They did in one day. They were cheap and fast. They had payment plans. They will move furniture. It was perfect.

I just moved into a new house and there was a large stain on the carpet in the living room. My wife and I wanted it replaced before the movers got there so we didn't have to pay for furniture removal. David came highly recommended and he was willing to install the carpet over the weekend provided the carpet was in stock. We bought cheap in-stock carpet from Lowes and David had it pickup and installed in about an hour.

The guy Ray was extremely helpful. He worked with me to re-arrange my insulation at the last minute. They did a great job and it was the best price around. The clean up was great. I would use their services again in the future.

Overall our experience with Key Carpet was pleasant and we are pleased with the carpet installed. Because our sales person, Rebecca Ulsas, did not know the carpet we first selected when she brought samples to our home had been discontinued, she asked us to come to the showroom to see what was available. She was very helpful in finding carpeting similar to what we had originally selected and arranged to have samples shipped to our house within 2 to 3 days. Once we had made our decision on the carpet and colors, Rebecca e-mailed us the contract price and details of service Key Carpet would provide as well as terms of payment and warranties. Also we were provided with detailed instructions of our duties to have the rooms ready for carpet installation. As soon as we accepted the terms of the contract, carpeting was ordered and date of installation for the following week was set. The company called the day before installation to see if all was ready for the installers who were to arrive between 9 and 10 a.m. the next day. The two installers arrived around 9:30 a.m. and had the job all completed by about 1:30 p.m. They vacuumed all the rooms carpeted and cleaned up everything before they left. We are really pleased with the outcome, the new carpet looks great, pricewise we feel we got a very good deal. All Key Carpet personnel were responsive, pleasant to work with and professional. We definitely will have this company do more work for us in the near future.

Ray was prompt in coming out to the houses to measure the areas and brought samples of products. Knowing these were rental houses, he did not pressure us to buy the highest grade products, but he suggested long-wearing, stain-resistant products. When the installers first started putting in the vinyl, I had buyer's remorse about the color as it had been some time since I had seen the vinyl and I didn't like it with the rest of the kitchen furnishings that were now in. I hastily called the office and asked if it was too late to change. I went to the office to look at other options and wait for Ray to check on how far the installers had gotten. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. In the end, the installers were past the point of no return unless I just wanted to buy more to put on top. Funny thing was--the renter's liked the flooring and after I took a deep breath and stopped panic-ing, so did I. I used it on the other rental as well. I opted for a nylon frieze, which was not the cheapest carpet, but because it was a "second", it was very reasonable. Whatever makes it a second is undedectable. The price difference going from a 6 lb to 8 lb pad was only $17 so we upgraded that as well on a 12 x 25 ft family room. I am about to call Ray again for another rental home, so I guess you could say I was pleased with the company and their service!

The company called me the day before installation and confirmed that the installation was for the next day, 3/17. The installers arrived on time and spent about 4 1/2 hours. They cleaned up before they left and did a fine job. I am very pleased with the carpets and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish.

We had looked around at a couple different places and Key had the best pricing.

We made an appointment with Ray Johnson to pick out carpet and get an estimate for carpeting the upstairs bedrooms and hall. He was very knowledgeable and guided us in making our selection. Ray came to the house, measured, gave us a price and we set a date for installation. We wanted to do two rooms on Friday and the other two on Monday. He was quite willing to accommodate us. The installers were prompt, courteous, efficient and left thing clean and tidy.

They were timely and did a good job of installing the carpeting. They did everything they said they were going to do - there were no surprises. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

It went very well from start to finish. Chris was the sales person who was easy to work with and helped me tremendously to find the carpet I wanted. The men who came to lay the carpet did a very nice job. There was a misunderstanding during the project, but the company was extremely responsive. The carpet looks beautiful.

They do a very good job. Also they have a very competitive price. It wasn't the quickest job though. It took four weeks to complete. They also don't respond the quickest, but they are still good. I am very satisfied with them.

Everybody I spoke with (Ray, Chris and office staff) were professional and they were excellent at keeping me in the loop during the process. They were able to perform the work within a few days of completing the order. Their price was competitive and they offered financing that allows me to postpone payment until my house sells. I would definitely use them again.

I've used them many times and recommended them to many people. He's great to work with, he's very helpful and I feel like he's honest. If he thinks he can't help me then he'll steer me to another place that he thinks can help me. They've always done great work for us and if there's ever been a problem they come right back and deal with. However, my problems have only been minor.

WE NEEDED CARPET IN A HURRY. WE BOUGHT A FORCLOSED HOUSE. THE PREVIOUS OWNER LEFT 3 CATS WITH LOTS OF FOOD AND NO LITTER BOX. I GUESS HE THOUGHT HE WAS GETTING BACK AT THE BANK, BUT I HAD TO BUY NEW CARPETING. I FOUND KEY CARPET THROUGH ANGIE'S LIST AND MY VERY PICKY REALTOR. (WHAT SHE DIDN'T KNOW WAS THAT I WORKED MY WAY THROUGH LAW SCHOOL BY LAYING CARPET. I WAS READY TO TELL THEM HOW TO DO IT RIGHT, BUT THAT WAS UNNECESARY. THEY POWER STRETCHED EVERY ROOM) THEY WERE ALSO CHEAPER THAT 2 OTHER BIDS FROM LESSER COMPANIES. I WOULD HAVE GONE WITH THEM EVEN IF THEY WERE THE MOST EXPENSIVE. START TO FINISHE THE MOST PROFESSIONAL JOB I EVER HAD.

Installation went perfectly and professionally. We had a patterned carpet that needed to be installed straight and square and they did a great job.

A man came to give me an estimate and said he would send me the final agreement by Saturday. By Monday I had not received the agreement and had to call them. We did agree on a price. Two young men came to replace the carpet. After they left I found many carpet nails on the carpet and stepped on one. It did no physical damage. One of the young men was rude by my standards and that of 2 other men doing other work in my house. In all fairness, when I complained to Key Carpet they did offer to fix anything I found wrong with the carpet, but I felt there was no need for them to return to my house.

Everything was good, though the price seemed too high for the small space.

He did a wonderful job. He was very reasonable. Everything went wonderful. He was here on time, he did a nice job, and he cleaned up after himself and left. If I had another project I would have him come back out.

Based on the excellent ratings in Angie's list, I contacted Key carpets to get an estimate for installing carpet in my basement. I had done my homework on the type and cost of carpet I wanted and had a general idea of the overall cost and had also gotten quotes from two other vendors. Ray Johnson was very nice to work with. He came by to measure and map the layout etc. While his general estimate was in the price range I had thought it would be, however he rose to my challenge and came in "under" the lowest price I had been able to get, from a large and reputable, contractor-only, outlet store. But this was just the beginning. He made sure that the carpet we ordered was the one we wanted and had the factory ship us samples directly and only when we confirmed the carpet selection did he go ahead and place the order.The installation crew that came to do the install was very thorough and professional and courteous. I was very impressed with the way they worked. There was no rush to get the job done or cutting any corners. Everything was done patiently with an obvious desire to get the installation right. The crew cleaned everything up after they were done. Overall the entire process, from estimates, to ordering and installation, was smooth and extremely well coordinated and the best thing was they were actually the most competitive on price as well. It is rare to get such a combination of value and service. I'd unhesitatingly recommend them to any value and quality conscious consumer.

This company is the real deal! Ray responded promptly to my call for help and scheduled our floor replacement for the next work day, despite the fact that this was right before Christmas. Their price was more than fair, and the work was done well, on time as promised. Both Ray and the installer were professional and customer-oriented. I recommend them highly to all needing this kind of work done. They are an exceptional resource in our area for flooring and carpet needs.

When our painters finally finished (this will be another review) we were ready for carpet before listing the house for sale. Ray and Key Carpet were able to get the job done REALLY quick and for $500 less than any other discount carpet provider I could find. Removal/installation took approximately 3 days but we had the house ready for them because we had just had everything painted. They hardly made a mark on the freshly painted walls! The installer called me twice about small problems they encountered & to ask me how to proceed. Wheels on my bed frame were broken & they offered to replace but I couldn't be sure it was them that caused the problem. I was just glad they didn't try to hid "issues" from me, as my other contractors had done. I would use both the company AND their installers again in a heart-beat! The installer explained to me that the way my stairs were originally carpeted wasn't really "right" and he offered to do some extra work to correct the problem.
