Michael's Work

He did a good job. He came soon after I purchased the Big Deal. He was late but called after the fact.

The gutters were cleaned as requested. The only negative was scheduling of the work. They always wanted to reschedule if the forecast called for rain. Despite it being sunny at the time of the cancellation.

He called us and left a message. When we called him back, his phone was disconnected. He became non responsive. We couldn't get ahold of him and we got a refund from Angie's List.

They were around in the back of the house where it is not easy for us to clean the gutters out. They did the work as it was advertised, the worth. They immediately coded up again which was not really their fault, that's the way the trees around our house are.

The service was great. He was able to come out within a day of calling.

It went great. Only took him two hours. Great.

Very good work. Pleasant. I have used them twice and will use them again.

It did not go as well as it should. I bought a coupon for gutter cleaning from Angie's List. The winter weather did have an impact on scheduling. The first two times we were scheduled had to be cancelled because of bad weather which I understood. Communication started to get pretty sketchy at this point. Michael's Work notified us three times that they would be out but just didn't show up...weather was OK...no notification I checked my Angie's List emails to confirm this. They showed up yesterday to do the work which appears to be done well and professionally. However, they told my wife that there would be an additional $40 charge because of the size of our house. Fortunately, I came home before they were finished and showed them the actual coupon which had no such restrictions. I wouldn't pay the additional $40. The worker was pleasant during this exchange and said he would take the coupon back and explain to Michael. It went well. It took a little while to get him out here due to weather but otherwise the work was completed quickly and they cleaned up any mess from the leaves.

I emailed the man and he came. Fair price. There will be more work for him in the future. Great job!!!

I would recommend Michael's Work and am happy with their work, price and courtesy. I am having them do more work for me and appreciate their recommendations.

He had sent a couple employees over to do work. The work was ok, but a ring was missing after the workmen left a day or two later. I don't think that the workers were background checked. We contacted him and he said his employees denied it.

At first it was fine. I had to reschedule first time due to business, I did so in advance. The second time- they no showed and said there was miscommunication. Then They did not come the next week. I scheduled again and had to go out of town so I provided ten days in a row and about the 8th day, they said they were booked. I don't have the time for this. I also expect that I lived a distance from their establishment. Oh and one time they could not come because the truck was broken and two other times because there was snow on the ground. Seriously???

It went well . Everything went smooth as I knew it would.

I called him to schedule the painting. He did not get back to me. I called him several times over a period of several months. He never responded. I called Angie's list at no got a full refund. Then he started calling me. I told him I had received a refund and was not interested anymore. He called me two more times after this with the same thin occurring.

no call, no show. This is a very unprofessional place who doesn't keep appointments or even bother to call the person to let them know. As a matter of fact, to this day I have never heard from them again. Buyer Beware. I would never recommend them to anyone. I thought this kind of service would not be allowed on Angies List.

Everything went fantastic. The guys came out within one day of me emailing them. Called me after they received my email and set appointment to come out the next day. Gave me a great bid. We will have them back out.

It was good. The guy who came out did a great job. He ended up coming out in August but that was my doing and not his and he did not charge anything beyond the big deal price. He just cleaned my gutters so it was not anything like a finish job.

It went well. These guys did everything I requested. The work was solid. My only complaint--one of the workers was a supervisor or manager and spent a portion of his time at my house outside on the cell phone, conducting other work-related business. This was a shade better than taking personal calls, but it was still time away from the projects I had for them. Still, I would use this service provider again. And both were extremely knowledgeable and professional.

I was not very satisfied with the work. They did not sand down the patch work, which left lumps on the walls. They did not do a very good job. They were nice. I had to have someone else come to re-do their work.

This worked out well. They were very clean during and after job. They were prompt and timely for the work. They were responsive in telling me where they were with the scheduling because of weather. I see nothing to improve on and I am very satisfied with the service.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went really well. Being outside, I didn't pay much attention to it, but they were clean and efficient. They didn't leave the muck that came out of my gutters all over the ground, so it was good.

We highly recommend them. They did an excellent job. They worked very hard. They took very little breaks. They finished on time like they said they would. Everything that they were required to do, they did it all and it was all done in one day. We did get an extra charge but they stayed an extra half an hour.

They arrived after dark, did poor job of trimming and left smaller branches all over |sidewalk and around bushes. They were supposed to return to clean up and never did.

When I told him what I wanted he didn't seem excited. I also told him I wasn't in a hurry. He said he would call me back but I never heard back from him.
