LIKE NEW AGAIN CARPET CLEANING

Very good. Did a great job, and came back for touch-ups.

Everything was fine. Like New Again was able to remove dirt and stains that other companies had told me could not be removed. Some pet stains that they attempted to remove were still somewhat visible, so they came back without hesitation to try again.

They did a great job and were very professional from start to finish. They answered all my questions over the phone and the person who came to clean was very nice and thorough on a sofa that wasn't the easiest to clean. Excellent customer service.

Our cleaner arrived on time, was friendly and courteous. He explained how he would proceed, asked if the estimate sounded fair, and then after our permission, began the work. I am VERY pleased with the results. There were several pet stains in various places downstairs, which he completely removed. I had broken a bottle of red wine about nine months ago, and although I didn't expect the stain to be removed, he was able to greatly diminish the stain to where it is now almost unnoticeable. Our dirty old carpet is just as the company's name says, like new again! The owner, Frank Mooney, called us the following business day to verify we were completly satisfied with his service. We will definitely use this company again.

I have used them a couple times and at my mother?s home. They are great. They are so in to what they do; all their employees are this way. They love their job and they do a really good job.

They did good work. They were very professional. They also did a very good job. The staff is pleasant, and they do a thorough job.

I called Frank on monday and we discussed my carpet. He asked if the carpet was nylon or polyester, I told him I did not know. We made an appointment for Kim to come out the next day. When she arrived, she immediately determined that my carpet was polyester and we would not be happy if they tried to clean it. She explained that stains, discoloration and the deep impressions from previous furniture will not come out of polyester. We are very appreciative of her honest assessment of the situation and the very constructive suggestions she made. We would call them, should we have nylon or wool carpet to clean in the future. I am a new Angie's list member. Joined last weekend to find a good carpet cleaner because we haven't been satisfied with previous ones. We had a Thanksgiving "accident" on the carpet that needed immediate attention. I tripped over the cat and spilled a whole bowl of gravy. We cleaned it as good as we could but it was awful looking. The cat also lapped up so much of the gravy he threw up on the living room carpet... another mess. We identified Like New Again as the business to try since they had so many excellent reports. We called them Monday, Nov 29, AM and Frank had a truck at our house early the next morning. The woman did an outstanding job, even managed to remove some old stains the last two cleaners couldn't get out. I was surprised the next day to get a follow up call checking to make sure the job was well done. I wouild recommend Like New Agian Carpet Cleaners to anyone.

Overall I couldn't have had a better experience. So close to Thanksgiving I thought they would rush through so they could cram in as many customers as possible. Not so. Mike worked until the job was done, in a timely manner. My company thought I had new carpeting!

I called the owner to set up a time to clean the carpets and he called me back promptly. The appointment was scheduled for about a week out. The technician arrived on time and was very pleasant to deal with. This carpet is in a duplex I bought for my family members to live in, and the previous tenants in the apartment had really made a mess (allowed their children to draw/color on walls and big spills/stains on the carpets). I didn't expect miracles, given the condition of the carpet; I just wanted improvement. I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean he was able to get it.

Contacted owner Frank Mooney after reviewing his web site and Angie's List reviews. Chose company primarily because of the advertised "Mechanized Steam Cleaning" (Process). Mr. Mooney confirmed that they have a mechanized steam cleaner, but rarely use it, as it "requires too much time", and instead use the traditional "wand" type of extractor. (I wanted mechanized, because, as a property manager, I know that the standard "wand" does a poor job of cleaning.) I asked Mr. Mooney how he is able to make the carpets "Like New Again" using just the regular wand steam extractor. What he told me then was quite a surprise. As he advertises, Frank services quite a few Realtors in town with homes and properties that need to sell. He told me: "I am going to tell you something that I do not tell everyone...we actually dye the carpets that are the worst, to make them look like new again...". I was flabbergasted that he shared this. "What?", I said. "You mean that you actually dye the color of the carpet to make it look newer?". "Yes", he said, "that is the only way to get the results that the Realtors and the regular homeowners are looking for...". I was disappointed. "What about that mechanized machine that is on your website...can you make sure that you use that on my property? I don't want my carpet dyed, and I can get a regular 'wand' style cleaning anywhere." "Well, I'd have to charge you extra to use that, it takes longer to clean that way, and generally don't like to use it, unless the carpet is truly aweful." (By the way, the mecahnized steam cleaner that Frank shows on his web site, is QUITE a bit more impressive looking than the machine that actually shows up at your home.) Frank quoted me a price of $175 as an incentive to use him on all of our properties. He also guaranteed that he would use the mechaized cleaner to do the job. I looked forward to the appointment. When the technician showed up, everything changed. He took a look around at the amount of rooms that Frank had quoted me on, and said that Frank had underbid, and that "he does this all of the time". My new price would be $422.50. And, he was prepared to use the standard wand steam cleaner, instead of the mechanized. I. Was. Shocked. After explaining myself again to the technician, he said he would go out to the van, and call Frank. He then came back, and said, "how about $250, I think I can make that happen". I said OK. I just wanted to get the job done. It was Friday afternoon, I had movers coming the next morning. After the job was complete, I waited for the carpet to dry. After the carpet dried, we soon began to find out that the spots and discolored areas seen before the cleaning, had, in fact, stayed. The carpet was cleaner, but was FAR from "clean", and certainly NOT "like new again". Frank actually called a few days later to check in and see how it went. I could only convey my disapointment to him by saying that I was "underwhelmed", and that I thought the cleaning job was "just average". To be honest, I had trouble communicating with a company owner, who presented what I had experienced. I decided to try Angie's List because I had fired our previous provider, Spectrum Cleaning, for damaging and secretly splicing one of our carpets, and needed a new, recommended carpet cleaner. A few weeks after move-in, I decided to try my second choice from Angie's List, "True Clean" Carpets. Though I already had my furniture in, I wanted to see if anyone else could truly clean the carpet, which, by the the way, was far from aweful to begin with. True Clean was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!! Not only did they get EVERY spot and discoloration out, but they did it for LESS than "Like New Again's" initially agreed price of $175!!!! Now, two months later, the carpet is still TRULY clean. My advice, if you want your carpets average cleaned, or dyed, go to Frank. If you want your carpets truly clean, run, don't walk, to TRUE CLEAN!

Kim called and said she was running early, and I told her to come on over. She is incredibly polite and professional. She came with her trainee, Joe and they got right to work, did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. My furniture looks like new. They even got the dog hair! I am so pleased with the experience, I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any service they provide.

This steam cleaning process was the most successful process I have ever experienced. The results exceeded my expectations. I've had other cleaning companies come OUT and was not pleased with the results in prior years. This request for service was not looked upon with any great anticipation and was delayed for several years because I feared the SAD RESULTS. I delayed as long as possible. I AM VERY, VERY HAPPY with the RESULTS! I would recommend this company VERY HIGHLY!!

Overall, the entire experience went perfectly. I have had my carpet cleaned many times by several different companies, and this company was by far the very best. After the cleaning was complete, the carpets really were like new again. Kim, the techinican that came out, did a wonderful job. She arrived on time, was very efficient, and completed the work in a timely manner. I'm satisfied with their services and I would very highly recommend them.

We selected "Like New Again" Carpet cleaning based on all the outstanding Angies List reviews (they were multiple year Honor's) ... and we were not disappointed. They did a much better job overall than the service we used last year (Stanley Steamer). We dealt with Frank the owner who followed up the completion of the work to ensure we were satisfied. We found Kim, the cleaning specialist technition to be professional, consciencious and thorough. We will absolutely use "Like New Again Carpet Cleaning" again in the future and recommend them highly.

Danny came and measured the carpet in my living room, and found it to be about 200 sq ft. I then had him add the bedroom to get a little more out of the offer. My bedroom was less than 90 sq ft. Then Danny suggested he use the scrubber, since it had been 3 years since the last cleaning, I thought this a great idea. Danny spent about an hour cleaning and scrubbing, and it looked good when he was done but I was a little worried about how it would look when it was dry and told Danny this. To my supprize, the owner called me the next day to see if I was satisfied with Danny's work. I had to say that I still found the carpet durty in spots, not to say that Danny did a bad job, I think my carpet was just that durty. Anyway, we made arrangements for Danny to come again. He came, cleaned for about 20 minutes, and left. I can't say my carpet is like new again, but it is about 90% better than it was, and I must say don't wait to have your carpet cleaned especally if you have pets.

Went very well. Kim the service Technician cleaned a VERY dirty (2) Sectional Couch and Automan. I was very pleased. Honestly could not bellieve it came clean. The couch was in my basement and had been through 3 grandkids for 9 years.

I appreciated that they told me to buy new carpet instead of trying to clean the carpet and charging me for it. Everything went well. I love the way the carpets look when they are finished, because they are like new.

Like New Again?? I have to admit I was skeptical. However, based on excellent Angie's List member reviews I made the call. I called and left a message on a Saturday early afternoon, and when I hadn't heard anything back by Monday afternoon, I called again. Spoke directly to the owner, who assured me the goal was that my carpets be "Like New Again" I didn't want to mislead, so I explained that the marjority of the carpet in the house is 20 yrs old, and the newer stuff-- berber in the lower level -- I feared was ruined by a misbehaving cat (I think you know what I mean!) Still he assured me it would be fine-- better than fine.........it would be Like New Again! Appointment was scheduled for the very next day. Technician was on time and friendly. He measured all the rooms/halllways and stairs, and with the complimentary cleaning of the downstairs, I thought the price was certainly reasonable. He explained the process he would use on the especially offending area, and went to work. About 1.5 hrs later, he was finished. Carpets were barely damp- and felt completly dry within a few hours. I have to say the everything upstairs most definately did look Like New Again!! Downstairs, unfortunately, now smelled of vinegar and cat urine, which I was told would dissapate-- It did, to a degree. When called as a follow up the next day, I told him I had concerns about the downstairs-- and he very quickly assured me that often with pet stains a second trip is required. No problems with that! Second visit was the next day-- and by that evening, downstairs carpet was Like New Again!! I am very happy with my experience. Glad I joined Angie's List, and I would recommend this carpet cleaner to my friends & family!

The cleaner was on time and was very professional. He did an excellent job. The carpet had not been cleaned in five years and we have cats. Only one small stain did not come up. I am very pleased with the work.

Tech was ontime. The carpet in my basement is very old and was extreemly soiled and water stained. I am not ready to replace it just yet so I wanted it clean but did not expect it to come as clean as it did. I am very pleased with the way the carpet turned out. The grout in my ceramit tile was never sealed properly when we put it in 7 years ago and I have an asphalt drive way which does not help. Kim the tech worked hard and did a very good job. I will use "Like New Again", again.

Our carpet was gross. We have two dogs and the carpet is over 10 years old. Additionally, it is very light colored. When we decided to put our house on the market we chose to clean the carpet versus replacing it. I was really worried that the high traffic areas would never come clean. Not only did they get them clean, the whole house looked amazing! They also gave me some really great tips on getting the grout in my bathrooms clean. Nobody could believe the difference in our carpets.

Frank at Like New is always great to talk to and is very honest if he thinks he can do the job and sends someone out as soon as possible.

I was very impressed with this company. Kim, who did the work, was very nice and gave me some good tips about carpet cleaning. She was on time and worked hard. The carpets and sofas look great.
