Description of Work: I had not had the gutters cleaned yet. Was waiting for all the tree buds and stuff to finish so it would get cleaned in one swoop. I live in a 2 story flat roof house, so its one gutter across the back of the house. With the heavy rain and all the stuff backed up the water backed up under the roof and between the courses of bricks and it begain literally to rain inside my house from the header of the window. This was in the middle of the night. Fixing a temp stop gap to catch the water. The next day I called the company I used last time who installed screens and they could not come out as they were servicing all the customers who purchased a contract for regular clearning. ( I turned this down hmmm ) Anyway got on angies list. found this guy who could come out the next day. Was pleasent on the phone. professional. I offered extra money to come out that afternoon/eve and do it but he couldnt cuz he had promised a grandaughter to attend a soccer game.. That told me about his integrity which was good. . Anyway.. came out the next day before the rains hit again and got it aken care of in less than an hr. rate was 45/hr. Very pleased. Am looking to hire him for more jobs.

Description of Work: I had called Bob Goodman, Lighthouse Handyman, to see whether he would be willing to perform one very small task--installing a hose reeler on the side of my brick house. Bob agreed to do it, even though it was a very small job. Bob was precisely on time, extremely professional, quoted me an hourly rate. While there, Bob not only installed the hose reeler, he also fixed the latch on my gate and repaired something on my chandelier. I will definitely use his services again.

Description of Work: Our condo had a leak around the skylight of a flat roof, over an entry-way. Bob cleaned up the roof and then did the required patching.

Description of Work: Bob basically did a gut rehab of an old carriage house for us. It didn't really start out that way, but after Bob had primed the old paneling we decided to take everything out and start fresh. In retrospect it was a good thing, since a section of the masonry in the exterior wall had deteriorated. Bob also built a floor to ceiling custom cabinet for the room.

Description of Work: He fixed the bathroom drain, two different lights, put up an awning, installed a lock on the door, and other misc things.

Description of Work: He replaced our porch post that was rotten and rebuilt the railing. He built a closet for an attic bedroom complete with all doors, trim and primer. He installed closet doors on two other closets, patched some plaster, reattached some gutters and siding that had come down in a storm.
