Marcela's Cleaning

Marcela is great and she has a great staff. I now have my house cleaned every 3 weeks by her crew.

They were on time. They handled it just fine. They are very cooperative and helpful.

We contacted several cleaning services after our housekeeper had to have emergency surgery and would require several months of rest and rehab. Marcela responded quickly, gave us a very fair estimate, and was able to fit us into the schedule right away. Her team was always exactly on time, friendly, and thorough. I consider myself to have a very high standard when it comes to housecleaning, and her company met or exceeded those standards every time. They were always willing to address specific areas or requests that I had. Compared to other estimates we received, their price was very competitive - but the value received for that price was really what sealed the deal. Should our housekeeper be unable to continue working now that she has recovered, we would contact Marcela immediately and get back in the rotation. A big bravo and a huge thank you to her and her team!

They cleaned everything asked of them including appliances, shelves, cabinets, etc. Very professional, on time and courteous. Will use again without question.

They arrived on time and cleaned like the pros they are. I don't think the house has EVER been this clean! Remarkable service.

On a Tuesday afternoon, I contacted Marcela for an estimate to clean my house every other week. She came to my house the next day, to see exactly what the job would entail and gave me an estimate on the spot. On the day of the cleaning, a team of 3 arrived. I was not home while the cleaning occurred, but I was very impressed with the results. My family and I spent the next several days remarking about how clean everything was. The crew was very thorough. They cleaned things, that I had never thought to clean before and that my prior company was most definitely not cleaning. I am very pleased and highly recommend this company.

She was very professional. I thought they were a little high on the price they quoted with me but after seeing the results and what they did and how long they were there I felt like I overpaid. The reason I had them come in was because I had hardwood floors and they were very dirty so I thought by bringing in the cleaning service that they could get them do what I wanted and that was the one thing they couldn't fix. They did everything okay but the floors were my big deal and they couldn't do it. I ended up having to do it myself.

My fiance and I just recently bought a 104 year old home. We were so busy with planning the wedding, packing, working, I was studying for a big test that my parents as our new house present offered to pay to have it cleaned. I was so grateful so I began researching companies. I called several and Marcela was incredibly prompt with her response and also quick to get us on the books to come out and take a look. Marcela was prompt on her arrival for the free in-home estimate and very professional. She spent some time looking around, opening drawers, the oven, the toilets, etc. She then quoted me a price which seemed EXTREMELY reasonable and the best thing...THEY CAME BACK THAT DAY! I was so excited because I desperately wanted to begin unpacking boxes and moving things into the rooms. She and her crew of FIVE women came back at 4:00 and got to work. I left because I had a few errands to do and about 1 and 1/2 hour later she calls me saying they were almost done. My fiance and I then came over and Marcela began walking us through the house. She showed us what they had done and a few areas where they had problems (one of the screens of the windows would not come out so they couldn't fully clean it), The house smelled fantastic and they got in so many places I had even forgotten about! Not only was the house immaculate, the amount we paid was very affordable. I will definitely be using their services again.

They are polite, careful, and professional.

They show up on time, clean thoroughly -- first time kitchen tile grout has been sparkling in years -- and email you an invoice. I can't say enough about them.....they clean bathrooms to their shiniest, the kitchen and laundry area are immaculate and the whole house is wonderful.

The experience was outstanding. My home was in the worst condition in the 28 years that I have lived here. Marcela came and evaluated the work several days prior to the service and provided and estimate for the initial cleaning and bi-weekly maintenance. I had special requirements associated with my hardwood floors that was labor intensive. I regret that I did not take before and after pictures which would clearly illustrate my description. I was ashamed of the condition of my home and wanted to clean it myself but can no longer do so. The personnel were courteous and meticulous to detail. They are the best that I have ever used. Highly Recommend. A++++. I do not see where I can nominate this company for POH but they deserve it.

Marcela was great. I emailed Marcela and she got back to me quickly, we setup a time to meet the following day. Marcela was efficient and quick with her quote and we agreed on a price to deep clean the house. The town home was occupied for 2 years and had some pretty bad areas of dirt and grime, mainly in the bathrooms. Marcela had a same day appointment, based on a cancellation. Within 3 hours and 4 workers the place looked an smelled amazing! I would recommend Marcela and team to anyone, fair prices and fantastic work!! Thanks Again!

They are very professional and very thorough. The last time I had my house cleaned, it wasn't as thorough as I expected. I called the manager, and they were back within 30 minutes, and did a great job.

Marcela is scrupulously prompt in her correspondence; I made an appt for an in-home estimate, received a quote, and scheduled the service all within one week. Because this was a big job, Marcela arrived with a team of 6 and loads of equipment. She's careful to vet her cleaning products (e.g. I preferred a steam cleaner on my floors in lieu of Bruce hardwood floor cleaner). Marcela supervised her team with a soft firmness, asking them to re-check or re-do areas that were not up to standard. The whole house was spotless in 5 hours... baseboards, hardwood floors, wood blinds, kitchen and baths. The job wasn't cheap, but it was good value for the money. Above all, it was a job well done. $100 was quoted for the carpet cleaning (one staircase, landing and bedroom). The balance was for the rest of the house cleaning. Every job is quoted individually after an inspection of the home in advance. I have recommended Marcela to several friends and would hire her team again.

Have had a very good experience. Cleaning covers 3 bedrooms 2-1/2 baths, living room, dining room, kitchen, and family room. Have been using the service since late October. Usually a crew of 2 cleans house, but have had as many as 4. Arrive on time. Do a good job of cleaning. Definitely recommend the service.

Marcella set an appointment for 8:30 am on 04/08/2013 with me to give us an estimate on deep cleaning our house. I stayed home from work to meet with her early on Monday. I was looking forward to working with her. She never showed up. No phone call. I left a message on her phone at about 10 am explaining the situation and telling her I no longer wanted to work with her. I received no response.

I called Marcela because I needed a post construction deep cleaning for my home 2 days prior to our move. She immediately came to give me an estimate of $325 for our 7600 sq ft home. She said this would include a crew of 5 women. I was beyond Impressed with the price as I assumed it would be much more for what I needed done for my home. I was even more impressed with the job. They left the house spotless down to each detail. I liked their work so much that I have hired them on a weekly basis to clean everything except the finished basement which gets done once a month for $140. I love the fact that the same 3-4 women come every week and they are extremely friendly and conscientious with their work. I would highly recommend them!

They are very good! They pretty much clean everything they say they will, they do a good job. Every one in awhile you can tell when the supervisor is there or not, but overall it has been a good experience!

I met with Marcela, who is the owner. during our initial meeting, we set a rate for cleaning. we negotiated and finally landed at a price i could afford on a weekly basis. for the first cleaning, i gave her double the amount, as it was the first time, and the team had to get used to the house. they started cleaning in August 2012. at Christmastime, my husband, who was paying her each week, gave her a Christmas bonus. when i found out how much he was giving her, i asked why so much? it turns out he was giving her the doubled amount each week! i immediately called Marcela and she insisted this was what we agreed on. i told her to look at her sheet she had when she first came over, because she had written the rate on the sheet. She replied that we never agreed to the amount i discussed. from my perspective, i know what i agreed to, because i know what i wanted to pay each week. for her to tell me it wasn't was a lie, and i could no longer trust someone who betrays my trust. i asked if we could come to an agreement and she said no. obviously, she didn't need my business so we both moved on. i would be happy to answer any questions on this.

We have been using Marcela's service for a few months and have had nothing but good experiences. Her team comes out once a week and leaves the house spotless and smelling fresh.

Marcela was extremely prompt in scheduling a time to actually come to my home to give me an accurate quote for weekly cleaning. After agreeing on a price, Marcela called to verify the day prior to cleaning. My house looked beautiful when I arrived home that evening, without a strong odor of cleaning products. I recommend this service highly.

I decided at the last minute (Thursday afternoon) that I couldn't get all the cleaning I wanted to do completed before a Saturday evening party. I phoned Marcela's Cleaning and Marcela answered; she said they could indeed get a crew to me on Saturday, but wanted to survey my home before she would quote a price. We agreed to meet on Friday at 5pm She phoned me about 4:20 to ask if she could come by early, which was fine. English is not her first language, so there was not much small talk,but I would not say she was unfriendly. She surveyed the home and quoted me a fair price. She came on Saturday promptly with her team and the ladies worked very hard for the three hours they were in my home. They spoke to each other pleasantly as they went about their work, but were not wasting time with socializing; they surprised me by offering to change the sheets on the beds (we hadn't discussed this) and I was very happy with the cleanliness of my home in such a short time and on such short notice. I would definitely call them again, however I would want to make clear to them to put things back where they found them. While I appreciate that they moved things (stacks of papers, a coffee maker, etc) to do a proper cleaning job (again, excellent work performed) I would prefer they returned them to where they were so I didn't have to hunt things down. (Let me be clear, nothing was missing, just found in different parts of the rooms). Marcela and her team were pleasant and professional and the job was well done!

Marcella was very prompt in getting back to me for a quote. I have her team clean every two weeks, and they do a fantastic job! They are also very flexible, if I need to change a date or time for my cleaning. I like that Marcella will text or call to remind me when they are coming. Very easy to communicate with. But, more importantly, they do a great job in leaving the house spotless and clean!! She's a keeper :)!! I just wish I would have called her sooner to clean my house, instead of waiting. Don't hesitate and call her now! You'll be glad you did:)

Based on Angie's List reviews I contacted Marcela's Cleaning on 12/3/2012. I explained I was having a large party on 12/9/2012 and wanted the first floor of my home cleaned. Marcela came on 12/4/12, looked over the house, took copious notes on what I wanted and didn't want and set up an cleaning appointment for Saturday morning. She and her crew arrived promptly, she took them through the house, and they went to work, which was made more complicated than usual as the house was decorated for Christmas. When I returned three hours later it was incredible. Everything was spotless, orderly, and shining. The grout on the kitchen floor was actually white again! Marcela and her people obviously take pride in their work and want to satisfy their customers. It was a pleasure to have them in my home. I feel the fee charged for the service performed was very reasonable. They did a wonderful job. I plan on having them back, hopefully before Christmas and then on a regular basis. I feel very comfortable recommending Marcela's Cleaning.
