M&P Window Washing & Gutter Cleaning

M&P were amazing! I will never have anyone else clean my gutters again! And, based on the great ;job they did on my gutters, I'm going to hire them for my window cleaning in the future! M and P were very friendly, funny, kind of comedy team and most importantly they did a very thorough job! I love that this is a LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS and the owners are the ones who do the work! I am a former Aerotech customer and have been disappointed in the quality of their work.. So happy I found M&P

They are always punctual, courteous, clean, and very thorough. This year, they came on a Sunday to do a gutter cleaning so that they could make sure it was done before it dropped below freezing. They provide a fair price, are responsive to calls, and Mark personally comes out with his crew most times that he can. Highly recommend. We have referred them to neighbors who are similarly happy with their service.

Very friendly and prompt, they came out the next day. They also found a faulty part of the gutter that needed fixing.

We needed our gutters cleaned ASAP because they were backed up and causing water to get into the house. I called and it was done within 30 minutes. AMAZING!!!!!!!

Called and left a message. They called back and scheduled a time to come out and do the gutters. Called back about 2 hours later and said they were on their way, wanted to get it done because there was a lot of rain coming. Made a quick job of it. The rain came, a lot of it, and my basement is dry. Very happy, will use them again.

I thought they were good. They gave me some helpful information for things to consider in the future. They were timely and the quality of work was good. I would call on them again.

The windows looked good; however, they scratched a new laid wood floor when moving furniture to get to the window and did not tell us. They either displaced an alarm sensor on the window, replaced it incorrectly and didn't tell us, thus needing to pay $92 to have the alarm company to come out and fix it.

'I have used M & P for years (biannually at another house). I called for an estimate (new house), one of them came (I still don't know which is which) looked and gave me a verbal estimate after telling me the problem--previous owner had screwed down metal covers which would not allow cleaning but did allow all the seeds etc from one tree to get in and clog. He also gave me an estimate for biannual cleaning ($90). He said they would be back the next week. I don't remember if it was the next week or week after (so much rain). I knew they would return as they always proved themselves to be very reliable. They came yesterday and did the work and left an invoice. They have also washed windows for me in another house and were very thorough. I feel their prices are very reasonable. They are reliable, pleasant, neat and do the work well.

I had called another company to clean our gutters approximately two weeks ago. We were told they would come out the following week and get the job done. They never showed up. When I called them at the beginning of the week they said they would get the job done sometime this week but wouldn't give a date. This is what they had told me the week before and never showed up. I had a lawn service crew scheduled for Wed. to lay mulch and was in panic mode. I went to Angie's List and started making phone calls. M&P didn't answer the phone so I called the next on the list and they said two weeks out. Then, in my surprise, Mark called me back from his caller ID and asked if he could help. I explained the situation and he said he could sense a little stress and he would get the job done tomorrow! He came with another employee. They cleaned out all our gutters and removed and cleaned up all debris. That is service above and beyond! Kindness seems lost these days with many service providers. Mark knew we were in a jam to get this done before the mulch was to be laid and he stepped up and made it happen. I will be shouting out this companies praise as often as I can. Bravo to them!

Left voice message, Mark Thompson called back promptly. Gave estimate over phone and said service would be in the next week. Came home and found service was performed say day! Impressive but did not bag up the leaves, maybe that cost extra. Update: Mark left voice message, made me aware debris, limbs and leaves were removed from roof, which for $80 is a very good deal:). I appreciate him letting me know and look forward to doing business with M & P in the future. Thank You

They are always prompt and quick but thorough. They clean up all the debris from the gutters in the yard and driveway as well as get up on the roof and remove all debris from the valleys and roof. They will also alert me if there are any clogs in the down spouts that need to be addressed. With the window cleaning they clean the windows and wipe down the sills and screens.

We are repeat customers who continue to recommend M&P. They always do an amazing job for us and our friends. Thanks for making our home look so good! Cheers!!

The company was very responsive to my message to schedule service. I was told the service would be completed within the following 2 weeks, but that they could not give an exact date/time of service. We were not required to be home at the time of service. A yellow paper would be left on our front door explaining the work that was done and the cost for service. All of this occurred as expected. Surprisingly the service occurred within a few days of scheduling, and the price was reasonable. My only complaint is that the workers left quite a mess around our house. On the ground around the house wherever gutters were hung clumps of debris ("helicopter" seeds from trees mixed with shingle cinders) were left behind. These were found on our deck, in our yard, and even on our hanging flower baskets on our front porch. If they would have cleaned up the work area I would have given an overall A rating. But my disappointment in the mess left behind compels me to give this company a B rating.

We have used M&P for years to clean our gutters. Their service has been consistently top-drawer. For this last visit, they were punctual and resolved the issue at a reasonable price.

Professional, courteous, quality provider. Arrived on time, cleaned area after completion. Fast. Would definitely use again.

The provider brought everything they needed to do the job; they were quick, efficient, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. The windows were sparkling when they were done.

Great. Have used them two years now, and they even called to remind me about this year.

Response to M&P: A window-cleaning company that admits to cleaning skylights with a broom should not be in business. I quoted the price of my skylights to let M&P know how valuable they are. I don't think anyone would want to have their skylights cleaned with a broom, and the fact M&P has admitted to doing that is evidence of their unprofessionalism I hired M&P to clean dirty windows. They were dirty and they should have been cleaned, not swept, as they have admitted to doing. After the bad work by M&P, I used Bradley Gutter Co. to clean the gutters at my home that M&P failed to accomplish. M&P did nothing to remove the screens on the gutters on the sides of my porch which had no outlet. Bradley Gutter Co. removed them and cleaned out any debris. On the gutters, M&P swept them also; whereas, Bradley Gutter Co. used a blower and made sure to remove the screens where the could not get debris out. Most importantly, Bradley did not insist on doing the job in a driving rain. M&P has rewritten their response numerous times and I don't anticipate them keeping the response where they admit to cleaning skylights with a broom, but I have recorded their response. The fact that Angie's List allows a contractor to write, then delete and rewrite a response numerous times until the contractor gets his story straight is proof enough for me that I will not reuse Angie's List as a contractor review method when my contract comes up for renewal. - - - - I am updating this review because the box checked said "Services not performed," so I changed it to read "Services Performed." I am hoping more attention will be given to this F review by other Angie's List consumers by having corrected the error on the review. This spring I was again reminded of the permanent damage M&P caused to the skylights on my home in addition to the fact they only swept the screens instead of cleaning out the gutters. I have asked Angie's List to address this issue with M&P. M&P ignored my complaint on Angie's List regarding the damage to my home yet Angie's List continues to advertise for them. Very unprofessional. They used sharp-edged brooms to swipe and wash the skylights, the same brooms they swept the gutters with. They would not remove the screens on the gutters to get the leaves out of the gutters. I called and told them in the morning I did not want them to do the job as it was going to rain heavily that afternoon, but they came to my home anyway and it started pouring at that time. I wanted them to stop, went outside to tell them, but they ignored my request, stating if they stopped working every time it rained, they would never work. I had called them in the morning on Friday because they had not arrived midweek to do the job, as they promised. I watched how they cleaned the skylights from inside. I argued that the skylights were not cleaned properly. All they did was sweep the dirty skylights using a sharp-edged broom and water, no cleaning materials, a paper towel in hand. The gentleman raised his voice loudly and argued with me when I explained I was not happy with the job. He removed the charge for the skylights because I was dissatisfied regarding their work. I wrote a check for the discounted amount to get them out of my driveway. Viewing the skylights on the newer edition of my home the next day, there are long scratch marks on all three large skylights where they used the broom. The skylights have been cleaned on the inside, so it's very clear they have damaged the windows using the broom.

The reviews on Angie's List that were already there showed like they were doing a good job and the price is reasonable.

Mark was prompt, courteous, did a great job. I haven't had my gutters cleaned in a while and they were pretty bad so he apologized for some of the debris on the ground (large limbs from roof) which couldn't be helped. Took me only 10 minutes to clean-up and bag them. He offered to give me a deep discount on future work if I keep up with things. He did the work while I was at work and he left an invoice. Great job!!!

They wanted to schedule for a later date than I hoped since the weather was turning bad, but when they learned I was having a water leak issue, they sent someone out the next day - didn't even tell me. Just showed up and left a bill in the mailbox. Very nice service!

Mark called me to let me know he was going to come by to clean my gutters and came as promised. After everything was done, there was no mess around the area.

Had emergency need on cold, rainy Saturday as water was coming in basement due to plugged gutter overflowing. They worked me in to busy schedule- efficient fast courteous service - reasonably priced. Will use them again for spring window washing

The service went very well. After reading reviews on Angie's List, I called and left a voicemail. Not ten minutes had passed when I received a return call! The guys came out the very next day, but we'd had our driveway sealed that morning so they could not perform the service (I didn't know they would come out that fast so I failed to mention that the drive was being sealed tomorrow). They came out the following day and got the job done in about 45 mins to an hour. They cleaned up the leaves that had fallen all around the ladder onto the grass and sidewalk/patio. I paid them on the spot and they put me on their list for October. Couldn't have been easier. Nice guys and hard workers too. They appreciated my business.
