem was not known when I bought the house. I checked Angie's List for a good waterproofing contractor and decided to try Roberts Waterproofing. Mike Roberts came out to the house the same day I called and did an analysis of the situation. He gave me an estimate of $2765 for the drain work, sump pump and discharge pipe. I thought this was fair and signed the contract. The whole team (4-5 people) came out about ten days later and performed the work in one day. Part of the job was to remove a storage room under the basement stairs as that is where most of the water was coming in and they couldn't work with the room there.They cleaned up the area before they left and did a good job with the installation. I asked Mike for an estimate to put waterproof paint on all the walls (Drylock, I think) as there was evidence of water stains on some of the walls. Mike gave me an estimate of $1050 for the painting, and I agreed as this is a large basement. They did the work a week later, and again, did a fine job.

I had a really good experience with them. The owner of the company Mike Roberts contacted me directly. They were always on time and here when they said they were going to be here. They kept the site really nice and clean and in order when they were doing the work even though it was messy work. I was real satisfied with them. Their price was quite a bit lower than some of the bigger companies I had talked to. The workers were all polite. I had other things done around the house and the workers would have loud radios and lots of loud talking and disturbances but these guys were real professionals. I would definitely recommend them. As far as I can tell the quality has been good.

Roberts' price was competitive and their quality of work was good. Materials and know-how were of quality and I would use them again. The work has held up since they have done it, everything has been good. They were able to keep water from coming in.

I called Mike Roberts and told him about a crack seeping water in a rental house. I then had the tenant arrange the appointment with him. The service was completed within a few days of my initial call. He is very professional. I have used him in the past and his work has never required a return visit. I strongly recommend his service. It is fairly priced and very reliable.

They arrived the morning they promised. They were polite, clean, punctual, finishing one-half day before estimated. They cleaned up all mess, including washing the driveway. The basement which had two serious leaks before this work, had no leaks at all. The basement has lost the "cellar" smell which occurred after rains.

OVERALL I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK.
