Everything was Great. JT Dunn is everything.

I contacted several HVAC contractors that provide those services in our area. Some of them did not respond to my telephone calls and emails. Some responded but were not able to offer the services quickly enough so we could replace our central A/C before the hot summer weather arrived. One eventually responded and came to our house but did not timely provide a firm quote. One HVAC Contractor other than JT Dunn provided a firm quote but it took several weeks to actually get the written quote in hand. JT Dunn Heating and Air Conditioning responded promptly and appropriately to my requests for information, provided a complete and detailed written quote and followed up to ensure that we had the information we needed from them so we could make an informed decision. We agreed with them on the products, services, price and start date for the installation, and everything was put on a written contract. The air conditioner works great. We'll find out about the furnace when the weather gets cooler in the fall but I assume it will work fine as well. The JT Dunn Project Manager, Jimmie Jones, provided timely and useful information, showed up when he said he would and followed up with us during the entire process as the actual work got underway. The installation crew started per the contract, finished slightly before the estimated time to complete the job and were careful to avoid causing any damage to our home during the install. My wife and I were treated with respect and courtesy. The entire process, including our experience with JT Dunn Heating and Air Conditioning, was much less stressful than we thought it would be.

It went very well! They did a great job. They sent out a salesman who explained why we had different needs. It was an upsell, but I didn't feel like it was a big deal since our situation was a little different. I'd highly recommend them to others considering heating & cooling.

It was a very good experience. They came when they said they were going to come. They were very customer oriented. There were no surprises. We looked around and we definitely got a good price.

They have sent somebody out immediately out when I have had issues. One point my air conditioner was out, and they sent out a technician, and we needed a part. The technician came out, and it was labor day weekend. I have 2 dogs, and if my house is 80 degrees, it becomes a problem for the dogs. They said that if I needed to get out and pay for a motel, they would take care of it. I thought that was above and beyond. I have had a relationship with them. They have charged me a service fee just once, and they have been out about 4 times.

They were great. In one point, he came in and brought in heaters to blow because the heat went out. He brought portable heaters for us. I believe he was the son or one of the owners; you can tell that it was his business and he genuinely wanted to make things right. He was very honest.

They weren't the lowest but when I presented them with the lower price, they matched the price. I liked their salesman. He was very professional and knowledgeable. My interaction with them was positive, and the work was good. They came back the next spring to inspect the air conditioner because they weren't able to do that because they installed it so late last year.

Real good. They did a very good job. Then I had them back in the Spring for the checking of the air conditioner before the season and that guy did a fantastic job. In fact for years there has been a rattle in the furnace when the fan comes on. I just thought it was something I had to live with because it has been there forever after calling and talking about it, he said we are going to fix that. I think it took him an extra amount of time and I think it was 15 bucks for some part of something or a bolt. He fixed it and it has been so quiet and its just a excellent company. Very pleased. He gave me the deal and it seemed like the other prices were in line. I liked the other company that I had it seems it was a little step above I mean the other company was an excellent company it is just I went for the special on the humidifier. The other company I have been using for a couple of years but I probably will stay with JT Dunn because they followed through and they seemed to take it up to another level.

They came first to assess the work that needed to done and gave us an estimate. They were on time, did the work in a timely manner, and left the house and yard clean when they left.

My brother and I went to Europe for two weeks to visit my uncle In Germany. I only had contact with my wife at home via email and texting using wireless internet when we stopped for the night at a hotel. On the 2nd night I was gone, I received an email from my wife stating that the air conditioner had stopped working. We had a service contract with another company, and they came out and told her that the compressor was dead and we would need a new system. They quoted her $5500. Ironically, a couple of days before I left for Europe, I had gotten a Big Deal email for $800 off a new air conditioning system from JT Dunn. I read the reviews and did some outside research, and they appeared to be a highly rated company. I had my wife call them to set up an appointment. They set it for the next day, and Brett, the owner, came out and spoke with my wife. She told me she immediately felt comfortable with him. He gave her a couple of different options in terms of price,size and quality of air conditioners, which she forwarded to me. Brett was very understanding of my limited ability to communicate, and responded promptly to my texts and emails for additional information. We decided to use them due to the quality of product and the price, which at $4200 after the Big Deal discount, was $1300 less than the quote from the company that had our service contract. They were able to expedite the installation appointment because it was getting very warm in our house. The technicians started the install, and Brett came by later to make sure everything was going well. While he was there, he noticed that the ducts coming out of the blower were very rusty on the inside. Surprisingly, he offered to replace several feet of ducting at no extra charge. He also ran new condensation draining lines and new PVC pipe to the outstide of the house at no extra charge. This work took him several extra hours, and would have cost at least a couple of hundred dollars or more if he wanted to charge us for it. My wife said he was there until late in the evening getting all of the extras installed. A couple of days after I got back from Europe, the unit stopped blowing cold air. I called JT Dunn and advised that I wanted someone to come out that evening and see what the issue was. Brett called me back and said he was doing a demo about 60 miles away, but if I could wait for him he could come over that evening. As I am a night owl, I told him whenever he could make it was fine. He kept me in the loop as to an estimated time, and ended up getting to my house at about 11:30 pm. This after working a full day and driving over an hour to get to my house. He diagnosed the problem as a leaking valve in the freon line (no problems with the compressors or any major components). He had one of his technicians stop by the Trane warehouse first thing in the morning, and they had the new valve installed by 8:30 am. We got a quality Trane unit at a great price, and it is very obvious that Brett sincerely cares about doing the job right, going the extra mile, and making sure the customer gets the best deal possible. I was very impressed with his professionalism and passion for making sure the customer is happy with the product and service, and am grateful for the speed at which they were able to get the new unit installed, and all the extra work they did for no charge.

Everyone from JT Dunn was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The installation was flawless and they replaced the outdoor electrical and pad for no additional cost. They also explained and cut the ducts for best airflow. No up-sell pressure either. I highly recommend JT Dunn.

The entire process was well done. I took advantage of a Big Deal. I was afraid that I would get a lower quality of service because of the deal. I was pleasantly surprised at the high degree of professionalism and service provided. From the sales person, office staff and installers everyone was a class act - introductions, hand shakes, and work ethic. The installers came in and did their jobs. They worked the entire time they were here and were not a distraction. One week later and I am pleased with my purchase. The house is cool. The unit has been working as intended.

JT's tech was a pro. Quickly found and correctly repaired an issue that other shops couldnt isolate. The Repair was explained and the cost quoted was both accurate and fair. I recommend JT Dunn to my friends and relatives.

Our experience with them has been fine. The humidifier did not work correctly so they came back and replaced it. I do not remember how much they charged us for the service but they were polite and friendly. I suspect that they probably put in an old humidifier equipment that they had sitting around for a while since it did not work but other than that, they were fine. They have been courteous but I would probably not use them again in the future.

It turned out very well. They were in and out within a couple of hours. They sent out a guy named Donnie. Donnie was great! He explained everything that he was doing. He was very professional and did a good job.

Installed the Humidifier on older Lennox. Even though it was not an easy or normal install they did it as promised for no addtional cost even after two trips to get it right.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went really well. They did a great job. We will have them out again to do service maintenance. The good was that he was efficient, he was very thoughtfull about bringing the equipment in and and out of the house, and when he was done with his work, he went over everything and explained all the ways in which it works, and ways to maintain it. It was good all the way through. The price was very good, and the quality of the work was very good. They were very responsive, they called in the morning and again at night, and came right on time. They were very professional.

Ed arrived at the time promised and the service was great. He explained everything he was doing and how the humidifier was going to work and how to operate and maintain it.

I called JT Dunn because Angie's list had a deal for $1,499.00 and scheduled a time for someone to come out and give me an estimate. The receptionist said there was not an opening until Thursday at 5pm. I asked her several questions and she said the person who comes out will be very detailed. I told her that I was getting estimates from several different people but I did not want to buy the Angie's list deal until I received an estimate and made sure the furnace in the offer would work in my condo. She assured me that the salesman will work with me and provide the best deal for my needs. She even said it is good that JT Dunn would be the last company to come out because I would be able to compare them with all the other companies and will be impressed. I was not impressed with JT Dunn. Mike Boone was the sales manager who came out. He was a few minutes late and only was at my condo for approximately 20 minutes. He left at 5:25pm. He did write down an estimate for me and they were lower than anyone that had came out at that point. He seemed frustrated that I kept asking questions. Every other company took at least 45 minutes to give me an estimate. I asked him about the Angie's list deal and he said that furnace would not work in my condo but there was several that would and would only cost me a few hundred dollars more.

Brett came right on time and fully equipped. He even took his shoes off to go down into my unfinished basement! It didn't take him long to zero in on the problem: a failed gas igniter. It had cracked and broke, preventing the system from turning on the gas. Brett went to a supplier and brought back a compatible replacement part. Done and working fine. Brett is a good listener and explains things very well. After we got my old furnace running, I asked about modern high efficiency options. He did not push a new furnace; I brought it up because all the various government incentives are ending this year. He put together three options and explained the technology differences between each one. Being an engineer, I felt comfortable with what he said. The different options were truly different, not just hype. Brett's explainations were technologically sound. I made my choice and filled out financing forms through a county program that offers very attractive terms. If it goes through I'm buying the last furnace I will probably ever need, and it's going to be from JT Dunn! 4/14/2014 As you read in the previous section, I did it. JT Dunn and I discussed all the available options and I picked what was best for my needs and budget. They did not try to upsell me... the whole process was comfortable for me and I felt I was in good hands. Dunn did everything they said they would do and more. They did the job right and on time. It was a pretty cold day and these guys did not leave until everything was perfect. They were very pleasant and professional. Thanks to Brett I learned about government insentives I never heard of before. He took care of all the forms and got everything filed: low interest financing through St. Louis County, Laclede Gas rebate, Ameren UE rebate, plus my federal tax rebate documents. Not a single hiccup, though I think a lot of these programs ended with the new year. Ask Brett what's still available. He will know. So, did Dunn stear me straight with promises of furnace performance? You betcha. I'm not just guessing that things are better because I spent my hard-earned money. I have three months of gas bills that prove it. Even though the price of gas varied, Laclede has usage charts in cubic feet of gas used. My usage was lower than last year with my old furnace, and you all know this winter in St. Louis was far worse than last. I also know the variable speed blower saves a lot of energy. We'll see just how much when cooling season hits because it's the same blower for my air conditioning. I'm very optimistic. So there you have it. JT Dunn gets my business any time I need something done involving their offerings. Call them yourself. (I received absolutely nothing for my comments here. The subject never even came up.) That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Dunn gets it done, and done right.

It went fine. Gentleman came on time and completed the work efficiently.

we met all the guys that day. someone came and pulled out the old furnace and some one else came and installed new on. they were here 13 hours that day but they were not leaving til the job was done

Repair went awesome. Compressor stopped working and Eric the repair guy found the faulty part and got the unit running like it should. I've never heard it running so quite and cold. One important note is that the JT Dunn got my part replaced under warranty and took care of all of the paperwork. I didn't even know I had a warrant... Great work!

I called on a Saturday morning when our AC went out, and they were at my house within an hour. The owner of the company gave me his direct number so that I could reach him whenever I needed to do so. They installed our new AC unit and indoor coil that following Monday afternoon. The owner and installers were polite, friendly, professional and helpful.

Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. On the date of the diagnostic, our tech was scheduled to arrive sometime between 11-2 and he arrived at 10 (earlier works just fine for me), the tech explained everything so that it was easy to understand and even showed my husband what was wrong with the system. Unfortunately since it was a holiday weekend, we had to wait a few days to get it fixed, but that's totally understandable. For the fix date, the tech was scheduled to arrive beween 8 and 12, and the tech arrived at 9, and the system was up and running in less time than expected and for a lower cost than originally expected. He also found that we were low on refrigerant, so he balanced the system before completing the job. We signed up for a maintenance contract so this will hopefully be avoided in the future. JT Dunn did an awesome job and we feel comfortable continuing to use them in the future.
