I had a dead tree, about 20' high that need to be removed. It was right next to a fence and 8' from a swimming pool. Ken gave me a great quote, slightly more than half the price of another Angie's list top tree service providers. Ken suggested we drop the top of the tree in a neighbors yard. I wasn't sure about that, but he showed me exactly how it could work and promised it would be cleaned up to look like it had never been there. I had my neighbors call and talk with Ken to see if they it was a workable solution. After talking with Ken, they agreed. As scheduled, Ken showed up dropped the tree and he and his associate cleaned it up perfectly. No damage to pool, fence, or neighbor's swing set. I made an additional request, after he gave me the quote,asking him to take out a 20+ year, 5' bush that died last summer. He agreed and dug out the roots, by hand--all for the original quoted price. Throughout Ken and his associate were always personable, professional, straightforward and delivered all he promised and more. I would definitely use him for any tree service and recomend him to friends.

Ken came out for an estimate. He was punctual but seemed in a hurry which didn't bother me. He still answered my questions plus gave me the additional suggestion of having a few limbs cut back away from the house, which I agreed to have done. He said his crew would be out in a week or so. They showed up one morning about a week later. They were very quick and efficient. Cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't have been happier for the price I paid.

The work was excellent, he did a great job and we were very pleased with both the work and clean up after the fact. He did it very quickly, in about a half a day.

Ken came out to give an estimate the day after I called him. I had three bids - one company was quite high, and the other was just a tad higher than Ken's. I've used his service one other time so I knew I could count on him for professional service. We set up a time and crew can out on time. Did a great job. We changed things a little bit once he got here, which was not a problem for him- they wanted to do what we wanted and for us to be happy with the work. Hard working, very nice crew. They did a great job. Great clean up - left the yard and driveway better then when they got here. First class, nice to work with, great crew of workers.

Ken came over to give us an estimate the same day we called him (on a Saturday!). We had gotten a few other bids to take down an incredibly large and old Bradford Pear tree. Ken was one of the more economical bids we received. He gave us options of taking it down and also gave us payment options. No one else offered that to us. His men were like watching a professionally choreographed ballet, the way they worked together and the skill of the man who climbed the tree and cut the limbs was fun to watch. There was not a leaf left in the yard when they were finished. All of them were very courteous and polite. They did not stop until they were finished. It took them approximately 3-4 hours and they were gone. I would recommend them to anyone and I would definitely use them again!

I contacted Ken and he came out and took a look at a 50' or so tree that was killed by lightning, gave me an estimate, which I accepted, he told me he would be here the following Monday morning, shook my hand and off he went. The crew arrived as promised Monday morning, swooped in, cut down the tree and removed every scrap. A couple hours later someone showed up and ground down the stump. I was not here, but my adult son was at the house and he was so impressed with their work that he text me several times during the removal, and I found this impressive in itself, because my son is a very hard person to impress, let alone take time to text me and tell me how impressed he was. From the way he talked, they cut down, processed and removed all debris and were gone within less than two hours. My son also told me they wanted to be sure he was totally satisfied with the cleanup before they left and told him to ensure I was also satisfied, once I got home. Ken then came by later in the afternoon to inspect the site and to be sure we were happy. I hope do not ever need their services again (I do not want to lose anymore trees), but if I do, I would not hesitate at all to hire them again. Definetely a positive experience.

It took the crew about 6 hours and they never stopped to take a break, but rather, moved quickly to get the job done. The three man crew was so trusted that Ken was able to go about other business while they worked. They worked as a team, one fellow in the tree, another guiding the rope and the 3rd pulling the branches/trunk so it landed safely away from the house. Then two of the men hauled it to the chipper. The impressive part was the concern they had in cleaning up, raking, replacing things they had to move before cutting and always concerned about our satisfaction with the work. My wife was VERY impressed with their sense of detail. The stump removal created a mound of chips which were raked and trashed in the chipper/truck. And raked again, picking up all the small twigs and pieces. Their attention to detail was remarkable as well as their courtesy.

They came, they sawed, and they cleaned up! Ken (owner) and his crew Steve, Robert, and Doug were really outstanding. They spent about 3hours at our home and did an awesome job trimming our trees, both out in the yard and near the house. They scaled the trees like monkeys and handled their saws like samurais! They quickly learned the look that I was going for and followed through. Knowing that I am particular about my trees, Ken personally walked around with me to trim some individual trees near the house and advised which limbs were best to remove close to the house. They really did a nice, efficient job, and I was very pleased. They also cleaned up the debris very well. The trees look great! Thank you, Ken, et all!

My neighbors power line was under some of the tree branches. Ken worked with Ameren as well as with my neighbor to get the branches safely removed. All the debris was hauled away and my yard was left in good shape. I would use Ken again and would recommend his services.

Very punctual - Gave an estimate the day I called. Ken was very nice on the phone and in person. Provided service within 2 days from estimate. Cleaned up. I'm not sure the price was high or not - but was more costly than I hoped to pay. Their friendliness, responsiveness, and professionalism sold me. I recommend.
