The top was well made and delivered. They were very nice. I paid 50% up front and was waiting to be billed for the rest. Instead of billing me for the balance as we had discussed, they decided - 2 months later and without giving any notice to me - to run my card again for the additional 50%. This caused 4 overdrafts to my checking account. When I called to discuss this with them they were very casual about it, indicating that instead of sending a bill they had just decided to run the card. They indicated that they will take care of any overdraft charges, but this still does not help me at all - as I'll be unable to use my debit card for at least 3-4 days while this is resolved. UPDATE: Steve Schuette has since followed up and been extremely professional about this situation. Given his actions, I will likely use this vendor again in the future and would recommend them to others.

The people at Kirkwood Glass were excellent. We were there at 8 am on Saturday when they opened. They came out looked at a gasket that had come loose above the winsheild that had been replaced several years ago. In 5 minutes they had sealed it back in place. As we went in to pay they said no it was a no charge. just bring your future business back to Kirkwood Glass. we definately will. we were treated more than fairly.

They were professional and the quality of their work was good. Their pricing was reasonable as well. I have used them several times over the years and they have always been good.

It went well. A young guy form Kirkwood Glass came out to measure our table top and give us an estimate for the glass. He was punctual and very friendly. He answered all of our questions. We ordered the glass. It took maybe two weeks (I can't remember exactly) for our order to be delivered. They were running a little late on the delivery time and I had to leave for another appointment that day. However, they communicated this to me when I called and it worked out that they could bring the glass by after I returned from my appointment. One of the guys involved in the delivery was the same guy that measured the table top and gave us the estimate. Once again both guys were super nice and very careful with the glass. They cleaned it before putting it on the table.

A technician came out and took precise measurements, as well as tracings of the dining room table and the buffet. Approximately two weeks later, two individuals delivered the glass, cleaned the table top and buffet top, cleaned the glass tops and then carefully overlaid them onto the surfaces of the table and buffet. We did, however, find that we had to re-clean portions of the underside of the glass on the table-top. Fortunately, the technician who installed the glass tops had demonstrated how to safely remove the glass tops.

They were excellent. They were very prompt coming out to give me a bid. They stayed at the bid price for their work. They were careful about removing the old mirror and installing the new piece. They did everything in a timely way.

From the initial phone call to schedule an estimate to when the glass products were installed, the process was smooth and handled professionally. We were happy with the installation and are pleased with the overall look and functionality. Recently the shower door needed a minor adjustment. The person who had installed the door came out and within two minutes had completed the fix at no charge.

Kirkwood Glass made the process painless. They came by the house, first, to assess the damage that had been done (my dog had jumped up on the window pane and broken the glass) and determined the cost for replacement. We opted to replace two panes (the bottom two, for good measure), both with tempered glass, for safety purposes. The company then contacted me when the materials were ready, and scheduled the work to be done. This all occurred over about a 2-1/2 week period of time. The men who came out to do the glass replacement were professional, quick and cleaned up after themselves. I was very satisfied with their work.

Excellent service. Performed on time. Very neat, professional and on time. Thorough maintenance instructions given. Have used this company twice now and would highly recommend them.

Came out and gave me an estimate and paid half. I went on vacation and came back and gave them a call. They came that Monday or Tuesday, they were real nice, no putty work shown.

They looked at the windows before giving me an estimate so they knew what they were working with. However, the day they replaced the windows they broke the plastic seal on the top window (they said it had rotted out - I didn't know plastic could rot) they had to caulk the window back in. They felt no one would see it because of the shade but you can see the bottom part where they had to cover the jagged pieces of plastic with caulk to make it look smooth which it does not. The house is only 13 years old so the windows are not old. I felt the guy just wanted to get the job done and move on.

We placed our order and were told it would be ready in five days. The order was actually ready in three days. We are very happy with the quality of the glass and would use them again.

Work was done well and in accordance with time specified in estimate. Cleaned up thoroughly after installation, including the board-up done by another company. Required a 50% deposit.

Our windows that didn't open and shut properly were put back on track. This was a hard and dangerous job. The men were pleasant the whole time. When glass needed to be replaced. They were great w/ that. I don't mess w/ checking out another company. I'm not sure if they are cheaper than other companies. I just know they do a good job.

Kirkwood glass is extremely reliable and professional. They replaced some broken panes of glass in a picture window and were out to my house within 24 hours. Also, they replaced mirrors in all three of my bathrooms. Very affordable.

EVERYONE IN THIS SHOP IS ALWAYS MORE THAN WILLING TO HELP AND PROVIDE SUGGESTIONS. THEY ARE ALWAYS PROMPT IN GETTING WORK DONE, NEVER MORE THAN 3 DAYS. THEIR PRICING IS FAIR AS WELL.

THE MIRRORS WERE SIZED JUST RIGHT FOR OUR REMODELING PROJECT. THAT IS JUST FINE. THE ONE SHOWER DOOR HAS A TRANSOM. THEY DID NOT PUT THE HINGES OF THE TRANSOM IN THE RIGHT PLACE SO WE HAVE TO PROP IT OPEN. THE INSTALLER PUT WEIGHTS IN IT TO TRY TO MAKE IT RIGHT, BUT THAT DOES NOT WORK, AND HE TOLD US THE HINGES WERE NOT IN THE RIGHT PLACE. THEY SHOULD HAVE FIXED THIS BEFORE BRINGING OUT FOR INSTALLATION. THEN IT WAS TOO LATE. WE ALSO HAD TO KEEP REPLACING THE PLASTIC PIECE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR AS IT KEPT COMING OFF. FINALLY THIS IS FINE. THIS WAS A REAL HASSLE WITH MANY TRIPS OUT TO WORK ON THESE THINGS. THIS WAS CUSTOM WORK AND WE HAD TO WAIT A WHILE. WE DID NOT HAVE TIME IN THE WORKING SCHEDULE TO HAVE THEM REDO THIS DOOR BECAUSE OF THE TRANSOM. THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER SINCE THIS IS A TYPICAL THING THEY SELL.

THEY'RE A BIT PRICEY BUT DO GOOD WORK.
