Description of Work: I contacted John about helping with a home appraisal. We ended up not requiring his services after all. Even so, he was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our information requests. Pricing seemed comparable to others. If we are in need of a property appraisal again we will be calling him!

Description of Work: Basically I gave him a list of improvements I had made to the property in the last few years. He did a walk through of the house inside and out. He emailed a copy to me and to the financial institution. I think it was fair and included the improvements. The appraisal showed prices that other houses in the neighborhood sold for recently. Easy to work with. Answered followup questions promptly.

 + -1 moreThe cost reflects two properties at $300.00 each. Mr. Burghoff was friendly and courteous on the telephone and was able to accommodate my schedule. He provided a contact number in case I could not make the appointment or was running late. He arrived at the property on time and was extremely professional and friendly. He asked if I wanted the reports by mail or by e-mail. The reports arrived as promised and were extremely professional. Prior to sending the report, he e-mailed me to provide a status update. I am delighted that I selected this company and I would highly recommend him again. I will absolutely use him again when I refinance my home.

He compared our house to recent sales in the neighborhood and gave us a report with the estimated value of the house. He was pleasant to work with and provided a professional and convincing valuation of the property.
