They were very good. They knew what they were doing and they knew how to do it. I didn't have to explain anything. They went right through it. They knew what I wanted. It is holding up well. I didn't get a competitive price.

Edelen came to the house for my estimate almost immediately and they were not only less expensive than my competitive bid, but they were able to deliver my door to me within two weeks - more than a month faster than my other options. I wanted to have my garage door stained, which Edelen does not do; however, they delivered the unfinished door to my home and then came back to install it when the finish was complete. They were extremely responsive. The garage door is beautiful. I have a Century home, so having a garage door that looked as though it belonged with the house was extremely important.

Everything has turned out well. It did not take them long to get here. I called them, and they came out the next day.

I have used them before for all of my needs for garage door openers and adjusting my garage door and everything. I even told the owner when I went in to his showroom that if it was not for Angie's List, I would not even know that his company did anything else besides garage doors and he was really taken aback by that, because they do all kinds of replacement doors and windows. I told them that I did not think that they advertised their other services very well, but I had no problem with what I was looking at, I just felt that the quality of the Pella door that I bought was better and the price was not significantly higher.

the technician arrived on time, explained what he was going to do. he did suggest 2 other springs that were more expensive but i chose to stay with the original item i had requested. he replaced the 2 springs efficiently and examined the other parts of my door to make sure they were in working order. i was told that the motor on my garage door opener had been stripped and i was going to need a new motor or replace the opener entirely. i was given alternatives as to other door openers which were available. i was told the cost of just replacing the motor. there was never any pressure on which way to go.

They fixed the problem quickly and gave us tips on maintenance to avoid future problems.

Edelen was recommended to me by a friend who had used them. From the time I went to their showroom through the actual installation, I was very impressed with their helpfulness and professionalism. The office staff answered all my questions thoroughly with no pressure on me to place an order right away. I was able to schedule an appointment in my home with the estimator just 2 days later and he again spent as much time as I needed to make sure my questions were answered. He actually asked if I was sure or needed more time when I told him I wanted to go ahead and place my order that day! The doors were ordered and installed within about a month. The two installers who came worked quickly and cleaned up everything so well that it looked better when they left than when they started! The two patio doors took about a half day and they came back the next morning to install the front door and storm door. I needed to leave for an appointment about 15 minutes before they finished up the second day and they made sure everything was locked up and neatly cleaned. I was quite impressed to see a few days later that they had even shimmed up a post on the front porch before they left--something not connected to the installation, and not even mentioned to me. Again, they left things in better shape than when they started!! I did have a minor problem with the adjustment on the door closer on the storm door that I wasn't able to solve myself. I phoned Edelen and they came within a day or two and took care of it. I would use Edelen again without hesitation and will recommend them to my friends.

I called several companies to get an estimate for replacing a 2 car garage door. Edelen came in with the best price for a 2 car garage door and opener complete replacement. They responded quickly and had the new door in place the day after I gave them the go ahead. Only took them 4 hours to do the complete replacement. I am very happy with the work they did and would use them again.

I am very happy with their service. 1) They came on a Saturday. 2) Called me in the morning and confirmed the appointment and gave me a time window on when to expect the technician. 3) Technician explained everything. 4) They did not try to sell me stuff that I did not need. 5) Showed me how to do routine annual maintenance on the door 6) Repeatedly asked me if I had any questions or clarifications needed What more can you ask?

We saw the Solatube display at a home show and liked the idea. Within a week of our call, they came out and measured, ordered items and installed. We selected the 14 inch Solatube with the upgraded deflector lense for our dark foyer. Total installation time was a little over 1 hour. No mess at all - installer cleaned up everything. Now our foyer is very bright! Exactly what we wanted.

My garage door opener malfunctioned, so I researched and decided to call Edelen, from the Angie's list reviews. After talked with a person at Edelen, I decided to replace my 26 year old garage door opener, rather than to repair it, since parts probably would not be available. He gave me a price and I agreed to have that model installed.They were able to set up an appointment at my convenience. On the scheduled day, I was called in the morning to give me a more accurate time time for the installer, and he was right on time. He preformed very professionally and efficiently. And explained everything about how the new opener worked. I have nad no problems with the new opener.

The door wasn’t closing all the way and I thought it was the problem with the spring. It turned out there was no problem with the spring; it was probably my garage door opener. They were here for a follow up call. They were here when they said they would be. They talked to me and explained everything they were doing. They were very professional, trustworthy and seemed very honest.

They were just fine. The doors were around $1,600 each. I would use them again.

Everything went great. Prompt bid, prompt service, good communication. We have an oversized front entry (our house was built in 1904) with a transom, and it fits like a glove. It only took the installer about two hours to do the work, and we can feel a difference in the warmth inside already. Looks really nice. Our original door is cool (arched, with panel glass) and the storm door still lets you see it all.

Excellent installation, product and clean up. Replaced double entry door, shopped big box stores and due to size, special order and not confident they were considering all options. Felt Edelen researched all options and presented best. Price was a bit over big box stores but not by much. Happy with end product and install. Windows competitive with about 3 places I shopped. Would definately use again.

All involved were courteous and professional --- the person in the showroom, the person who checked the site, and the installer. The installer arrived exactly on schedule and did an excellent job. The whole transaction went very well.
