They removed all the appliances and completed the work on time and it was very well done. We had an issue hooking up the dryer pipe, and Chris D made sure to come back an hook it up for us - no questions or charges at all. I will 100% be using Key Carpet for all future jobs.

A sewer backup caused a small flood in my basement and we had to remove carpeting in the finished portion of the basement. I found Key Carpet on Angie's List and asked if they could come out to my house and provide samples and a quote for new carpet installation. The rep came out days later, provided samples and invited us to the warehouse to look at more possibilities. We picked a carpet and scheduled an installation. The installation went great and the carpet looks fantastic. The whole process went smoothly and we are happy with the result.

It went very well - quickly and smoothly. We had already had the furniture moved out of the room for the guys so they didn't have to do that, but they did help me move a couple of the big items back in when they were finished. The rest I had to do by myself, which was okay, although if the guys had helped it would've taken a lot less time. No worries on that though. We didn't pay for them to move it, and since it wasn't on the order they were just following directions. One of the guys did have to come back and cut out where the carpet had been placed over a register...when I realized it, I called the office and Dave was back in no time to correct that. I should've caught it before they left, but I didn't even realize it until I was moving the furniture back. Again, problem solved quickly and with no fuss. All in all, we were very pleased with the service and with the quality of the carpet!

The crew arrived on time and called when they were on their way. There were three people in the crew, and they worked efficiently and quickly, finishing the job all in one day. They were neat and cleaned up quite well after the installation. I was pleased with the job and would definitely use them again.

Key Carpet was absolutely amazing! This project was for house getting ready to go on the market. Chris was wonderful in advising us on flooring, and made the project stress free. The installers were VERY professional. And the price? AWESOME!

Smooth and painless process to replace carpet in master bedroom before moving into new home. I made one phone call instead of trying to hunt someone down to help me at a big box store. My wife and I met with Ray and within days of that meeting we had our new carpet. Great experience all around and cost was considerably less than those stores you can never find help in.

Good: The customer service person was very responsive to our needs, offered a great timeline and a very fair price. The installers were right on time and worked hard throughout the time they were here. I was impressed with their skills and how cleanly they worked. They hauled away all the old carpet and made the old pad work just fine. Needs Improvement: We asked for silver transition strips and got gold, one of the installers had dirty hands and left some finger prints, and one of the guide wheels for the bi-fold doors got lost. None of these are big problems and we would definitely use Key Carpet for any future flooring needs.

Process went great. Chris from Key Carpet responded to complete the measuring and presented samples for the carpet. He said the hardwood could be refinished (I was looking into covering with laminate) and suggested the refinishing for a better look and value in the home. The refinishing was a less expensive option, Chris was honest about this and we went with the refinishing. Carpet and hardwood floors were refinished as promised. All the work was done in about 4 days, and the outcome was fantastic.

Everything went well except the job could not be completed the same day so they came back on Memorial Day to finish the job. I don't any other company that would come and work on a holiday. The carpet is amazing. I love the color and the softness of it.

The carpet installation crew was very efficient. They worked steadily all day until the job was completed. We had an involved staircase that took time to install the carpet properly. Very satisfied with the result. The old carpeting was taken away.

They were prompt. Ray came to our house with samples of carpeting and he was very helpful. It was a few months before we booked but they did an awesome job installing the carpet and cleaning up. We are now planning to carpet the rest of the house through them next year. I also recommended to a friend and they were very please also with the work.

It went great! I contacted Key Carpet based on the ratings on Angie's list. Everything went smoothly and well from the measurement of the space to the final steps of the installation of carpet and laminate flooring. I was not a "high end" client, yet I felt treated as one by Ray Johnson (the owner) and the installers -- Chris and his crew. There isn't a single negative thing I can say about the whole experience, and I would recommend Key Carpet without any reservations. The price was VERY reasonable, the quality of the materials are excellent, and the sales and installation process superb!

I walked through the house after it was installed. The carpet looked great. The house was clean. The linoleum entry way looked great.

The entire installation went as expected, on time and installation was very professional. Carpeting looked beautiful and installers were very careful throughout process. Cleanup was great, too. 8 days later, I discovered that the carpet was wet from a leak in one area of the basement, and the carpet was smelling moldy already. What rotten luck! I set up a dryer on the carpet, and Ray sent over my installers to see if they could determine the cause of the water issue, and to pull the carpet back so the issue could be resolved. One of the installers recommended a company to treat the problem, and even placed a call to get the owner to my house for an estimate. I really appreciated the timely response from Key Carpet and the help in solving the water issue. The carpeting stood up well to the water and will be reinstalled once the sump pump work is complete. A bum luck turn of events, but on its way to final resolution!

Everything went according to plan - Ray was great in working with us to find the right carpet for our needs (and in our budget), and everything was done on schedule. Even some carpentry work (doors refitting) was done and cleaned before they left. Just a great experience.

I have nice, plush carpet in my basement, but damage from kids and pets - one mystery stain and one cat urine, which hadn't come out with multiple cleanings. I had a bit of leftover carpet from my original 10 year old installation and wanted to patch the damaged areas, replacing pad as needed with the pet issue. I called Key just before Christmas, and the gentleman who helped me took all of my information, got an overview of my request, and said he'd get his repairperson in touch with me that day; he was polite and helpful. I hadn't heard the next morning, so I called back; he apologized and got in touch right away with the repairperson, who called me back quickly. He was willing to schedule the repair within the next 1-2 days, which was great; I set it up for the morning after Christmas, and he laid out his process and verified charges - $150, which should take care of everything I had mentioned. He and his son showed up promptly on the 26th and got right to work. Although the pet damage was a larger area than I'd thought, he replaced the entire pad area and patched as best he could with the carpet I had, leaving the patch location choices up to me after discussing pros / cons of each option. He then re-stretched the main basement area, without me needing to move furniture. Professional, polite, prompt, and a reasonable charge for the repairs done - although of course I'd always love to pay less! I'd certainly call them again.

Excellent experience. I have only purchased carpet once before and from a store. This time, we were replacing carpeting on our whole 2nd floor and I wanted to have the provider come to me so that I could shop at home. I worked with Ray and he was extremely knowledgeable about the carpeting and process. He came with a comprehensive number and type of samples and allowed me to spend a great deal of time comparing and eliminating choices. Once the final choice was made, the order was placed and within 2 weeks the carpet was in the warehouse. They worked with our calendar to schedule the install and it was completed in 2 days by installers who were very professional. We love the carpet and our beautiful runner on the stairs. I would recommend Key Carpet to anyone considering new flooring. We will definitely use them again.

Chris came out to my house with samples and gave me an estimate. We arranged for the work to be done on Sept. 30. The two installers arrived on time. They were professional and did a good job.

We worked with Madi & Chris. Both were very professional. Madi provided a quote the same day and set up our installation date quickly. Chris and his team did a great job of disposing of the old carpet and laying down the new carpet. It looks great. We are very happy. It took them from about 10am-2:30pm. They cleaned up very well. We would definitely use them again.
