My sister and her husband moved today. The College Hunks (Trey, Richard and Brett) were hard working, helpful and professional. We would use them again and plan to recommend them to others.

I called the company's office to get an estimate on the removal of 2 large filing cabinets from our basement. Due to the size and weight of the cabinets and the maneuvering it would take to carry them up the stairway, I was told it would be best for a supervisor to come out to our home to take a look. The office fully explained how the removal cost was determined and gave me a price range based on my description of the items to be removed. Esteban and Matthew arrived right on time the next morning, carried out one of the filing cabinets and determined that the second would need to be disassembled before it could be removed. From start to finish, they were at our home for 45 minutes. They asked to use our vacuum so that they could clean up after themselves but since we were removing the rug the following day, I told them it wasn't necessary. Both men were professional, polite, and worked efficiently. We will definitely use them in the future.

Awful. This was the worst experience ever. Not only did they damage our furniture and kitchen floor in our new house but they also overcharged us once they completed the job.

They arrived on time. Called me before hand to let me know they were on their way. I had them remove an old-style big screen tv, a treadmill, exercise bike, some electronics and some other small items. I do not have a walk-out basement and the stairs going to the basement turn and the ceiling height on the staircase is low. I was impressed with the care they took to make sure they did no damage to my walls, ceiling or hardwood floors. In order to get the larger items out of the basement they had to dismantle them. They worked efficiently and were very professional. I probably won't need them again for junk, but if I need furniture moved I will call them without hesitation. The estimate given to me on the phone was exactly what the cost was.

I received a call 30 minutes before arrival and it was within the schedule time. 2 young uniformed men (Curra & Max) showed up with a very nice truck. They looked at everything we wanted removed and gave us an estimate that was very reasonable. They went right to work and never stopped until they finished. We had some very bulky furniture and a house that had very narrow and steep stairs, both from the house and basement. They got everything out and did not scratch anything. They will also send me a receipt from Goodwill for anything that can be donated. We would recommend this company to anybody that needs a house, basement, or garage cleaned out.

Couldn't have gone better. Darien and Devin called ahead, arrived exactly on time, moved a lot of stuff quickly and efficiently, including separating the items meant for charity, were both pleasant and professional the whole time, and even earned a loud round of applause after getting an especially large sofa through an especially narrow doorway! This is the 3rd time the Hunks have hauled junk for us, and it will definitely not be the last.

It was hot and humid and the guys did a fabulous job. No one I know could have loaded as much stuff into that truck as they did - there's not even enough room left over for a mouse to fit!! All 5 of the guys were very pleasant, very professional, very polite, and worked extremely hard. Everything they touched was handled with great care and there were no damages to the house or the items they moved. All in all, they did a great job and should I ever need professional movers in the future, they would definitely be the first I'd call.

Starting with Kim responding to my first call and getting crew scheduled within a week to Mike showing up and giving a good estimate and attention to detail to the actual crew led by Austin, we couldn't be more satisfied! Mike showed up on moving day to lend a hand. Austin and team were extremely professional and efficient. Crew of 4 worked hard throughout. We laughed a bunch and they even allowed me to help. Have already recommended them and would definitely use them again.

I admit that I was surprised at the cost of 1/3 of a truck to take away my unwanted goods. It was certainly convenient to have everything done at one time but I'd definitely re-think doing it again. As for the move, I was very well organized and had taken everything small myself, so I was expecting 1 - 2 hours at the most, and believe that the process could have gone quicker if they had simply moved quicker. The travel time between locations was 15 minutes tops as well, so the time spent was simply what the movers required. They were delightful young men but there was no sense of urgency. I suppose my less-than-totally-positive reaction is based mostly on having moved here from Chicago in 2011 with a total cost of packing, storage and moving just about the same as what the move portion of the service cost me. I can't say if prices have simply increased or what, but I'm still a bit in shock.

I had found out about College Hunks at an organizing workshop I attended in 2013. I realized that I was unable to carry my stuff upstairs and load the storage containers and I was unable to find anyone I knew who wanted to do this type of work. I made inital contact with College Hunks via the Internet and then conducted the rest of the scheduling via telephone. Based on my description fo the type and amount of material to be moved, I was told 2.5 hours for 2 hunks should complete my job but if it was done in less I would be charged for the minimum 2 hours. I was happy to know that the workers are all bonded and tested and TRAINED. They knew how to carry heavy loads and how to load these storage containers optimally. On "the day" Scott and "Croc" called to let me know they were on their way. They arrived on time and surveyed the work and the requirements before going on the clock. After discussing a plan of action, they started in. Croc carried boxes,etc. up the stair and Scott loaded the containers. I stayed in the basement to help direct what materials needed to be stored and what needed to be thrown away. I am a quilter and many of the boxes were tubs of fabric which are heavy. Croc was carrying 2 at a time! The work was completed in 2 hours. Everything was moved out of the basement to my satisfaction and placed where I wanted it. The extra change for hauling off the extra cardboard boxes was well worth not having to deal with that myself. Scott and Croc were very pleasant young men and made this part of the project easy on me. Work on my basement is proceeding. When complete, I plan to have College Hunks return and moved my storage items back into the basement.

They were very good. They were very professional. They did just what they said they would do. They were in and out pretty quickly. It was probably a little pricey.

They were fine. They were on time, pretty cost efficient, and got a pretty hard job done. We tried to move that couch ourselves but there was no way, so they used their expertise to get it taken care of and it was done fast.

The guys worked very well with each other. Kept us informed of the progress and asked questions when needed. They took time to insure every room was the way we wanted it and moved furniture accordingly. Very courteous, clean, careful with walls and doors when moving furniture. Great Job!

Two men came to my home and gave an estimate before the job began. The men were pleasant and polite and worked quickly. I would use them again.

Scott and Desmond were perfect gentlemen and hard workers. They had enough courtesy to call and let us know the weather had delayed them in traffic and would be fifteen minutes late. Explained the costs and process and quickly started to work. Although the move was all contained within our home they had some large heavy pieces to move. They wrapped the doorways and handrails to protect the trim. Wrapped the furniture to protect it from damage and treated our items with kid gloves. These guys were GREAT! I would highly recommend them for your next moving project.

We were very pleased with the service. The movers could not have been nicer or more professional. They showed up when expected and were very careful with our furniture and house. We would definitely use them again.

A two-man crew showed up, right on time. One of them turned out to be a neighbor of mine. They worked very efficiently and got the job done quickly. I would like to point out that several of the larger items they hauled away (e.g., an old dresser, a lawnmower, etc.) were supposed to have been removed a couple of days earlier by our municipal waste disposal contractor (Republic Services), but Republic never showed up for the scheduled bulk item job despite repeated calls. I will call this company again if I ever need any more junk hauled away.
