Description of Work: Jon replaced old smoke alarms, and installed several new ones as well. He also hung a picture for me in a decending stairwell wall - which was a little tricky.

He made an appointment with us the evening of our call, and gave us an approximate bid. He showed-up on time, was courteous, his work was great, and he cleaned up after himself. They were quick, pleasant, did excellent work and left no mess. I had a heavy glass wall hanging that I called them back for and they were glad to come back just for that. I would trust Jon for any work in my home!!! 5 stars!

Description of Work: Main shower stuck in the on position. Took apart the problem advised me to call Delta for free replacement parts. They sent those and he was back to fix the problem. Service all together took 1 1/2 hours.

+ 0 morejon was very pleasant and enthusiastic. he fixed a hole in my bathroom ceiling by patching the drywall. i wondered why he didn't replace the whole section of drywall ceiling which i think would have been faster, but the result, while laborious on his part, turned out quite well. i think he made 4 trips to my house for this.
Description of Work: he patched a hole in ceiling drywall. did a very good job. put in a lot of hours, repeat vists for the money. i was please with the result.

+ -1 moreVery well since he was able to fit me into his schedule, arrived with all the equipment and manpower he needed and was efficient with his work. Very reliable and will return your phone calls as promised Highly recommend.
Description of Work: Figured I would have to leave a voicemail for Jon to call me back later but he answered the phone and then after we talked briefly asked me to send him some more details and he would call back that evening. Sure enough he did call back and we discussed the job at hand which was to move 1 heavy tv out of the basement to the garage (up the stairs and then down the stairs) and then mount 2 flatscreen tv's on two basement walls (drywalled). He gave me an estimate and then we discuweilssed his schedule. I was excited that he would be able to make arrangements to come the next week and was glad he actually discussed some of the work with my husband (as I am not very tech-savvy). They arrived just as they promised and performed the work and all was great. I was very impressed with their schedule and service and just the overall customer service he gave us. If it is a job that requires him to bring along a helper he brings them along and has a truck with lots of tools and equipment for whatever he encounters on the job. Trustworthy and reliable!! That seems to be a major complaint in this industry and Jon is a first-class business man and we found him very reliable both with returning phone calls and the job itself. I didn't put a price on this because I believe every job is different and stands on it's own with it's own related price. We were very pleased with the work and the price which was very "affordable" just like in his company name. I am highly recommending him and we will definitely use him on future projects.

They were slightly irregular but Jon gave us standard measurements and said he would be able to make them work and save us money. We went to Home Depot and had to order one of the doors. It wasn't delivered to us as quickly as Jon was able to come back so he chipped off the old address numbers and drilled a new plaque into the brick. The house already looked much better. Jon also put in a dog door for us that day. Since our storm doors were to come in the next day, a Saturday, Jon said that he and his brother would come by Monday morning and install them. They took their time and were perfectionists about the instillation. The doors look amazing and I wasn't able to tell that they'd made any adjustments for the size of the door and the opening. It's been a few weeks and they look and work as well as they did on day of installation.
Description of Work: We needed two storm doors and a dog door installed, and our address numbers removed and replaced with a plaque.
