Marcela's Cleaning

Very thorough, very prompt, did what they were contracted to do. Price was very reasonable for an entire team of cleaners. Marcela did the estimate and contracting. She supervised the crew from afar, and was always available if the crew or I had questions. They spent the entire day on the job, yet were very flexible as they had to work around the interior house painter. They did not complain as I apologized, they stayed focused. It started great, the team of the three girls where great, They got right to it, cleaned really well. It went well for about two months, then problem with communications started. Every time they where scheduled they would arrive 30 minutes late or more, sometimes they would not show up, and with no phone call, and when I finally was able to contact her, there was always an excuse. I have five children, and one with special needs, I need somebody reliable and responsible, and Marcela's cleaning is not. I was going on vacation, so I cancelled cleaning for two weeks, as I'm leaving for the airport, they show up to clean, this was all done through texting so I still have proof that that conversation took place. One week later she texted me also saying she was coming again. Sorry but I'm still on vacation. I just can't take care of this unprofessionalism. Very sad, I tried but just could not handle this disorganization any more. Moving on.

They are reasonable. I don't find it too expensive. They do decent work. We had a few scheduling glitzes here and there, not knowing exactly when they were coming. It was a little confusing, but we've been able to work it out. They show up, they do the work and they get out of here, so it's good. We like them and have employed them for over a year now.

They do a great job and are very thorough. The owner, Marcela, was very quick to respond. She came to the first visit, asked what I needed and, actually, did more than I asked for. She did a super job. We request the same team every time and they do a really good job. We use this company regularly.

Owner of the company came out and gave us a price which I was concerned that it was a little on the high side at 120.00 but I took into consideration that we have almost 3000 sq feet and 3 kids a dog and a cat and I thought let's give it a try, needless to say we are very pleased with our decision to go with Marsala Cleaning, very through punctual as well as accommodating. Marsala always text the day before to male sure we are on for the cleaning which has worked well and she always gives an expected time of arrival. Quality in the work and communication cannot be better as for as I am concerned. Very Satisfied Customer

there was a huge task ahead of them. my mother lived in the basement for 9 months and was not the cleanest of people. i am 7 months pregnant and didn't want the task of cleaning it. they came in and completely cleaned everything, including the carpets! they were able to get stains out of the carpet i thought would be there forever. they also managed to get rid of the smell that was just lingering! i am so impressed with the job they did. i will definitely be using this company again! i am beyond happy with the service i received

I have never hired house cleaning done before, but when we purchased a different home, I decided to check into the cost of just having the home completely cleaned, prior to moving in. There was so much going on I wanted to help my wife out by taking this one chore off her list. I wanted to try and get the house cleaned very shortly after closing on the house so to do this Marcela met my realtor at the house to do a walk through to be able to give me an estimate. As I said, I have never hired a cleaning service before, but from a little research I did, I felt Marcela's bid was very fair and acceptable, so I hired her and her staff. In addition to the 2,000 square foot upstairs of the ranch style one level house that we requested the estimate on, Marcela added a quick sweeping of the full basement that was in the process of being finished by the previous owner, plus clean the basement windows and clean any cobwebs that were in the basement. We had everything set up for the day after closing, but the closing date was pushed back one week at the last minute, but Marcela was very flexible and rescheduled for the following Saturday morning, following our Friday afternoon closing. Marcela and her crew arrived promptly at the agreed time and began work. My wife let them in and she went on to run errands and came back when Marcela called and said they were done. Marcela did a walk through of the finished job with my wife and my wife was more than satisfied with their work. Marcela was always polite, courteous and efficient and was very good at communicating back and forth with me via email, my preferred avenue. We will definitely use Marcela and her crew the next time we are in need of any cleaning services.

We have had the same regular cleaning person for a number of years. Due to illness in her family, we had to make a temporary switch. We explained that to Marcela, who was willing to fill in the gap for us. Within two hours of contacting Marcela, she came to our home to give us an estimate. She explained in careful detail what her team would do for the price, and assured us that they would do what we asked. We will definitely use Marcela's service again, as the need arises. She has assured us that she understands our loyalty to our "regular" person, and that she will be available in the future if we need her services.

She does a thorough housecleaning. She has a team that she works with. At a given time we will have four cleaners working so they are able to do the work quickly. Marcella is good about fitting us in for appointments, we usually call the week of. They do a great job overall.

I had to try to rework the floormarks that the wheels put down. It is not their fault but does make you feel bad._

We have a large home. The price for cleaning both initial and biweekly is very reasonable. Marcela herself is very professional, but friendly and warm. Her staff were here and did a terrific job in pretty good time- I am very pleased with this company and have already recommended them to a friend!

The person on the phone wanted all of my personal information, full name, address, phone numbers, emails and everything before even answering if they service my area. When I said that I would not give all my personal info until I became their customer, she hung up.

I had a coupon for them from Angie’s List. She was professional and knowledgeable. They did a good job and everything was well cared for. They were careful of the items that they had to do in order to do the cleaning. They were co-operative in terms of specific request for cleaning.

They are always on time and do a good job.

Found this cleaning service on Angie's list. Marcela came out for a consultation and 3 members of her staff cleaned for the first time in November 2013. What an improvement over my previous cleaning service. They were very thorough, brought their own equipment and supplies and got the job done quickly. Little touches, like folding the toilet paper, neatly arranging my kids stuffed animals and cleaning under all couch cushions made a huge difference to me. I have now used them several times and will continue to do so.

I am very satisfied with the service that Marcela's provides. They maids arrive on time and do a thorough job.

I wasn't impressed with her estimate. I felt like she priced my house before she came over - and I've got a small house (1100 square feet). Her estimate was 4x higher (nearly $400) than any other housecleaner's estimate. She was very short with me too.

There was a team of three women who arrived 10 minutes early and got right to work. They were very thorough, going right at the stains in the grout in the tiles. I liked that they did a lot of the floor cleaning with vinegar and water instead of chemicals. They stayed just under two hours and did a "normal clean" (i.e. clean the stove top and front of stove but not inside of stove).

I really liked how well the three women cleaned my home. They did an excellent job. My only complaint is tha they kept pushing back the gtime they were going to show up. They were here for about 4hrs and didn't leave until 830pm. If they had shown up at 9am like they were supposed too then I would not have wasted my entire day at home waiting for them to show i.

I contacted Marcella on her website from the link on Angie's List. She called me that day. We set up an appointment for her to do a walk-through of my house to get a bid. She told me what they would clean in each room. I sent Marcella a text the day before our appointment and she called and we decided on a time the cleaning people would come. The 3 women were on time and went right to work. They asked me to inspect the work before they left. The house was very clean and they included some things that I didn't expect: changing sheets, ceiling fan blades, blinds, and inside/outside patio door. The house also smelled very good after they left. They wet mop the floors and do not wash floors on their hands and knees (I was expecting hand washing), consequently, I had to hand clean behind one of the toilets where the mop didn't reach. That was the only cleaning I needed to do. Marcella didn't give the women an invoice and they didn't know how much she had quoted me. She quoted me $150, but I had a coupon from Angie's List and asked if that could be applied. Since the women didn't know anything about that and I couldn't remember what the percentage off would be, I just paid the total amount.
