Description of Work: Replaced gas Furnace. |Went well. In order to finish the job, the installers stayed till 7 pm. They were very diligent. The owner met with us prior to installation to make recommendations on the size furnace needed and features. We were very satisfied.

Description of Work: Purchased and moved into new house end of last year. Asked Dunn to come out and look at HVAC system because not sufficiently cooling and keeping up with warm temperatures outside. (Thermostat would be set to 72 but show 78+ when 90+ outside) The tech checked coolant levels and temperatures. He advised all was okay and normal. I was concerned because 95% high efficiency furnace was vented from PVC into a metal vent. Expressed my concern to the tech and he said it was fine. His ultimate analysis and conclusion was that the 2.5 ton unit was undersized for house - only way to ultimately solve would be to upgrade system. He did recommend that I clean the condenser as well (which was done). HVAC technician was very friendly and professional but clearly after a second opinion did not diagnose anything properly. | |I was still having the same problems weeks later and was referred by a coworker to a different HVAC company (Second Opinion HVAC in Ballwin). They discovered the HVAC was three pounds low on refrigerant, the second stage on the condenser was out, and the venting of BOTH the water heater and HVAC system was completely wrong and a fire hazard and not up to code. Was advised that you cannot vent a high efficiency furnace into a metal stack. Terry with Second Opinion HVAC also discovered through a little effort that the return air was not connected correctly into the filter box and furnace. | |Second Opinion went ahead and recommended a new HVAC system of the same size. They installed everything installed and up to code. Couldn't be happier with their service. Same size unit but house is now an ice box. | |Disappointed that Dunn Heating and Cooling were not able to identify even the most basic of problems and put my safety at risk by not recognizing a obvious fire hazard and code violation with the venting of the furnace. |

Description of Work: Dunn Heating and Air Conditioning are great to work with. They performed my fall maintenance and everything went smoothly. Their tech called me to let me know he was on his way. He arrived a little earlier than my scheduled appointment, but that was perfect for me. He cleaned and checked my furnace quickly and answered all of my questions. I will continue to use them for all of my HVAC maintenance.

Description of Work: Dunn heating put in a whole house humidifier. It was a very professional job. I have a 90% efficiency heater which does not allow the furnace to run long enough for the humidifier to work properly. I'm disappointed this was not pointed out to me. I have checked on the web and don't see the warning either. It must be my wishful thinking. They were quick very nice and did exactly what they were ask to do. I would use them again.

Description of Work: JT Dunn installed a whole home humidifier on our existing furnace. The installer did a great job and made adjustments to how the water line was run based on my husband's request. My husband is typically EXTREMELY picky with other people's work and he was very complimentary of the nice, neat job the installer did. The humidifier is working well.

Description of Work: We chose to try JT Dunn Heating and Cooling because they had an Angie's List special going on 40% off a furnace. However as the sales man and I were talking price on the different units and I showed him the ad on Angie's List he told me he knew nothing about the ad. He call his boss Mr. Dunn, I was told he knew nothing of the ad and would only do 15% off cash only sale, good for that day only. The ad on Angie's List stated there were 17 days left for the ad. I believe that Mr Dunn did not honor his sales ad.

Description of Work: JT Dunn installed a new Trane HV/AC system. From our first encounter, via email, we were pleased with the professionalism. Dan, the sales contact, was very knowledgable and helped us problem solve a tricky duct booster issue. The installers were efficient but did not take shortcuts, were able to build and solve a problem they encountered, and they left the basement clean. We recommend JTDunn and would use them in the future.

Description of Work: Replaced the air-conditioning compressor. They were able to make some adaptions so that it would function until they got it replaced. No other provider did that and it was 100 degree hot and we had house guest and a dinner party. J. Dunn got us functioning and I am forever grateful.

Description of Work: JT Dunn came out to take care of our preventative maintenance on the Air Conditioner. The tech checked everything out and the only thing wrong was the freon level was out of balance. He fixed that issue. Everything else went well. They are a great company to work with and we will keep calling them for all of our heating and air conditioning needs.
