Perfect as expected

During a recent heat spell in STL, I thought my A/C was running for much longer than I remembered (i.e. working much harder to keep the house cool). I called Morgner, and spoke with the dispatcher. Although I didn't think it an "emergency", she said that they would list as "A/C not working" so that a tech would be there that day. Within 4 hours a tech arrived and checked freon pressures on both sides, Air temp drop from the duct work checked the airflow and filter, checked that the interior coil was not freezing up.... He found no problems, said that he would wait a bit to see if anything changed as the unit ran for a while. After a time checked all the system again and said that there was no problem with the unit. We talked about my current thermostat and I said that it would only start when the tstat hit 2 deg. above the set temp and would turn off when the temp went 1 degree below the set temp. He said that that was odd and that he could replace it If I wanted. I said I had already looked on line to replace it and told him prices for what I had in mind, he said they were good brands and that if I was comfortable replacing it on my own it would be cheaper than having him do it. For all service, I was charged for a Diagnostic / Trip charge. When the old unit finally DOES die, I will most likely call Morgner again to do actual work.

I noticed that our air conditioner was not cooling and especially was not getting the humidity out of the air. It was one of the hottest days of the year. I checked Angie's list and noticed that Morgner consistently gets A ratings. I knew from previous work experience that they were good to work with, but I had never used them myself. I called at 1:30 and left a message. The technician called me back by 2. He said he had another call in Chesterfield and would get to me after that. He called about 3 and said that he had to go back to the office to get some parts and should be at my house by 5. He called again at 4:30 and said he was on his way. By 6:15 we had cool air coming from the vents again. Outstanding work!

The only way that they could get the appliances in place was to use a crane to put it on the roof. They were very helpful. They came on time and did the job well. When we had another issue after the installation they came out and figured out that it was a mistake of theirs and didn't charge us for the service. They were great.

He is excellent and I use him all the time. I even bought my new furnace from them and it was reasonable. He tells me what the problem is. I have been using his services from the past 27 years.

Their bid was in the mid range. We decided not to take this bid.

We called them and they came right out. It only took about ten minutes. They did everything that they were supposed to do. We were happy with them. They didn't charge for this visit. After this we didn't have any other trouble. We plan on using them again in the future if needed.

They call me when it is time for the regular check-up and set an appointment. They give me a window of 4 hours time either in the morning or afternoon of which they will come out. They always show up on time and sometimes call if they have an earlier opening that day to see if I want them to come out earlier. They are very organized and professional. He is also always taking care to watch that he doesn't track dirt in.

This company was great! They serviceman told me I did NOT need a new pump, I just needed to bleed my radiators. Then he showed me how. He didn't even charge me for a service call! (The previous company charged me $60, barely looked at the boiler, and told me I needed a new $600 pump.). You'd better believe that the next time I need heating or air conditioner repair, I'll call them!

Our AC had gone out on one of the hottest days of the year (temp was above 100 deg.). I had called a number of companies trying to find who could be at our home the quickest. I called Morgner around 9:30 AM and they gave me a window of 11 am - 2 pm and said they would call when they were on their way. They called back at 10:15 and said a technician was on his way!!! Within 15 minutes of being there, the technician had diagnosed the problem and made the repair.

Morgner responded quickly, arrived when promised, and completed the work in a very professional manner. All work was explained. The repairman brought shoe covers to protect our floors and keep them from getting tracked up, since he had to make several trips inside and back outside to complete the job. We were extremely happy with their service and price.

The foreman arranged to call to discuss options. He was very knowledgeable and answered questions very clearly. The workman was very efficient, very pleasant, and left the work area tidy. Upon inspection by city inspector, praise was offered on how the unit was installed.

Very positive. Morgner sent out an engineer to make a recommendation on our new system. He gave us several options at several different prices and was clear about which he thought best. The crew arrived promptly and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done.

The estimator came when he said he would and gave us all the information we needed as well as the bid for the work. Their bid was in the middle range of the other ones that we received. The workers called before they came and seemed very professional. The next day they called to ask if we had any more questions. We were very satisfied with the experience and would use them again.

THE SALES APPROACH WAS PROFESSIONAL AND FACTUAL; THIS HELPED US MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION ON A MAJOR PURCHASE. THE FOLLOW-UP INSTALLATION OF THE EQUIPMENT CONTINUED WITH THE SAME DEGREE OF PROFESSIONALISM THAT WE EXPERIENCED FROM THE START.

OUR AIR CONDITIONER BROKE, NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I WAS PLEASED WITH MORGNER & KEVIN MULHOLLAND WHO CAME TO OUR HOME FOR THE ESTIMATE. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE & PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS ALSO VERY SYMPATHETIC SINCE IT WAS HOT & HUMID SO HE GOT THE WORK DONE QUICKLY. THEY WERE NOT THE LOWEST ESTIMATE BUT I FEEL WE GOT THE MOST FOR OUR MONEY & HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR COMPANY.

EXCELLENT! CAME THE SAME DAY I CALLED (IT WAS EXTREMELY HOT AND THEY WERE BUSY, AND THEY STILL CAME THE SAME DAY); CALLED AHEAD OF TIME AS REQUESTED SO I COULD MEET THEM AT MY HOUSE. VERY FRIENDLY. TOLD ME UP FRONT WHAT IT WOULD COST. I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE AND WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

I AM HIRING THEM AGAIN. I HAVE AN UNUSUAL BRAND OF A FURNACE THAT HAS A HUMIDIFIER ON IT, AND HAVE HAD A HARD TIME WITH OTHER SERVICE PROBLEMS BECAUSE OF THIS. THIS COMPANY WAS ABLE TO SERVICE IT WITH NO PROBLEM. THEY WERE ABLE TO ANSWER ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. THEY WERE VERY POSITIVE AND REASSURING.

THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB IN ALL RESPECTS. VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY MAY COST A LITTLE MORE, BUT ARE WELL WORTH IT FOR THE PEACE OF MIND OF KNOWING THE JOB IS DONE RIGHT.

THE INSTALLATION TEAM WAS ON TIME AND PREPARED, WITH TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT. FINISHED SOONER THAN EXPECTED. I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH MORGNER IN THE FUTURE. EXCELLENT WORK; POLITE, CLEAN, AND THOROUGH.

THEY ARE PROMPT . THEY LET YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHEN THEY ARE COMING. THEY CALL YOU A HALF HOUR BEFORE THEY COME. THEY ARE VERY POLITE.

I TRUST THEM. THEY WERE REASONABLE AND VERY NICE.
