We just had a complete master bath redo completed by Mark Quinlan of Quinlan Construction Services and must say that the project was exceptional in it's execution. Our home is quite old (150 years) and presented challenges in squaring up and leveling wall and floors. Mark rebuilt the bath from the studs up, with impressive expertise creating a truly beautiful space. Mark was very punctual and worked full days in an effective way. Mark has a strong work ethic and very conscientious. After interviewing and working with various contractors over the years, we felt that Marks pricing was quite fair. Highly recommended...!

Mark did an excellent job! He was on time, prepared with all tools and equipment and even brought drop cloths! He repaired outlets, switches and installed a ceiling fan/light kit. Mark found some unsafe conditions in my attic and repaired them, too. I would highly recommend Mark and will use him again!

Mark Quilan, of Quilan Construction Services was excellent. From beginning to end, he was punctual, knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and very pleasant to work with. His work was excellent; we could not have been more pleased. He left everything spotless and I recommend him highly. I am planning on using Quilan Construction again in the spring.

Mark rewired and installed lighting inside my garage. His advice and expertise during the project were greatly appreciated! He completely transformed a dark open space into an incredible work space! He works fast and efficiently, and changes I made during the project (per his advice) greatly improved the overall interior of my work space. Let me first say, I am very pleased with Marks work on my bathroom. He did a great job however he decided to blame and insult me after he made an error drilling into a cabinet. I tried to reason with him, but all he did was spit anger and hostility. Hence this review. I will not hire him again and I was will not refer him to anyone. I would advise anyone hiring Mark to take heed. While he may be very communicative and good at his job, he is bitter and disrespectful to the consumer and the person paying his bills.

I’m very impressed with Mark’s work. When I bid out the work he was the only contractor who really took the time to inspect the property (and he uncovered some items that would be tricky). He also came up with several creative solutions (including placing two large cabinets next to each other to serve as pantry storage and moving the stove from one wall to the other to increase counter space). Mark is incredibly thorough and exceeded expectations with his work (he was also clean and tidy). He was also upfront with any problems he encountered and also brought forth tangible solutions. Mark is a great problem solver and has outstanding knowledge and ability with plumbing, gas, electrical, painting and HVAC. He is skilled in many trades. If you want a high quality job done right, Mark is your guy.

The quality of the construction was excellent!

Mark Quinlan took my outdated kitchen and turned it into my dream kitchen. This included a complete layout change. Mark is a perfectionist and shows in the quality of his work in all aspects of the remodel. Electric, flooring, drywalling, tile, doors, trim, cabinets and wall construction. Cleanup was done every day before he left. We discovered problems while gutting the kitchen and Mark brought everything up to code. Can't thank him enough for the fantastic job he did.

I hired Quinlan Construction Services to do a remodel (kitchen and bathroom) and paint my entire condo unit. It looks amazing. He always showed up on time, respected me in my home, and vacuumed everyday before he left. He does high quality work at a reasonable price and has attention to detail. His suggestion to paint my cabinets white made my kitchen and bathroom look great.

I removed a fireplace and hearth from a room addition at our home. Afterwards, there was a hole through our roof, where the chimney use to be and the walls behind the fireplace were down the studs. Mark Quinlan Construction repaired the ceiling joists which had previously stopped at the fireplace chimney, installed new roof sheeting and shingles. New drywall work and large windows were installed where the hearth used to reside. New siding on the outside was required after the windows were installed and he handled that as well. Mark arrives early, keeps a clean work space and is diligent on making sure the needs of the customer are met and that we were on the same page throughout the process. I explained how we were transitioning the room into a common area for our kids with built in desks to be installed at a later date. While I was away at work, Mark took the initiative to run electrical wiring for outlets and a wall mounted TV based on what I was explained at the beginning of the project. I had told him that I planned on wiring the room but since he was ready to drywall and I wasn't home, he did this by himself. He works by himself so you don't have to worry about hiring someone and then having the work being performed by a sub-par laborer. High quality individual and equally impressive carpentry/construction skills.

Mark was helpful in advising what kinds of products that we needed to purchase. He was communicative and on time.

Mark Quinlan did a great job for us in replacing our 32 year old deck. He worked diligently and professionally in removing the old deck and replacing it with a sturdier, better constructed, new one. After removing the old deck, he found deterioration of the band board under the deck and settlement of our fireplace structure. He replaced the deteriorated structure under the fireplace, as well as the band board. We are 100% satisfied with the work, which he did at an extremely competitive price. We wholeheartedly recommend Quinlan Construction Services and will use Mark for future work.

Mark recently restored our living after years of being the kids indoor football/hockey/wrestling arena. He re-taped/repaired walls, painted and ran electrical and installed the wall mount for a new TV. The room is immaculate. He was competitively priced and worked very hard to get everything done on time. Previously he ran an electrical line outside and installed an outdoor receptacle and switch for outdoor lighting. Both times he did a great job at a reasonable price.

Mark did a job for me at my home in Webster Groves. He replaced a dozen knob-and-tube outlets with grounded outlets. It's an old house and he repaired plaster around the outlets very professionally. He cleaned the worksite very thoroughly at the end of each day. He respected my home. He gave me a reasonable quote and delivered the end project at the quoted price. He was available quickly and showed up on-time everyday. He showed up with the materials needed to do the job. He worked tirelessly--no breaks, no runs offsite for materials, no excuses. I highly recommend him and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I wanted to take the opportunity to write a review for Mark Quinlin who promptly called back after I left a message concerning mold I could see in my basement. Besides doing a great job on the actual job of tearing out drywall, jack-hammering and filling the crack, replacing drywall, mudding, and priming the wall, he also provided helpful information to avoid other complications with water issues. Mark built 4 beautiful window frames that fit perfectly into 4 window openings that were not square or level. His handiwork is exceptional and that is evident in the big and small jobs. Mark shows up promptly, considers the homeowner's needs, cleans thoroughly after each day of work, and has the knowledge and experience needed to complete the tasks in the best possible manner. I would highly recommend Mark for your construction needs.

They did a great job, within budget and projected time frame. We needed a lot of boards replaced and extra work where the old frame had rotted or wasn't done correctly in the first place. Mark definitely knows what he's doing! Very personable and punctual, I strongly recommend and will use them again in the future.

Mark did a very careful review of the problem (in the ceiling, hard to get to) including conditions with the exterior vent (about 2.5 stories high). He was great at problem solving, having a contingency plan if conditions in the ceiling weren't as expected. Work was done well, clean job site and Mark kept me informed.

I called Quinlan Construction Services last Monday afternoon, and Mark Quinlan got back to me later Monday, came out first thing Tuesday morning, and had completed the repairs in about a half-hour. Friendly, prompt, professional. Completely satisfied.

I really enjoyed working with Mark on our bathroom project. I'll admit I wasn't sure how things were going to go in the beginning, but he absolutely knows his stuff. The transformation is pretty awesome considering the tight budget and number of skills he performed (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.). I'd 100% hire him again and am thinking of doing so if we ever pull the trigger on a deck out back. There may other larger, more polished contracting businesses, but Mark's quality + pricing fairness is without a doubt worth consideration.

It was a pleasure to work with Mark on this project. He is very knowledgeable about all phases of construction and did not take any shortcuts, he does quality work. He started the job the day he said he would and was on time each day of the project plus he cleaned up every day before he left. This was by far the best experience that I have ever had with a contractor. I would definitely use him again.

This was the second time I used Quinlan Construction Service to work on my home. Mark arrived at exactly the time he we agreed upon, began the work, and cleaned the work area as he progressed so that no debris would enter other parts of the house. We are very satisfied with the completed installation, and the price, which was much lower than we anticipated.

Mark did a beautiful job (as always). Our deck looks brand new. Mark also restored beautiful outdoor bench (cast iron and cypress wood) that I was able to purchase from him. it's a lovely addition to my backyard shade garden. Mark is very professional, reliable and trustworthy.
