Description of Work: I needed several pieces of furniture moved from the house into my garage. Some were quite large and difficult i.e. a ping pong table and large treadmill moved from the basement. Movers did an excellent job. Worked quickly and efficiently.

Description of Work: They moved a washer and dryer to the basement. They also moved a treadmill from the main level to an upstairs bedroom. I had been told by other companies it wasn't possible without serious modification.

+ -1 moreAFTER MY HUSBAND WENT OVER ALL OF OUR POSSESSIONS, WHAT HAD TO BE MOVED, THEY PROMISED THAT ALL WOULD FIT IN 24' TRUCK, NOT TRUE. THEY CLAIMED THEY COULD FIT A 3 BEDROOM HOUSE WITH BASEMENT IN IT, BUT OUR 2 BEDROOM TOWNHOME WITHOUT A BASEMENT DID NOT FIT AND SOME THINGS WERE LEFT BEHIND. THEY WOULD NOT COME OUT TO ESTIMATE THE NEEDED TRUCK SPACE. A SECOND TRIP WOULD HAVE COST TOO MUCH, AND NOW WE'VE GOT TO MOVE MORE STUFF OURSELVES. (THEY DIDN'T MOVE ANY MAJOR APPLIANCES.) THE 3 WORKERS WERE COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT, AND CAREFUL, BUT IT'S UPSETTING TO LEARN WHEN THEY FIRST CAME IN THAT NOT ALL OF OUR STUFF WOULD FIT ON AN ALREADY EMOTIONAL DAY. MAYBE THEY WERE LOOKING TO MAKE A FEW EXTRA BUCKS ON US BY TELLING US IT WOULD TAKE TWO TRIPS. THEY LEFT BEHIND 2 SMALL REFRIGERATORS, PART OF A COMPUTER DESK, ALL THE GARAGE STUFF, ALL THE GARDEN STUFF. IF THEY HADN'T UNDERESTIMATED, I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM HIGHER MARKS, BUT HAVING TO LEAVE STUFF BEHIND WAS A BIG GOOD RATING BREAKER FOR ME.
Description of Work: MOVED WITH THEM 2.5 YEARS AGO IN DECEMBER 2004. FIRST EXPERIENCE WAS FINE, BUT LATEST WAS NOT VERY GOOD. THEY CAME TO MOVE EVERYTHING IN OUR 2 BED/2.5 BATH CONDO TO A LOCAL HOUSE.
