In addition to fixing the problem, Pete swapped out my old processor with a surplus unit he had in the shop, installed a new video card, removed some unnecessary software, and configured the back-up routine. All for under $200! My PC is a 2004 vintage Dell that I was contemplating replacing, but no need now Great work!

Dealt with Pete exclusively by phone and email. He was very responsive anf professional and was able to do what we asked with no problem. He remained available for follow-up questions and didn't charge us for something that was an issue with a software manufacturer.

I spilled water on my laptop and thought I had lost everything! Turns out I only needed a new keyboard. Pete switched out the keyboard and tuned up the computer (without my even asking!). He was quick, reasonably priced and communicated well throughout the process.

Mr. Slonka arrived on time. He worked on 3 computers simultaneously. My computers are faster than ever. He was very pleasant to talk with as he waited for restarts to complete. Overall, a really good experience. I would highly recommend this company.

It turned out my CD drive couldn't be easily fixed, so he recommended that instead of putting a lot of money into an older laptop, I buy an external drive instead. He sent me links to drives I could purchase, including one that was $20 cheaper than the one I could buy in a store, and then did a tune-up on my laptop to make it run faster. The whole process was fair, honest, and reasonably priced. He was also very easy and pleasant to work with. I would definitely go to him again.

Pete was very responsive! We exchanged a few emails where I explained my problems (problem with fan and very slow). We then confirmed over the phone that he would order the new fan and call when it came in. I paid via pay pal and he called when it arrived. I dropped the computer off at his house and discussed the issues I was having. He called a few hours later and said it was running good as new. He even dropped it off at my house!! He was able to find the fan a bit cheaper than first thought, so he charged me less for the labor and clean up. I would highly recommend Pete. He was very nice and professional and my computer really is good as new!

Pete is not only a very skilled and savvy computer person, he's also a great guy who explained things in clear English without being condescending. When he made a suggestion, he explained the pros and cons fully. Pete is a treasure; I couldn't be more pleased.

He was great. I dropped the computer off with him and didn't know what was wrong with it. He cleaned it out and when he returned it realized he should have replaced the fan. He told me which fan to order so I was able to go and find an inexpensive one. When it arrived he came to my house and installed it. I offered to pay him for his time and he said no. Super nice guy & does great work. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Excellent, efficient, Pete accomplished everything he promised in a timely manner and in addititon was thoroughly pleasant to deal with. Price ran a bit higher than estimate becasue some of data transfer took longer as we got hung up on system updates.

Pete did a great job! He helped me program my new computer and also helped debug my laptop. He was really patient and explained everything that was wrong and how he was going to fix it. This experience in itself made my subscription to Angie's List worth it. I had a file infected with a virus and was very worried that more would be infected. I called Pete Slonka at 9 a.m. When I didn't hear from him hours later, I emailed him and received an email back saying he would call in the afternoon. He didn't call me back until after 5 p.m. So, that was the only negative in my dealings with Pete. When we did finally talk, he was willing to work on my computer at 6 p.m. remotely. Although that morning another company had been unsuccessful fixing my computer remotely, Pete did it in 40 minutes. He replaced my virus software with a free one that he vouched for; he removed my infected file and ran the new virus software to make sure there was nothing else infected. He removed objects I didn't need. And then only charged my $50. I was greatly relieved and made very happy. I totally agree with other Angie's List members who have rated Pete an A.

I had an excellent experience working with Pete and will definitely seek his expertise again. He arrived promptly and had things back on track in less than an hour. He also suggested upgrades I could do myself to keep expenses down.

Pete was exceptional. I have had experience with three previous companies offering this kind of service. They were bigger, more expensive, very frustrating and unprofessional around scheduling. Pete was friendly, totally professional, extremely efficient, fixed everything I needed and provided additional suggestions. Including one that has increased my computer speed significantly. There is no doubt that I would use him again and I have already recommended him to several of my family members and colleagues.

Pete arrived at 10 am and finished by 12:30 and left a detailed list of what he'd done. This was a week and a half ago and everything's been working great. Pete is completely professional and we would contact him again.

PCpro is the ticket. Pete had my PC the day I called (Sunday!) and had it back a few days later. Did everything as agreed. What I really like are the tips on PC maintenance and suggestions for good software to help.

I called Pete, described the problem - a nasty virus that took over my Windows program - and he had me bring the PC over Saturday morning. By Sunday morning it was ready to pick up - except that he advised me to pick up more RAM from a computer accessory store, which he helpfully installed. He took off Norton Antivirus and installed APG, a free antivirus system. Couldn't be better!
