He responded right away to my call, offered a very reasonable bid, and kept me apprised of any minor changes in our scheduled work date. Always prompt and prepared, he works with amazing energy and skill, completing all tasks efficiently, cleaning up to a meticulous degree, returning if needed for any finishing touches. Mark is the ideal package in a contractor: skilled, timely, affordable, adaptable when changes arise, personable - and his work is just excellent. Looking forward to working with him again. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: Needed some drywall/remodeling and electrical work done, as well as some minor related tasks, toward updating a vintage fifties bathroom.

 + -1 moreI called Quinlan Construction Services for an estimate for electrical work I needed for my home. Mark Quinlan arrived at the scheduled time to assess the scope of the work, and gave me his bid immediately after completing his assessment. The bid was significantly lower than those I received from two other contractors. Mark was again prompt on the morning scheduled to do the work and completed the installations and cleanup in a few hours. His workmanship is exceptional and I am very pleased with the job. I would highly recommend Mark to my neighbors and friends.
Description of Work: Installation of additional interior and exterior electrical outlets and a porch light.

 + 0 moreMark is friendly and professional. He does outstanding work. Our deck is beautiful and the siding has gotten many compliments. He is knowledgeable, fair and honest.
Description of Work: Mark replaced cedar siding on house, rebuilt and stained deck, replaced water damaged ceiling in bedroom. Replaced and revented bathroom fan, replaced attic fan. Those are the most recent projects. In the past he has replaced doors, fixed damaged concrete and many other projects.

Mark methodically tested and checked out the existing circuits and then installed proper grounded GFCI circuits and brought everything up to current code and now I am confident that everything is safe for my grandkids. I plan on bringing Mark back for additional electric work and some remodeling work in the basement.
Description of Work: I hired Mark Quinlan to disconnect two normal outside circuits and then to figure out and correct the rest of the electrical configuration in the backyard with a pool filter, a pool light and an useless outdoor outlet. Things did not turn on and off as I thought they should and before I did additional landscaping and digging in the backyard I wanted to know that everything was safe and sound.

 + 0 moreBeautifully! I will definitely hire Mark Quinlan again when I'm ready to redo my second bath. Mark's philosophy is: "There aren't problems, only solutions". He paid great attention to detail, was meticulous in all he did, and went to great lengths to disturb the rest of my home as little as possible. He even vacuumed each day before he left. Heartily recommend.
