Job is not yet complete - so far it has gone well. I wish I had been informed that they euthanize all animals rather than relocating them beforehand. I would be happy to update when the job is complete.

Always very freindly and willing to accomodate to our indivdual needs. I know I can always call them and they will come free of charge if I have any reoccuring bugs. I also like that their spray is pet friendly, meaning I don't have to block away my dogs after the treatment. All employeess who have come to my house are never anything short of professional and friendly.

Very well--they installed the system over 10 years ago and we have experienced no termites ever. Their annual cost is reasonable, compared to other companies, and they are easy to deal with--simple process to schedule, helpful staff. They also provide the blocks for the mouse traps around our house, which also work well.

Holpers is very thorough and professional. We have the same tech every visit so he is familiar with our house and what we want him to do. We have been using Holper's for many years and have been very satisfied with them. I would definitely recommend them.

Approx. four years ago, we had a problem with mice/field mice coming into the house, esp. in the fall and winter. Since Holper's first came out, we have been on a scheduled continuing service to check and bait the stations/boxes (outdoors) around the house. They come out when needed. And determine when the next service is needed by the condition/use of the bait stations. Since their first visit, we have no longer had a mouse problem. They are very knowledgeable, very professional, very courteous, and most of all, very reliable. They do an excellent job advising you of the conditions they find and when they will return. As mentioned, they will service on as 'as needed' basis (either monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly, and if you call them).

They are always very professional and make sure that I am satisfied.

As expected. Previously-set traps had sprung, but apparently no moles were killed; therefore no $79 fee was assessed.

We have had MANY different pest control businesses come to our home to rid our home of ants. None of them worked. This is the very first provider that has stepped up to the plate and taken care of our ant issues. Not only with spraying, but with educating us as to barriers for insects and their effectiveness. We have had them to our home twice and are very pleased. The tech wore booties when entering our house and was respectful of our carpet. He was also 100% punctual. We were so pleased, that we asked to be placed on a regular rotation/maintenance program. I would recommend this company.

Not well at all. After approx. 12-14 months with no improvement, when I called to cancel, then the tech said he would change some things in the poison. For a few months I thought it might be better, but was not really sure. Then I saw no improvement and I quit. No one asked why I quit this second time.

All of it was fine - I do think that an explanation beforehand would be helpful. The evaluation took place and the following day I got an email stating that I was getting another visit the following week, and I responded to this saying that you had just been here, but I didn't hear back until the technician was at my door the next week. Anyway, it's all fine but it would have saved some confusion on my end - never be accused of providing too much information.

The first time there was still a problem with ants right afterwards, but when they came a second time with a stronger spray this seemed to have solved the problem of the ants.

We have used Holpers for years. They are great. From the office staff to the technicians. Very friendly. We had Matt for years and now have Jerry. I like that it's the same guy every time. They chat with me but very briefly and get to work. I like this, my time is valuable. We will be with Holpers for many more years to come.

I had an ant problem and unrecognizable jumping bugs. The serviceman told me since it's been so dry they have been showing up in my residence to seek a water source. I appreciate their honesty and knowledge. Holper's were one of three companies recommended to me and by far the most responsive.

Service is always quick and effective. No more spiders in the shower. I'd recommend using Holper's.

Ryan was friendly and did a great job. Definitely didn't try to sell me on services I didn't need.

I've been happy with them. I pay extra when they set the mole traps. Right now, they're getting ready to start getting some squirrels out of the roof line attic. They're good. I've been pleased. They do what they say. I don't see animals. If I see any, they come and take care of them so I guess it works. I'd give them a B plus and that's only because communication with their office is sometimes confusing. They think you've set up a specific appointment time and they just tell you that's what it is when they really haven't called you so that's my only complaint. I think they were switching to automated and that's when a lot of the problems were occurring. I think they're expensive but I've kept them because it works.

We were very happy with their services, but they need to work on their phone system and communications.

The technician from Holper's, Charles, arrived as scheduled. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He educated me about ants and gave me 3 options: do nothing (think about it/no pressure sales), a one-time treatment or a 3-time treatment (6 month guarantee with the last option). I chose the 3x treatment. So Charles treated all around the house, a bit in each room and left some traps discretely placed in the back of the house where the ant population was highest. After that, he came 2 more times, just treating outside the house and checking the traps. We had great results right off the bat. I think we saw 3 ants over the next month, after the second treatment, zero ants. He always came well within the window of time scheduled and the company makes reminder calls (as well as reminder emails).

I contacted Holper's based on their reviews on Angie's List. I asked them about a mosquito barrier spray. We have used a company in the past that sprays permethrin. The person who I spoke with at Holper's said they use a different treatment made from garlic oil and she said it was just as effective as permethrin. They promptly scheduled the service and a few days later a technician came to spray. They left a bill for $99 and did not include the 10% discount for Angie's list members, even though I had asked for it. More distressingly however, the garlic oil spray did nothing to alleviate our mosquito problem. I called the company to express my dismay and was told that the owner would call me back. He did not. A week later, I called again. I was again told the owner would call me back. He did not. I called again today and the person who answered the phone said she had never heard of me. She was able to look up my name and found us in the schedule from a few weeks earlier. I expressed to her, again, that the treatment they recommended over permethrin did not work. She at first tried to tell me there was no guarantee on their barrier spray. When I told her that I had specifically asked about permethrin barrier and that they had said their garlic oil spray was just as effective, she offered a credit for the bill. She then offered a free treatment again, but I refused since the garlic oil spray does not work. I do not recommend this company for mosquito eradication. Their treatment does not work. Find someone who sprays permethrin.

Representative came out that day and notified me that animal was mostly decayed - only fur and bones really left. Considering that, he gave me the option of canceling the service for no charge, which I thought was very generous. We went ahead and had him remove the animal, as we were having guests that weekend. Kind of expensive for 10 minutes of work, but worth it. I couldn't even get near the area without gagging. Representative was respectful. I would use them again.

Holpers stated that they could not get out until the evening and/or maybe the next day because they were backed up. Meanwhile we called St. Louis County to remove the raccoon that was trapped in the basement as we could not take a chance on waiting until the next day. Meanwhile Holpers did make it to the home within about 3 hours. We thought this was great. However, St. Louis County had showed up to remove the raccoon that was trapped in the basement. Therefore the extent of expectations for Holpers was to set traps to remove the remaining the raccoons. Prior to their arrival, Holpers took my credit card information, explained the Trip Charge ($75), explained the cost to remove the raccoon (I believe $85) and also explained that it would cost an additional $185 to set the trap and more fees for the removal of the other raccoons if any were found. Holpers did a good job in showing up early, walked around the property (did not go inside), understood from the tenant that St. Louis county had been there and then just left. They charged me the trip fee ($75) but did nothing more as discussed and expected. Upon calling them to follow up, they were very RUDE! She explained that they had no instructions to set traps. When I questioned this I was told what the notes stated. I was also told that they didn't know who took the notes. I would be charge another trip fee and everything as described in addition to them not being able to come out in a few days. Very Rude employee I spoke to June 30, 2014. I'm still baffled as to how a very small company doesn't know who could have possibly answered the phone and spoke to me on 6/27/2014. I shared my concerns online and the employee told me to go for it. Therefore, I?m going for it. Beware and take the names of each employee before you provide them with any credit card information just in case there are communication issues.

We have used Holper's since we bought our house five years ago. The first time they came out, they did a great job, and we were really impressed with the service. The spray worked wonderfully, and it isn't harmful to our pets, which is very important. The techs always show up on time and even call us when they are on the way, so that we can be prepared by getting the dogs out of the way. I plan to use Holper's at least once a year if not more for as long as we own this home.

They were prompt and effective. They set a raccoon trap on roof and came back at 9 that night to take away raccoon they caught. They came back 2 days later to manually find and extract two raccoon offspring from a difficult place in the eaves.They also set squirrel traps which it turns out we didn't need. They do get results. I was a little taken aback by the 85 dollars an animal charge for extraction on top of 300.00 initial cost but they did the job and did it quickly. Very pleasant to work with.
