He rushed through the estimate, and wanted to charge much more than other companies.

KV Service provided excellent service. Vern had established ongoing dialog with me prior to the scheduled time. KV arrived promptly and were equipped with quality tools befitting a professional tree service company. The KV Team, through precision cutting, roping and use of their "apple picker" were able to down the tree with precision and efficiency. They finished in the projected time frame (about 3 hours). KV cleaned up after themselves and reconnected lines. They also provided me with proof of insurance on demand and forwarded me a copy in the mail as well. My biggest concern was the closeness of my neighbors decks and my own home to the tree. After watching them (off-n-on) for about an hour, those concerns were resolved. I will use this company again. It is my hope that after reading this testimony, you will as well.

Couldn't be happier. Vern returned my call and gave me a bid within 24 hours of my original request. He and his group came out right on time, did a wonderful job of shaping the tree, and had everything hauled away in about an hour's time.

My dad came over because he wanted to see how it all worked. He said there was a team of workers with a truck with a cherry picker, chain saws, and even a bobcat to pick up the larger sections of the tree. They took down the tree in sections, ground out the stump, cleaned the area of wood debris and were gone within 2 hours. He said they were very polite, very knowledgeable, efficient and quick. I will definitely call Vern when I need additional tree service in the future.

They did an excellent job! They must have hauled away 5 tons of lumber! Their price was great: about $2000 less than other estimates I received. My former tree man doesn't get my business any more!

Very quick in responding and making the repairs. Brought a large crew so it didnt take much time. I had a lot of concern of large branches hanging over the house and he took care of it very well.

One evening I called about my tree, the next morning he came out, looked at it and gave me an estimate. I accepted and left the house and by the time I got back that afternoon, it was gone and they were gone with the whole thing cleaned up. Two weeks later we had a big storm and so I was glad they catered to me so quickly.

This was a tricky job, the tree was between my house and a neighbor's house. Some of the branches were overhanging my neighbor's property and causing concern. They had to carefully remove the branches one at a time and use a rope system to take down the tree. They did a great job, nothing was damaged in the process.

They really know there stuff. They did a great job on the trees. I did think the price was a little high but the work was good. They did show up on time and seemed very polite and hard working.

We were at work when they came and completed the job. They did such a wonderful job that the yard was actually cleaner after they left than before. We received several bids and we got theirs the quickest. The cost wasn't too bad for all the work they did.

I think there was some sort of miscommunication when I tried to get my estimate, because I called on Saturday and the next Wednesday the workers seemed confused as to whether anyone had been to my property. Once that was sorted out, they completed the estimate within the next few days. I called them on a Monday to schedule the work, and was told they would come out one day that week. The work was completed that Friday. K V was by far the lowest of 3 estimates I received.

Did not have them do the work because they were more than double the estimates from two other companies. Vernon showed up as agreed and provided an estimate.

I called and left about 6 messages. I still haven't heard from him!

Vern is very irresponsible to let this situation persist.

I had previously contracted to have the work done by two other companies. Both promised to do the work, but never delivered. Weeks, then months went by. In frustration, I consulted the List, and read some very complimentary reports about Vern and his team. Vern returned my initial call within the hour, then bid my job the next day. One week later, the crew showed up first thing in the morning and executed the job with military precision. These guys are pros, AND they have the equipment (similar equipment to AmerenUE and other municipal teams). My property looked great afterwards, and I was relieved the job was finally done. If I ever have tree work in the future, I will call on Vern & the KV team.

These were great people. I called six companies for an estimate and KV was the first responding (three never did respond) at by far the lowest price. They were accommodating and efficient, AND I liked them.

Very happy. Called them a few days after a major storm after other companies never showed up to estimate. Vern came out that day and left an estimate. I called the next morning to accept the bid, and they came out that day to remove the broken branches. They said they would return in 1-2 weeks to remove the rest of the tree. They returned within that time and removed the tree, and ground the stump in less than 2 hours. Very professional, no damage to house, or cars near the tree.

KV Tree Service was wonderful. I called them the night of the storm (Wed), and they said they would be there in the morning. They gave us an estimate at 7:30 AM, and came back at 9:30 AM to do the work. They were fast, courteous, and cleaned up all the debris. The work was done in about 15 minutes. They also got a lot of other work in our neighborhood. Under the circumstances I thought it would take a long time to get our tree taken care of, but not so. Maybe I should keep them a secret...

They brought the right equipment, worked quickly, and when they were done it was as if it hadn't happened. We called around 7 am and our yard was cleared by 9:15 am, which seemed impossible given the amount of work. We were very impressed and felt that the price was very fair, particularly given the large storm.

Couldn't be more pleased. Work done on time, with no hassle.

Vern gave me the lowest quote & provided outstanding service. Did the entire job in one day. Ill definitely use again.

Vernon came by promptly after I requested a quotation for removing the tree. I thought the quote was reasonable, and asked him if he could do the work within a couple of days, since my wife and I were leaving town for two weeks. He agreed, and was here bright and early on the day promised. The work was finished quickly, the mess was thoroughly cleaned-up, and there was no damage to the advacent fencing or gardens. This was a completely satisfactory job.

Excellent work. They came the day before and marked the trees and bushes they were going to remove. The next day at noon, every trace of the trees and bushes was gone, as if they had never been there. They were prompt in bidding and in doing the work, and the price was lower than any other bid we got.

Called for estimate on a Monday. Estimate completed the same day. Work completed that Wednesday. All work completed exactly as requested at the cost of estimate and was billed later. We were not home at the time of the work. Per neighbors, they worked very fast. No damage done to homes/fences. Some minor holes in yard, as expected, secondary to rain the day before, large trees, and equipment needed to complete the work.
