Dunn rep. came out to review my issue, stated for about 10 min and charged me $50 for the device call, but it took them 3+ weeks to call me back for an estimate and the cost to replace the gasket was extremely high compared to other estamates I received. I wasn't so upset about the cost it was more so that it took almost a month to respond.

I called early in the morning and explained my emergency (house temp was 33F). They got a technician out within an hour, who was able to get the furnace running quickly. The technician explained the problem in great detail and told me how I could try to resolve it myself in the future. We had called another company the night before who had attempted to scam us. I honestly was ready to buy a new system but he told me that it wasn't critical yet. I would definitely hire Dunn again - great experience.

Wow, I can't say enough about how grateful I am that I called this service provider. Imagine smelling an electrical burning smell in your house the day after Christmas at 8:30 p.m., and suddenly noticing that, while the temperature outside was a frigid 8 degrees, and the thermostat set to 72, you notice it starts feeling cold, and realize the temperature inside has dropped to 69 degrees. Panic sets in. Panic because it's getting colder, It's after 8 p.m., and it's the day after a Holiday. Don't fret, call Dunn Heating and Cooling, they're available 24 X 7. They sent a technician out within an hour, and he assessed the situation, the Blower motor on my 5 year old Frigidaire Furnace was burned up. There was nothing he could do that night, but did note the model and serial number of the unit, and promised to contact Frigidaire regarding warranty (10 year warranty on parts). The next day, the folks at Dunn contacted me, and let me know they'd contacted Frigidaire, and Frigidaire had authorized the warranty, so there would be no charge for the new motor. They sent a professional, pleasant technician out who promptly removed the old blower motor, demonstrated to me the damage to the shaft (bearings were shot), and then put a brand new one in. Within an hour, the house was back up to 72, and we were comfortable once again. I'm really impressed with several things regarding this provider, that are lacking in other providers. First, 24 X 7 service is unbeatable, even if it involves overtime charges. 2nd, the communication on Dunns part, keeping us informed at every step, what and when everything would happen, and 3rd, actually contacting the manufacturer for me and authorizing a replacement part was above and beyond my expectations. I thought I'd be paying $500 for the motor, and arguing with the manufacturer over how much they would reimburse me. This was a stellar experience, and Dunn Heating and Cooling is now my go to provider for HVAC Service in the future.

We chose JT Dunn based on a friend's recommendation after contacting 4 reputable HVAC companies in STL. They were a bit pricey with their initial bid but were willing to negotiate. We were really happy with the work they did. Brett (owner) came out initially and he was professional and very knowledgeable and did not use any high pressure sales tactics. His crew then also showed up on time, and did the install very professionally and in a timely fashion and cleaned up well after they were finished. We would recommend JT Dunn anytime.

Everything was fine but they overfilled and had to come back while I was out of the country.

Not great. They had to come back because the unit wasn't cooling. They had added too much coolant and had to let some out. They also took three attempts and almost a week in 100 degree weather to figure out the problem because of logistical issues at my house (handler in attic and small entry). But they were very nice about the whole thing.

Fine, it just took a long time and sometimes hard to get a response from them.

Contacted Dunn and we missed each other several times. Once I finally spoke with someone, I explained what I needed done at the home and knew I would want a more efficient unit upon replacement of the existing unit. I took pics for him and was told they would get back with me with a game plan. I did tell him no rush because it was hot and I wasn't using the heater anyway. Eight days later, I still had not heard anything from them. I began to get a little concerned and at least expected a call about the game plan by then. I figured the replacement t could still wait. I finally cancelled and I'm still waiting on my refund with no answer from Dunn after making several calls. I'm now asking Angie's list to step in months later.

Rob the technician was very punctual. He called when he was on his way. He was wearing a clearly marked Dunn HVAC shirt with his name on it and was clean and professional. He serviced my A/C and was on his way without a mess. I would recommend Dunn HVAC and Rob to anyone that needs HVAC service.

Dunn Heating and Cooling has completed a number of projects for us. They are always timely and professional. I recently asked them to complete some work in our basement, and it is better than I ever would have ever expected! We will always use Dunn Heating and Cooling! They literally are the best.

Hiring Dunn Heating & Air Conditioning was just a mediocre experience. When I first called to schedule an appointment, their office staff was helpful. For the planned job, they thought the job would be around $400-$500. As we got into the job, scheduling and communication was difficult. The job ended up being bigger than they thought (at no fault of their own). When our technician couldn't get everything done in one day, he said the office would call the next day to schedule. I never received a call and I had to call them to reschedule, come to find out they couldn't get us in until the next week. There were a couple more times where I had to call them asking when to expect the technician. It was just a very dragged out experience. After everything was said and done, our total was over $1,500, and that was after a discount that they generously gave us. Our technician was friendly and sympathetic with our situation, which we appreciated. I understand that the project ending up being bigger than anticipated (there were more gas leaks than we thought); however, for the other two repairs it was $750 and I feel that should have been within the $400-$500 original quote. Laclede was also unhappy with how secure the new gas piping was. There were many spots where it was hanging from the basement ceiling. My dad came and secured that himself.

Fantastic. Rob was an excellent service provider--very knowledgeable, quick, considerate, and personable. I'd highly recommend Dunn based on Rob's service and quality. Also, the team answering the phones and assessing the situation was helpful. Overall, great experience!

I purchased the coupon off Angies list for $435.68 for Whole House Humidifier + Furnace Tune-Up + Carbon Monoxide Safety Check. They were on time, professional and clean. I have now been using the the humidifier for over a year. It works great during the dry winters and is easy to adjust. The gentleman who did the work also took the time to show me how to change the filter on the humidifier. They were great, and I will use them again.

The first technician that was sent out by JT Dunn Climate Control said that the unit could be repaired that the unit need new coils etc . I called the office of JT Dunn to ask how could the tech do a proper assessment because when he came out I was not at home and he had no way access to the inside of the home to do a full assessment of the ac unit. They assured me that it was an accurate diagnoses' moving forward I was given an estimate of roughly $1100.00 I contacted JT Dunn about a week and a half later to request to have the work done. when the tech it was a complete different tech after he looked over the unit he said ha the unit really needed to be replaced and he proceeded to contact his office manager Kathy she proceeded to say previous tech Scott was no longer with the company and that the unit would need to be repaired as stated by the previous tech. I spoke with Kathy and the tech to let them no my concerns that I wanted to the best out come and I don't want to just throw my money away because if the unit really needs to be replaced I would rather spend my money towards replacing than repairing. I trusted this company Jt Dunn and its employees because this is not my area of expertise. The tech completed the work and I gave the tech my credit card number and signed my invoice. Needles to say the tech proceed to make repairs to the coil on the ac unit, 1 week later the ac unit froze up and the lines that the tech was supposed to had replaced were leaking. I called my home warranty company in turn sent out another company that assessed the unit and said that the coils leaking and the unit freezing up caused further damage and the unit would need to be replaced. I also received a call from Capital stating that there were fraudulent charges to my account this was 3 and half weeks after the so called repair from JT Dunn I had Capital one check all my charges for JT Dunn but they said that the transactions was never put through by the merchant JT Dunn. I was in the process of applying for a home HQ loan I was informed right before closing that JT dunn and placed a lien on my home.. I was infuriated because I am still enduring the blacklashes of this company. JT Dunn placed a lien on my home for$1300.00 dollars within less of a month of the service call. I called their office and spoke with Kathy the office manager and asked why was I not notified of them placing a lien on my I never received an invoice or phone call, what kind of company places a lien on someones home in less than 30 days of service without making any effort to contact the customer. however I paid that $1300 fee to the court when I received copies of the documentation that had been submitted to the court , I was once again in ragged and disappointed because JT Dunn had had additional findings and suggestions to the invoice after they had given me my copy ( FRAUD). Per Kathy the lien would be lifted with the paper work she gave me ..needless to say it was lifted because the paperwork she gave me was not a legal document , in the mean time my closing was set back and every time I would call Kathy about getting the right documentation she would take my calls or call back. I filed a complaint with the better I was then contacted by the owner Brett initial he apologized and said that he wanted to make this right and he agreed to refund me my money if I would retract my statement with the better business. I informed him I had no problem adding to my statement that he corrected the issues as long as he kept his word. Brett told me that he would mail it out and I should have it in a few days.. They money never came when I contacted him he basically told me that he changed his I should have called his company back to fix the issues I informed him that all that had transpired I was no-longer comfortable with using his company. I feel that JT Dunn took complete advantage of my lack of knowledge as a consumer and then the owner himself refused to owner his own words or even correct the mistakes of his employees ...what kind of company holds the the consumer accountable for what the employees are paid and trained to know. I trusted this company and this was a complete nightmare I paid them $1300 for a ac unit that ran for about a week ...The worst part of it all was the the owner Brett not keeping his word or taking ownership for his employees.
